The care is going good and very well for my mom. It is good that I am to keep in touch with the staff and they are nice people. I believe my mom likes the meals that are served. Activities are available and the staff try to encourage my mom to get involved. I would recommend this community.

They do not have televisions or phones in their rooms. Kelsea was great as she gave my loved one a tv, a table and chair and an electric bed for her room at no charge. I thought the food looked good but she did not like it. They offered a lot of entertainment and other activities. They followed through on what they said. My only issue is the billing process. I would recommend checking on the daily costs before moving in.

After visiting 6 other Sr. Care facilities, I decided on Brookdale San Dimas. In 2015 I had been in the skilled nursing section, off and on, for about 6 months and received very good care. The facility offered many amenities that were appealing. My apartment is very nice-everything is convenient. I only need a very minimum of care at this time, but should an emergency arise there are caregivers available. It is rather like being on a cruise-everything is provided for one price; nice... The food is Ok-a bit the same and challenging if you watch sodium and sugar-but I am getting used to it.

I would highly recommend Brookdale's Memory Care facility. Our mother had previously been in a very nice Assisted Living facility, but they were not equipped to provide the staff attention and redirection necessary to address her increased dementia issues - so our search began. After visiting about 8 facilities we narrowed it down to two that had very similar philosophies. We chose Brookdale because of proximity to family. It also had been recently updated with an open garden and patio area for residents, which the other facility did not have and our mother enjoys. But the most importantly our mother is happy here. They have been able to reduce her medications which decreases her anxiety and get her involved in activities and interacting with other residents.

I can't say enough about the memory care caregivers. they are totally there for the resident and their care. they make sure they are clean, dressed nicely, notice when there is a problem and are great at communicating with family members. activities are more limited than other places, but I would much rather have the one-on-one special care they give than more/better activities. and they have one of the best head nurses in the coachella valley overseeing all of this.

I think the rooms are lai8d out really well. The food is good and they have good service. I have nothing bad to say.

Things are going pretty well. The staff is nice and the community is clean. They have a really good activity program. The food is kind of bland, in the memory care they don't have a lot of options. The correspondence back and forth could be improved. When I call and get voice mail and they are not quick about getting back to me. The late fee is 150$ and that seems really steep.

The only downside about Oak Hill is that it doesn't offer a large range of activities. It is clean, bright, and the staff is great. I even met with the owner on my tour, and he was very cooperative. He gave me a lot of information, and told me about the Assisted Living Waiver Program as well. This will definitely help out financially, and is one of the reasons why I am considering moving my grandmother here.

Wonderful Community. Nothing in life is perfect, there are things that could be a little better. The things that matter are very well taken care of. I have had many experiences at many communites. This is the best by far.

Although Mom has been with the residential center only a week or so, she seems to be adjusting well to the facilities. Caretakers are very nice. Food is excellent.

I liked that fact that it looks more like a home rather than an institution. It looks more like a family lives here so it provides a home like feeling. The grounds are very beautiful with plenty of room to walk around; the home is located on about 3 acres of land. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Beautiful grounds. The place felt very home-like. The rooms were well appointed. Definitely a contender.

I've noticed that my mom's bathroom isn't as clean as I would like. My mom's clothes are always dirty and yes it's Assisted Living, but my mom has dementia and doesn't remember to wash her clothes. So her clothes never get washed. I've mentioned it to them before and asked that someone keep an eye on her and make sure that some of her clothes get washed. I pick her up for doctor appointments and her clothes are still dirty. The staff is friendly, they provide nice meals, there's always some organized event going on, everybody seems to be happy. There are just a few incidents that I experienced when I wasn't completely pleased, but overall, I like Bayshire Assisted Living for my mom. I had to move my husband to a board and care facility because he needed more specialized attention. But my mom seems to be happy there. I would not eat that food, but everybody else seems to be happy with it. It's bland and seems to be canned or generic food. I'm a freak about Health and Nutrition so I wouldn't touch the stuff, but I guess the elderly people don't care as much. They seem to be fine with it. The apartment sizes are fine, and I was pleased with those.

Pleased with Bayshire. Management is awesome. Staff is attentive. He enjoys most of food. We chose a 1 bedroom and it's spacious.

The facility is run pretty well. The staff are friendly. Lots of activities.

The staff here is great and make my Mom feel very welcomed. The food is good and the grounds are very nice. She is well taken care of and her room is kept clean and orderly. They really seem to care for everyone here.

I do recommend them to anybody that asks me! Putting a loved one in assisted care is definitely a learning curve and my dad was not an easy case.

We were so impressed with the nurses & caregivers at Torrey Pines ~ clearly overworked, but doing their best to get to all residents, and always kind & cheerful to my father and family. The front office staff were also always caring and helpful. For those considering assisted living for a family member, we recommend keeping in mind that you may need to hire outside housekeeping services. Keep your family member's diet interesting by bringing in fresh vegetables & favorite foods when visiting, if the room has a refrigerator. And, visit often ~ we met so many residents who bitterly commented, "My family dumped me here," and clearly felt abandoned. Even the nicest facility can't make up for emotional injury.

Serento is a wonderful place for my mom. The staff is attentive and the physical environment is attractive and fun. They have many daily activities and musical guests. The staff always decorates beautifully for every holiday! They make each residents birthday a very special day with balloons and a crown. They have added more excursions and field trips. I would recommend Serento. Financially, I wish the monthly rent wasn't so expensive.

The facility needs to be renovated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Needs a little more home caregiver wise. They were starting to make improvements on the activities in the new year and they seemed really good.
