What impressed my mom was that people are always walking around in the common areas. All the residents smile and say hello. It's a happy place. We would recommend Brookdale.

Very clean and well layed out. Nice first impression. Not too big of facility. Very bright and well lit. Rooms are nice size. Staff are excellent. Very accommodating and friendly. My mom had an eating issue and they went out of their way to prepare the meal to help her When my husband who does not like nursing homes says "he could live here", that is a statement! It broke my heart when we had to take my mom out of Barton creek. She became a runner and needed a locked down facility and that is where we are at for the moment. I would highly recommend Barton Creek to anyone.

Good enjoyable, loves that I can live independently yet still utilize all the services offered on campus. Everything that is offered is great. Staff is always friendly. And great food in the dinning room.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at the Cloisters for almost 6 years, she is 100 years old, walks with a walker, has severe memory deficits and needs assistance with all of her daily activities. The staff are well trained, all are very caring and patient and the Activity Staff are very creative with programming and keeping the residents engaged. I would highly recommend this facility to any family looking for a small home like place for their loved ones with memory impairments.

My sweet best friend recently needed memory care and we chose Vista Gardens. It was a hard and emotional decision to move her from her home but the staff at the community made it easier! We chose it because it has a resort feel when you walk in the front doors. It also has a big beautiful park, even with a putting green! My bestie was an avid golfer so we thought she’d enjoy it! Upon moving her in, the team was so supportive and friendly. They took pride in caring for her from her appearance to her lifestyle activities even after her health declined. There were many places we could visit with her where we all felt comfortable. Her grandkids loved the park with playground! I highly recommended this memory care! It was a great experience for us.

What we like the most about Brookdale Oceanside is everyone there, staff and administration, is very friendly and attentive to Mom's needs. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families especially for patients with dementia.

The level of care is top notch. And as things progress (increase in level of care) Mom can just change buildings but be at the same place. I gave the food a 3 but I understand the need for no salt, no spices, no flavor. That is truly the only downside. Mom has had 2 issues since moving there and both were handled professionally and quickly. No complaints from me.

Torrey Pines Bayshire has been an excellent choice…. From the initial visit/tour 2months ago. Staff is friendly, professional & competent. They have been attentive & extremely helpful with this transition.

My sister-in-law loves it here ! Daily activities and outings she couldn’t be happier . Very clean , loves the food . Everyone watches out for each other and has made a lot of friends . Affordable pricing and enjoys the daily workouts.

Brookdale Oceanside is a nice place. chose this place because of the price and location.

A Place for Mom helped set up interviews with several assisted care facilities for my father. After touring them, we ultimately decided on Bayshore Torrey Pines. It has turned out to be an excellent choice. Everyone is kind and caring here. Is it a beautiful facility with efficient staff, lots of activities and a nice menu. We have utilized the included Transportation service a couple times to doctor appointments. My dad has made new friends and tells me often how much he enjoys it here. I think it's really helped with his recovery from his car accident.

I have only dealt with one other place and Brookdale seems much better though larger in everything, residents, staff, are etc. Always seems clean. Very friendly caring staff and professional Quality of care of seems very good. Mom says food is ok but hard to know what she would like better. Seems more crafts would be good, but they like a routine. Small tasks. It is expensive but all of the facilities are, and this one provides good care and keeping an eye on her.

I have piece of mind that mom is safe, receiving attention and being cared for. The staff is very friendly and personable with mom and family. It seem a like something is usually going on to keep residents occupied and around each other.

The staff treated my father very well during his time at Brookdale Oceanside. My father sometimes complained about the food but than he was was always spoiled by my mother's cooking.

The facility and staff were amazing. Gave me peace of mind that they were in good hands.

Brookdale was the perfect place for my needs at that time. I had broken my leg and was non weight bearing for 2 months. I had to use a wheelchair for those 2 months and felt right at home. Thank you.

I really enjoy living here, it's fabulous. Residents & Associates are wonderful. I really enjoy doing the Bar Fit program. hour. The food here is really good-I have no complaints.

I've been here for about a month & So far I've been enjoying living here. Care staff is responsive. I have meet people here that are friendly. I really. enjoy happy hour.
