Hilda is very happy at Cabot Cove of Largo. She has been there a week so far. They were so helpful moving her, and couldn't have been nicer. This place is much smaller that The Fountains, and not as much steps,

It seems to be doing good, it's a good place. The staff is very nice and very helpful. They keep them busy doing activities she has a concierge doctor in-house, so if anything comes up, they have nurses and staff to take care of it. I'm happy with Aravilla. During the hurricane, I was told that they had backup generators and staff who stayed on for the duration. They have a chef there with food, so that was taken care of. It's a new building, so it's pretty much hurricane proof. They have housekeeping staff on each floor, and laundry service is included. They do a pretty good job of that. The staff seems to be happy, and the people who live there are happy too. I've seen very good care from the staff. If they have to go to a doctor on the outside, they have a service who picks them up and drops them off. They also offered the families to stay during the hurricane if they needed to. It's a good place from what I've seen when I was looking. It was the best out of ten places and the only place I'd put my loved one in. I think that overall they're doing good.

Mom has been at Aravilla Assisted Living for 6 months. The staff is great--professional, courteous and attentive. Many activities to keep the residents engaged. Mom enjoys happy hour with music every day. I recommend Aravilla highly.

I toured and moved my mother to Autumn about 4 months ago. I toured multiple facilities in the Sarasota/Bradenton area in search of the "best fit" for my mother who has dementia. From the initial tour with the move in specialist and Executive Director I knew this was the community which would fill all my mother's needs. I like that the fact that the community is privately owned and the owners live right here in Sarasota. I see the owners on a daily basis in the facility interacting with the staff and residents, you do not see this from "large" corporations. The Executive Director has 40 years of experience in the management of assisted living communities, which helped to put my mind at ease regarding experienced, dedicated staff who would be caring for my mother. The Executive Director is readily available giving her direct cell phone number to all families and encouraging them to call her directly at any time with concerns or needs of the resident. The nursing staff and care partners are loving, compassionate and highly trained employees, who meet the needs of my mother on a daily basis. Any concerns I may have are taken care of immediately. I am so thankful for this community and the care, love and happiness they bring to my mother.

I recently had to place my father in a Memory Care facility, it was an extremely difficult decision for a daughter to make. When I toured Autumn I knew I had fund the right place for dad. From the initial tour with Jill and the Executive Director Carol I felt the love and compassion this community is all about. My father has been there about 3 months and is very happy with his care, the activities and the response from the management if he has a concern or a special need. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one who needs this type of community.

Aravilla Clearwater it's very clean, cost is fair, quality of care is ok and can always be better, there are lots of activities, good food, so so far so good and it's only been a month in a half.

Cabot cove was good for him. They treated him well. He did have a couple of infections while he was there and they're not staffed to take care of those things. He ended up going to a nursing home because he could no longer feed himself or walk, due to the second infection. He was a very sick guy. It was comforting to be able to trust the staff with his care. He enjoyed the food and music the facility brought in. As his dementia progressed, he required a skilled nursing facility and Cabot Cove initiated the contact with the nursing home. I would not hesitate to place a loved one at Cabot Cove.

No place will be perfect. My loved one is safe now. The community is clean, for the most part, and my loved one likes it. The best plus for them was the layout of the floor, where my loved one can walk as much as they desire. That was important to my loved one and us. Memory care is not an easy job for anyone in healthcare. The community handle situations that arise quickly and effectively.

My loved one enjoys breakfast, dinner and dessert. We picked this community, because it's small, at the time the cost. APFM did a great job with finding places. It's nice, and it's an adjustment for my loved one, and they are doing well. It's very clean. I would recommend to other families.

We placed a family member here seven months ago and have been pleased with the quality of care. The facility has a homey feel and appropriate activities are offered. If a question arises or something needs to be reported we have access to those in charge and receive prompt answers- this is important to those on the outside. This year has been challenging for the country and Aravilla has done its best to deliver on what they promise.

I think Aravilla is a facility that is trying very had to provide its residents with a good quality of life. I also think they are very understaffed !! The people who do work there are compassionate and do their very best- they just need more help !!

Seemed very nice, lots of activities and services, good to have on-site PT if prescribed. Seemed to have lots of nursing staff on site 24/7. Would have been nice to have a meal there to check out the food, and to meet a resident or two. The price reflects all of the amenities.

We liked this community when we visited, unfortunately they did not have an opening available when we were ready to move mom. The staff seem to have a good attitude and the community was well maintained. The food was good and they offered daily activities.

Autumn of Sarasota is a clean community. My parents did not complain about the food so it must have been ok. I do not think they have enough staff. We did hire aids to assist in their room. They use electric keys for the rooms and we had trouble using them sometimes. There is no name of a person of contact to find out information about your loved one.

We went to Autumn of Sarasota to tour this First Class facility. Jill, the Facilitator at Autunm, did get a wonderful job explaining and subsequently moving our mother moved to the facility.

They do not have or are willing to administer any medication besides pills. At end of life hospice has difficulty working with staff

Very clean new place. But very expensive for the average person. I ran to another community we could afford for my mom.

We used this community briefly for respite care, and while there were a lot of positive aspects I don't think it is somewhere we would use again. It is a very new community, and they are working through some growing pains. They're working hard on improving, the for the most part the staff members all seemed very dedicated and qualified. The facility itself is beautiful, and they keep it clean and well kept. My main issues were with the food service. The menu did not always reflect what was served, and I saw some questionable food handling practices. And while most of the staff were dedicated and professional there were a few who were obviously not qualified to be there.
