It's very, very pleasant here, they give my sister-in-law medication twice a day. Clean her unit once a week on Saturday and they have a service that will wash her clothes for a small fee. They have great food, I have ate here 6 times. You get 2 glasses of wine or beer with every meal. The service time is from 7am to 7pm and can order anything you want. They make food like filet mignon, pork, fried chicken, asparagus, baked potato. sandwiches and all kinds of salads. Non residents pay $11 to eat with residents. They have in house Bingo, games, and movies everyday. On Fridays they have happy hour. She is doing fabulous and we are all happy the community.

I am very happy with the care that the staff have been providing for my mother. My mother and other people that have had meals with her say that the food is good. The staff try to encourage my mother to participate in activities in a level of comfort for her. Overall, i can say i am happy with everything there are no complaints.

The facility was open and bright. The community, staff and residents, were very warm and welcoming. Our family was very impressed and would highly recommend this community.

We placed our Uncle in Atria a couple of weeks ago and he has adjusted very well. It is clean and the staff is so helpful. He has not been able to participate in much since he is going through radiation on his ear for the next 3 weeks every day except weekends. It makes him very tired so he has pretty much stayed in his room which he loves. It is not an inexpensive place but it is beautiful and as long as we can afford it he will stay there. I can't wait until he feels better and he can appreciate their beautiful grounds and good food. They cannot seem to do enough for him and he rests very well there. We are so happy.

Very nice place - the favorite so far! Room size is good and room has a private patio. Small kitchenette in the room and a vanity outside the bathroom. Mom and I had lunch and food was terrific - no set eating times so you can eat when you want. Nice and convenient. Everyone knew residents well. Whole facility was very clean and staff friendly. More expensive than Brookdale, but not as far away (1 hour drive for us!). Strong consideration at this point.

I was very pleased with the tour my loved one and I received of this community. The administration was very welcoming and made sure to answer any questions my loved one and I had in detail. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this facility.

The tour guide to begin with was courteous with me and answered any questions or concerns that i had. The layout of the community was nice. The staff met along my tour were attentive. We spoke about the food options that were available and the various activities offered.

This community is great. The staff and the caring are wonderful. We are happy with the care that is received by everyone. They offer a great variety of meals that are appealing. Alot of great activities are offered. I would highly recommend this community to other families

Friendly and welcoming place for seniors!

My mother is a new resident at Atria Plainview, and the formerly isolated, tedious life she has lived the past several years (especially since no longer driving) has done a 180! She's busy morning, noon and night, taking advantage of the many varied activities offered. She sounds bubbly and enthusiastic whenever we speak. The staff has been wonderful in helping her make the transition from independent living, and many of the residents have been quite friendly and welcoming. Other than the high cost, which unfortunately is unavoidable, the only slight downside is the food, but we've been told they're getting a new kitchen manager from another Atria who (we hope!) will turn that around for the better. Overall, we're very happy with this facility.

My mother had a flood in her home and we needed to find a safe place for her to stay while renovations were happening. So far this has worked out great for my mother and her family. My mother has met some dynamite women to socialize with and we are planning for her to stay.

It is a wonderful facility. Friendly, clean, full of nice people and accommodating staff. the biggest obstacle is the cost.

This is by far the best looking facility of its kind that I have ever seen, and I would encourage anyone who is thinking of relocation for themselves or a family member to see this particular residence first. I doubt if you will see anything to compare with it. From the excellent restaurant cuisine, to the gorgeous indoor pool, to the movie theater--yes, movie theater!--it would be hard not to imagine that you are in a five star lodge or on a luxury cruise ship. But here's the main reason that I am writing this particular review: the extraordinary actions of the executive staff that I have personally witnessed. Prior to visiting my elderly dad a few weeks ago, I called the facility, only to find that the head of the residence, Nicole, was manning the receptionist's phone. When I arrived, there she was, right behind the front desk. Something was obviously up. After asking about it, Nicole explained to me that one of her overnight workers had an emergency, so instead of burdening another hard working staff member to come in in the middle of the night, she came to the rescue herself. A service ethic like this speaks volumes for the kind of executive staff that this place has, and for the caliber of the management at this facility. As well, this type of dedication, compassion and a sense of responsibility sets an example for the entire staff, and I have seen these same qualities reflected in many of the workers here. No facility will take the place of one's home, but if you are in the position to have to seek out a residence for yourself or a loved one, you won't find better than this. I frankly feel blessed that my dad is in such a wonderful place.

I really liked this community when touring. I loved the vibrations of the place. I found out the chef is a former professional cook. They told me that they would not be able to provide the care we needed. They would not be a good fit for my parents.

This place has a very nice staff and were very helpful. My loved one is really trying to transition and the staff is doing a great job about helping out in this time of need. They have a lot of great activities for the residents. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The staff was good at this community. The food was good as far as I could see. This place is terrific and I really enjoy working with the people here. This place is like a cruise ship with all the options that they provide. My loved one really likes it here. This place is better for people that still can do for themselves.

My family and I liked it very much. But most importantly our father liked Atria and we have already made arrangements for him to move in!

My loved one had a great experience when she lived at this community. The staff was all very kind and always willing to lend a helping hand to make sure her needs where met. They provided fun and exciting activities and always made sure the residents had something on there schedule for them to do for the day.

The community is absolutely beautiful, it has recently been updated with all new furniture and lots of renovations. The staff is excellent at watching over my dad and helping him stay busy with fun activities throughout his day. They have a variety of food on there menu that my loved one said is all delicious.

They were an awesome place to visit. This was not in a good location for my in-laws and it was further away than needed. The sales manager did a great job giving us a tour and they were informative.
