My parents have been living in Aravilla Independent Assisted Living for about 9 months now. Aravilla helped us move them in quickly, and has helped them become comfortable. My folks can't stop talking about how good the food is, and how much better they eat than they used to. My husband and I had lunch with them there a few days ago, and it was very nice -- scallops, sweet potatoes, spinach, and salad with pound cake and berries for dessert. My folks also walked us all around to show us the various sitting and walking areas, where my dad plays pool and works out, and introduced us to the friends they had made. They had not expected to be living there, but they are content to be there now. They really love all the live music that comes in to entertain them, and appreciate how the staff take care of them.

It has been great experience for my sister. She is well cared for and there is plenty to keep her active.

With over two years of residence in MC my husband and I have been content with the attention and care he receives. The staff is great and patient with the "quirks" he exhibits at times. This is the only facility I have to judge but feel that they do a spot on job of cleanliness, health management, and meal variety. KCF

My Dad moved into Aravilla Assisted Living community in 2020, after selling his condo. We had checked out many other facilities prior, and both agreed Aravilla was our favorite. The marketing director was so helpful and supportive through the entire transition. Moving during the pandemic was scary and unsettling, but dad settled in and felt right at home in no time. The staff has been so helpful and supportive through his various health issues. I can always speak to the nurses, if he needs help. My dad enjoys the live music, delicious food (the chef is accommodating with his occasional requests), and staff. A beautiful, well maintained, safe facility. Thankfully covid-free, the staff works hard to keep the residents safe. We love Aravilla!

After my father died, I needed to find Mom a memory care facility. I researched all the facilities in two counties, reading not only reviews from families but state reviews and ratings. Aravilla rated the highest of all and looked to be the nicest. Mom, had just lost not only her husband of 64 years, but my brother a couple of months before that, as well as having to give up her dog because she was no longer able to care for him. We were concerned about depression on top of her Alzheimer's. Aravilla has been a God-send! Mom LOVES it! she says the people are wonderful, she loves her room, the food is delicious, they have activities all the time and she is never lonely. After only seeing photos online, I finally was able to visit in person and was blown away at how much better it was in person1 No wonder when my brother takes her out for once a week outings she can't wait to go back there!

Aravilla is the perfect fit for my mom. It is beautiful and the staff and residents are great!

My In-laws have been at Aravilla for a year and a half. They have had multiple medical issues, technical issues, memory issues etc and the staff and administrators have taken care of them like they were part of their own family. We are always able to reach someone when something happens. Having 24 hour on site management makes all the difference.

My husband and I moved here 2yrs ago we were down and out and unable to do the daily chores that was needed. My husband wasn't well and at the time we didn't know what was wrong. We found out that he had bladder cancer. Our friend remembered we had a long term policy. In no time at all he had gotten us an interview with a tast of the food. It was the selling point. He gets the help he needs, I recieve the help I need. The care given here is more than 5 stars.

The staff is kind and attentive.

The Executive Director is caring and keeps the residents super safe. Plenty of activities for all types of personalities. Good is very good. The facility is always clean and well maintained Linda E

My husband moved in a month ago and the staff did everything they could to help ease the transition and get him settled. Caring, competent people on staff and a clean, beautiful facility -- and the food is delicious!.

My brother and my sister-in-law (recently deceased), had been Aravilla residents for approximately two years. The attention and care they received exceeded my expectations of an ALF. The loving assistance given to my brother by the professional and courteous staff during the difficult process of his wife's demise is priceless and given me much peace of mind knowing he is being looked after well. Aravilla is the best operated retirement community to live in Sarasota no question! My Aunt lived in the assisted Living accomodation apartments for many years at Aravilla, she was moved from Bayvillage which was nothing but a facade, night and day comparision, she was mistreated at Bayvillage and the hire up's did not address the many issues we had due to very poor management there. Aravilla is a safe enviroment, very hands on, their employees are well picked and work wonderfully with their clients who reside at Aravilla. [Name removed] executive director is amazing will always take your call! My Aunt has since been moved to Memory Care were she is kept busier then ever! And their nurses are all a God sents! my Aunt is lucky to be at ARAVILLA!!!

My Dad has been at Aravilla for about 5 months now. He had many medical issues upon arriving, but now that he is feeling better he is starting to take advantage of all The wonderful activities there are to offer. He loves the food( and that’s saying something!!!) as do I. I love the staff and the residents are so awesome. They are so friendly and I really enjoy going to visit my dad at Aravilla. This last year we had to put our mother into assisted living. I spent weeks visiting facilities in the area. I was less then pleased. I had pretty much given up when I came across Aravilla. [Name removed] (Director) took the time to give me a full tour and answer my long list of questions. The very day I visited I put a deposit on a room. Mom has been there a little over six months and is quite happy. Thank You to the wonderful staff who made this life changing living arrangement a joyous one!

My brother [name removed] recently lost his wife. The staff at Aravilla has helped immensely, as always, in his transition and grieving. We feel he is in the right place for him and us.

I looked at at least a dozen different facilities in the area and although many seemed very good my sister and I chose Aravilla. The environment is much laid back with many activities and good food. The first month was tough for her to get adjusted but now she calls it home. She is very happy there, and really, that’s all I can ask. It’s been over a year and so far it’s been great.

If you want the best care you can get for your loved one, this is the place to put them. I like how friendly the staff are, and they put the care of their patients ahead of everything else. The activities seem to be great. I think the cost is kind of high, but they were fantastic with my mother. And that's worth every cent to me.

After much research we picked Aravilla for my mother-in-law's assisted living. All senior living facilities seem to have challenges, especially now, but this one seems to be mitigating better than most. As a retired firefighter/paramedic I have seen my fair share of facilities and this one is above board. They are also a very active community. My mother-in-law seems to be enjoying the plethora of activities available. They are also one of only a few facilities that have no infractions.
