My mom moved into Normandy Park Senior Living a few months back and it has been the greatest gift for her! She is involved in all the activities and looks forward to all of the outings and experiences that she is making with her new friends. The care staff have just made her feel so empowered and willing to participate in her own health, that is something that she has never done before! The executive director has been a joy to work with she is always available for anything I have needed in this process it was such an easy move. She talked with my mom when we decided to move her, mom has been resistant to move for years! One conversation with [name removed] and she is moving in! Mom is overall healthier now because she was not eating right at home and now she is eating all the things she is supposed to. The housekeeping lady always has her room spick and span ! It is like a transformation in mom, her mood, health and attitude towards life ! I would recommend to move your family here!

It seems to be a resident focused, well run facility. Otherwise they don't take Medicaid. I would recommend San Marino Retirement Community to others looking.

Everything at San Marino is great minus the means and dining service - they have a repetitive menu with a cafeteria - large batch taste and scent

San Marino Retirement Community was a good match for my mom who is still very active at age 90. The apartments are nice and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Meal times are somewhat flexible. The facility is nice and well maintained with beautiful outside area with gardens and walking paths. Overall a good choice for a somewhat reasonable price in the current pricey market.

San Marino is a lovely community. Yes, I wolf recommend it.

This past May the community had a senior prom for the residents who were taken on a short 30 passenger limo ride, met at the front doors with people taking flash photography and the red carpet. Later there was a dance with delicious desserts. Amazing

Look at other facilities first and go to San Marino after. It will be the last stop. There was no pressure. They were just happy to help. I know several people who had been at San Marino and were happy there. Value was very important. Your loved one will be happy here.

We chose Normandy Park for the staff and their friendliness and commitment to the residents. The only reason for the lower ratings is that they seem to be short staffed since my dad entered the home. Everyone works hard, but sometimes communication falls through.

Friendly and many many activities. Definitely would recommend. And they are very friendly and I have no problems knowing that my mom is in a safe and secure place.

Mom was well taken care of. We are very thankful that your people were able to make her last days comfortable. For the most part, everything was clean. I was disappointed to find the brand new sheets I'd ordered for her stuffed into the closet and she was still on the same ones, which were left on the bed after she died and smelled like pee. We were also very disappointed to find that Mom had COVID when we visited the last time (late August), and no one bothered to mention it! Luckily none of the family we visited afterward (or us) came down with it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rating for meals is Unknown, as I was not present during meals, and the rating for activities is unknown, as she did not participate. It was very expensive, but I have nothing to compare it to.

I personally toured 12 diff communities in search of a home for my mom. San Marino is by far the best value for the money. The staff is always helpful and friendly in all departments . They offer a wide variety of daily activities and frequent special events which fosters a healthy social community . The living spaces provide residents with a home and family feel . The beautiful gardens are an added bonus

My experience with fountain court was great. Their staff is extremely gentle, caring and patient. When I first brought my father into Fountain Court I was relieved at the cleanliness of the facility. During my fathers stay I noticed that the staff was patient and thorough with my father. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and available for their residents. When my father was not feeling well enough to go to the dining hall they would bring his food to his room. They cared for my father, showered and helped dress him. He was not an easy patient but they showed care and concern for him as if he was a family member. I was very fortunate to have this experience as I had spent a lot of time reviewing other locations, this one was the best. I thought Fountain Court was also very affordable. The pricing was well explained and I did not feel nickled and dimed through the whole process. I felt like this facility was very fair with its add-on services. The facility is in Maple Valley and has a clean exterior, which matches with its interior. Whenever there was an issue with my father the staff would call me to update me. I felt the staff made it a priority to include me into everything my father needed as well any discomfort my father had was also communicated to me. During doctor visits the staff would also assist in taking my father to and from those appointments if I was unable to make it. The facility has several different rooms, from studio to one and two bedrooms. My father had a studio which would fit a bed, a TV and some chairs for visitors. There was a fridge, sink and storage for his food and snacks. His bathroom had a shower and was big enough for a wheelchair. Taking care of a loved one is hard and emotionally draining. Fountain Court made me feel so much better. I felt he was in very good hands and I knew that if my father needed anything, they would reach out to me. I certainly felt as if my father was safe and well taken care of at Fountain Court. He was always in good spirits and even had made friends. His group of friends would always eat meals together and hang out speaking with the other residents. I would highly recommend this place.

I've had a good experience at San Marino Retirement Community. The staff are friendly. The food and dining experience are top notch. This is a community I would recommend you review to see if it will be a good fit for your loved one.

The people that work at Normandy Park Senior Living truly care about the people living there and their wellbeing. They treat the residents with kindness, compassion and friendliness. Normandy Park is a facility that I would absolutely recommend to anybody who is looking for care for their loved ones.

What I really like about Parkview Assisted Living is that the staff are friendly, and there always seems to be an activity or two every week.

This is a great community with very nice staff. They have a nice environment. The food is good. The location is close to friends and family. There is a hospital a few blocks away along with a pharmacy. They have lots of parking available.

San Marino Retirement was amazing. The staff were REALLY good, with lots of energy. There were lots of things to do. It was a beautiful campus. The only downslide was it was not quite as new on the inside. But they were definitely our runner-up.

They were super accommodating, especially after my loved one got sick. The décor was really nice, and the facility was really clean. They have this beautiful garden outside that was just amazing. That was probably one of the coolest things - the garden and the landscaping. We didn't see anything like that at any of the other places we toured. And the food I tried was good.

I think it was an excellent experience. Understand that it's assisted living and not nursing care. So just be sure that you go over with the admitting people all the things your loved one needs to make sure that it's a good fit. But for assisted living, It was a good place. The staff are amazing, and the meals I had were excellent. My mom told me that breakfast was the best, and the noon meal is good, but supper was just okay.
