This is a nice community. We wanted a independence community for her. She likes to be active. It did not seem to appeal to us. The meals did seemed to be appealing. The community was clean and taken care of. The did have activities that would be offered. I would suggest that families tour this community to see for them self if this the care that they are needing for there love one.

The staff have been really good at making accommodations for my mother to make sure she is really comfortable in her new living environment. They even recently added a new activity into there schedule of things to do during the week after my mother had requested it. I was very pleased to hear that they where willing to take her suggestions seriously and work with her ideas. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of a retirement home for there loved one.

Very nice, clean facility with friendly staff. All on one floor so easy to get around. Hallways short and easy access to central eating areas. Food was very good. Staff knew the residents' names. Studio apartment was cute with a little dividing wall between "kitchen area" and bedroom/living room area. Bathroom had easy, flat access to the shower. Nice patios for residents to sit outside. Nice pool and jacuzzi area.

This community is excellent The staff is outstanding. My mom is liking all of the meals that are provided. They do offer alot of activities for those. I highly recommend this community for great care.

Had a wonderful experience moving my father-in-law to Brookdale Oceanside staff has been wonderful but the facility is beautiful and he says the food's great thank you to everybody at Brookdale Oceanside

I came by the community and toured the place. It was a very nice community. The staff were nice. The residents seemed friendly. I had an informative sales manager. I discovered there was not a great price to move-in. We chose a different community based on the move-in special.

My loved one has had no complaints since making the move into Brookdale Riverwalk. He is really liking the meals they are providing as well as the yummy desserts they serve. Housekeeping has been making sure that my dads room and bathroom is being kept clean as well as taking the trash out for him. It is very peaceful leaving with little to no complaints.

My mother in law enjoyed her short respite stay at this community. The staff were helpful and encouraged her to participate in some of the activities offered. They offer activities such as cards, board games and exercise classes. She liked the food. The community is clean and well maintained.

This is a great community for good care.The staff is outstand and very caring. The meals are good and a nice variety. Activities are available to enjoy for those who want to participate. Other families would be happy with the care that is given here.

My mother was looking for a community that would allow her little cat. Brookdale Yorba Linda is a pet friendly place. Activities on site and of site offered. I really was looking for a place where she would be able to get to get around with little assistance this community is recommended for someone that needs more help.

In May of 2016, my sister had to be admitted to this facility with Stage 7 Alzheimers. Easy went out of her way to reassure us that Vista Gardens was the best place for my sister. As my sister was getting checked in, one of the residents came up to us and offered us some kumquats that he had recently picked from the pristine garden area. That simple act of kindness brought a smile to all of our faces. During our frequent visits we established many friendships with the residents, caregivers, cooks, activity directors, and nurses. Shannon, Emily, and Easter were so professional about meeting all of my sister's needs. Nikki in food services went out of her way to prepare some of my sister's favorite meals. Lito even let my sister use her personal phone so that she could listen to music on Pandora. Life is all about random acts of kindness but for this staff, kindness is an every day occurrence. You are the unsung heroes working tirelessly behind the scenes. On May 26, 2016 my sister passed away. I felt so good knowing that she was surrounded by so many kind people that loved her as much as we did. Shannon and Emily "thank you" again for being there at the end with my niece and for keeping her informed about the whole "transitioning" process. My sister is with the angels now but you both gave her wings and gently guided her to fly away.

Dad has only been here a week but thus far our expectations have been exceeded. It is a beautiful facility with true restaurant style dining, which was important. Facilities that mandate when one must be hungry were disqualified immediately from consideration. The bathroom counter is raised which is helpful to Dad who has significant back issues. He is treated, thus far, with courtesy, respect and humor. His room, a one bedroom, is quite small and we saw others with much more floor space, but other issues made that less of an issue. We were able to provide most of Dads treasures without making the space appear crowded. It is, cost wise, in line with the nicer facilities. Less than some more than others. We are happy with our decision.

It was a fine community and I got to meet with the directors. They provided me with all the information I needed. The staff and residents seemed to enjoy the atmosphere.

We just moved Dad in from living in his own home. His first day he was angry but by day two he had already begun to relax. The Staff says, "we are Family now", and treated him so sweetly. He loves the attention. We chose to pay a bit more, for extra assistance, for his first month, to help him get adjusted, very reasonable fee. Great experience so far. Oh, best part, he likes the Food!

My husband stayed at this place for 2 weeks and it went very well and they were good with him too. He loved the food especially the bread! The community is clean and it was always kept very well. Overall I was happy with the care and I would recommend to family and friends.

If I start telling you my story when Gramps & Myself went to check things out at Vista Gardens Memory Care...This is going to sound like a paid AD...lol. 1st impression when I met with Elsy...I knew I was moving Gramps to Vista Gardens..and (I had been to 5 other places they were like moving Gramps to a institution) We felt comfortable here and my Gramps felt like He was at home..I adore everyone at Vista Gardens and the Grounds are Beautiful....Gramps moved in June 1st, He has 2 new buddies...goes out and plays at the putting green ( a deal closer), the food is good too...Everyone in the Staff to many to mention and I don't want to forget anyone they all are Fantastic ...even housekeeping & Front Desk..please don't waste or get overly stressed like I did...or your time like I did ... I love you all at Vista Gardens Memory Care!!!

The staff at this community is very friendly and attentive. My Mother-in-law seems to enjoy the food. She is not one to participate in the activities offered but she does like to go outside and visit. The community is clean and well maintained. She is currently in the skilled nursing are and we are hoping she will be moved to assisted living soon.

I moved my mom into this community about a week ago and so far so good. The staff seem friendly and I am impressed with how they are treating my mom. They get her out of bed and get her involved in some of the activities. The food looks good. The community seems clean and well maintained.

Cloisters of the Valley is a beautiful facility with the most caring staff ever. My 94 year old mother just moved there and everyone is bending over backward to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The grounds are gorgeous, the interior is gorgeous and the meals are delicious. I recommend this place to everyone who needs a safe and comfortable place for a loved one.
