Very lovely, large place with a waiting list for their small (6 unit? assistant living. I was told when I called those accepted were normally already there as residents.Independent living was quite large with many amenities and a wonderful setting. Much too large over all for me.

My mother, who has not been easy to find any sort of comfort for, has finally found a little bit of it. The staff are so polite and patient, it really helped the move in process go over smoothly. I would recommend this community to anyone and everyone looking for a beautiful new home.

My mother moved into The Stafford 10 years ago as one of it's very first residents. And what a fulfilling relaxed time it has been. At every stage of her slowly declining health, she was marvelously attended, and not just her physical needs. Every day was filled with choices of different things to do; fun lunches and tours at a Portland locale, practical trips weekly around town to grocery shop, etc. Attention to her needs were always met, but it was invisible to her. Every visit was accompanied by friendly informative conversations. The staff is fantastic, the facilities are exceptional and I'd encourage everyone to explore The Stafford. Although your needs are likely to be different, The Stafford will easily meet them and add so much more.

The Stafford is a beautiful and welcoming place. It feels like a home. The staff feels like family and is always quick to help or offer an encouraging word or something to laugh about. It is a happy atmosphere that feels like the staff is there because they want to be and like being there rather than It is just a place to work. The food is excellent and the activities are engaging and fun. It is an added bonus having the salon, caretakers and physical therapy on site.

We find The Stafford a wonderful, well-run place to live. It is quiet yet friendly. It is attractive and not institutional looking. Our apartment is comfortable. The maintenance staff is very responsive when there is a need. Lots of activities are available. Excellent workout room. The dining room is an exceptionally pleasant place to eat with a very extensive menu and very good food. We would highly recommend the Stafford.

I have been inside The Stafford many times and I'm always impressed by so many things. The staff are always so friendly, the accommodations are exquisite and feel like being in a grand hotel. They literally have a restaurant with wait staff and personal service which the residents can order whatever they want from a full menu. If I was looking for a place to retire in Lake Oswego, this would be my first stop. I HIGHLY recommend The Stafford!

Our mother recently moved into Gilman Park. The staff and residents were very friendly. Kathleen and Heather were very welcoming and reassuring to mom. I'ts a very lovely peaceful setting, offering many activities to keep residents engaged. We are so happy we found such a safe place for mom! We highly recommend Gilman Park to anyone searching for a new place for a loved one!

We worked with [name removed] on 2 separate visits while we were making our selection for my parents. She was outstanding! Out of 8 facilities we visited, she was the most personable, professional and knowledgeable representative of all. I can't say enough good things about her.

I have seen this community a few times for years and I nearly thought I was in the wrong place when I walked in today. The lobby is drop dead gorgeous, all of the staff are smiling and nice and welcoming. Last year I visited and the place was so sorry and messy. Everything is spotless and totally different now, the caregivers are fast and they aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. This community is right behind the hospital and Avamere!

This community is wonderful, clean and warm. I know that this place has improved over the last few months due to a major overhaul by new administration. The community is just beautiful and there is an amazing overall difference between what was and what is now, wow. I am amazed at what a different place this is! Residents here are happy and now have great care.

The staff here go above and beyond all of my expectations. They are taking 100% care of my Father and they pay a lot of attention to his needs. I really didn’t think they would be on it this quickly. From what my Father has told me, he really likes the food. The grounds themselves look good and it’s nothing super fancy. The only thing I could say is that the carpet could use some cleaning. The reason why we picked this facility I because of the quality of care for the price that you receive. I would recommend this community to other people.

Wonderful place. I would highly recommend this for your loved one. I have had a family member there for 3 years. The management and caregiving staff has always been attentive and responsive to all my mothers needs. They have lots of family friendly events. The staff go above and beyond for not just my mom, but all the residents and each other. The food is excellent. If you are looking for a family oriented place, defiantly consider Oak Park as an option!!

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. They go above and beyond for all the residents who live there. I am in there often visiting and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The residents are always smiling and the atmosphere is so calm and inviting. The staff treat everyone in the facility like a member of their own family. I looked at many other facilities (even out of town) and found them to be not as inviting and family oriented feeling as Oak Park. The food is wonderful, occasionally its a little unique, but they have something for everyone in the menu. The management is engaging and are not afraid to pitch in and help out when needed. They are always available to ask questions or even just to talk. If looking for your loved one, I would recommend this over and over again.

Oak Park is beautiful, has a friendly staff, treat people like family.

I was looking for a place for my husband to go and this place was the only one that had availability. We were a little hesitant at first but it’s been a great experience. The staff is amazing, they couldn’t be any better. Every time I talk with them, they seem knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The facility is pretty nice and new and it’s always clean, so there aren’t any smells or anything like that. [Removed], the activities director, is amazing! Not only do they do in house activities, like music and games, but she actually takes them out too. They’ve gone to places like the movies, museums, restaurants, ice cream shops, and coffee shops. I know there are more than those too. I really wish it wasn’t as expensive as it is, but I would recommend this place to others for their loved ones.

Beautiful property with engaged residents who are always happy. There are several fun activities for residents and the community. Love love it!

The Oaks is a positive environment to live in work in or visit. We are blessed to have their beautiful facility and staff!
