Aravilla is the best operated retirement community to live in Sarasota no question! My Aunt lived in the assisted Living accomodation apartments for many years at Aravilla, she was moved from Bayvillage which was nothing but a facade, night and day comparision, she was mistreated at Bayvillage and the hire up's did not address the many issues we had due to very poor management there. Aravilla is a safe enviroment, very hands on, their employees are well picked and work wonderfully with their clients who reside at Aravilla. [Name removed] executive director is amazing will always take your call! My Aunt has since been moved to Memory Care were she is kept busier then ever! And their nurses are all a God sents! my Aunt is lucky to be at ARAVILLA!!!

My Dad has been at Aravilla for about 5 months now. He had many medical issues upon arriving, but now that he is feeling better he is starting to take advantage of all The wonderful activities there are to offer. He loves the food( and that’s saying something!!!) as do I. I love the staff and the residents are so awesome. They are so friendly and I really enjoy going to visit my dad at Aravilla. This last year we had to put our mother into assisted living. I spent weeks visiting facilities in the area. I was less then pleased. I had pretty much given up when I came across Aravilla. [Name removed] (Director) took the time to give me a full tour and answer my long list of questions. The very day I visited I put a deposit on a room. Mom has been there a little over six months and is quite happy. Thank You to the wonderful staff who made this life changing living arrangement a joyous one!

My brother [name removed] recently lost his wife. The staff at Aravilla has helped immensely, as always, in his transition and grieving. We feel he is in the right place for him and us.

I looked at at least a dozen different facilities in the area and although many seemed very good my sister and I chose Aravilla. The environment is much laid back with many activities and good food. The first month was tough for her to get adjusted but now she calls it home. She is very happy there, and really, that’s all I can ask. It’s been over a year and so far it’s been great.

If you want the best care you can get for your loved one, this is the place to put them. I like how friendly the staff are, and they put the care of their patients ahead of everything else. The activities seem to be great. I think the cost is kind of high, but they were fantastic with my mother. And that's worth every cent to me.

After much research we picked Aravilla for my mother-in-law's assisted living. All senior living facilities seem to have challenges, especially now, but this one seems to be mitigating better than most. As a retired firefighter/paramedic I have seen my fair share of facilities and this one is above board. They are also a very active community. My mother-in-law seems to be enjoying the plethora of activities available. They are also one of only a few facilities that have no infractions.

I toured the facility & found it to be extraordinarily impressive. It is a place very prepared to take care of your loved ones that needs memory care. The staff was very impressive in their knowledge & helpfulness in answering all questions & fears completely and impressively! They made a complicated process understandable. I have never experiences such caring & help. I highly recommend Aravilla to anyone looking for a memory care unit. Thank God I found them.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job taking care of my loved one and the food and activities are great also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

My family members say it's like a cruise ship on the land. Whenever they get older and need to go into independent living, they would want to go into Aravilla. One of the big factors of the resident rooms is a spacious walk-in closet, which was a must-have for our loved one. The staff is very great at communicating, and everyone I've had a chance to talk to has been fantastic. Our loved one is gaining some weight, so the food must be good if she's actually eating it! The activities calendar looks great. They do weekly field trips, and they go to a garden about once a month, which my loved one really enjoys.

I highly recommend this community to others for their loved ones. They are very organized. My loved one loves the food. The music activity is wonderful for my loved one. The communication with the staff is very good.

We chose Aravilla Sarasota Memory Care because everything was open so it was less of a fall risk for him. It is a newer building so everything is very up to date and nice. His room size is spacious, not too small not too big. I have eaten here before COVID and the food was good, they are chef prepared meals off of a menu. The best part about the community so far has been the safety protocols they have taken since COVID to keep their residents safe. I would absolutely recommend.

We visited many Assisted Living facilities, and Aravilla was our favorite for Dad. It's a beautiful, new facility, and the staff is wonderful. The food is delicious too. They focus on fun, and want all the residents to have a positive, enjoyable lifestyle. [name removed] is very patient and helped us every step of the way. My Dad has a few health issues, and Carol the executive director has been very helpful and supportive through the process. They are doing a great job through this pandemic, keeping the residents safe. We love Aravilla!

Should you be looking for a 5 Star Facility for a Loved One I suggest that you visit Aravilla......My Wife has resided at Aravilla for the past 18 months, she has a very nice clean apartment and is cared for by a very caring Staff....The food is excellent and she is kept busy with the many activities.....The Friendly Staff is always available, including the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing......My Wife loves Aravilla!

At this truly unsettling time, my sister is a resident at Aravilla ‘s wonderful memory care assisted living home. I don’t use the word home lightly. While her family, me included, are living in other areas of the U.S., she is bring well cared for by her extraordinary caregivers. Aravilla has been ahead of the curve throughout the pandemic, placing the health of the residents and staff as the first priority, as it should be but isn’t necessarily happening elsewhere. GREAT LOOKING PLACE... NICE PEOPLE. QUESTION WHETHER "OVER NIGHT" CARE IS ROBUST ENOUGH

Very nice and clean. Great dinner menu. Staff and residents were very nice. Accomodations similar to Atria. Cost would be about $7000.00/month for a 2-bedroom unit. Way above what we can afford. Still like Atria better.

I completed a rather lengthy investigation of numerous assisted living facilities in the Clearwater Largo area before narrowing my search to a few that looked nice and had good reviews. Then I happened to talk to a few neighbors who has placed their loved ones in Cabot Cove and were extremely pleased, thus my search ended here. Our mother moved into Cabot Cove three weeks ago and we couldn't be more pleased. I actually moved into her room with her for the first two nights to help her climatize and get used to her new surroundings. Because of this, I can report, first hand, what an excellent facility this is. Not only are the hallways wonderfully appointed, with lovely furniture and art work, the building itself smells fresh and clean, and is spotless in every way. The meals are served with style, and are delicious as well. Residents chose their three meals, the day before , for the next day, and there is always a choice, as well as an option to have an alternative if they don't care for the options suggested. But by far the most incredible thing about Cabot Cove are the staff members. The staff here seem to truly care about the residents, from Nathan the most adorable and kind social director and 'fix all', to the numerous wait staff (we love [name removed]), to the kind and efficient cleaning lady, who takes care of my moms room and laundry once a week. The front staff are remarkable, from [name removed], the director, who reassured us when signing up, that mom would be well taken care of and to [name removed] and [name removed] who work the front desks . You ladies do a fantastic job of making us feel comfortable with the care mom is now receiving in her new home. Even the outings provided for the residents seem well thought out. Thanks for everything you do!

My mother is very happy there. The staff is great.
