We were very satisfied with them and they did a great job. The community itself was always very clean and it always smelled fresh. The staff was always very friendly as well. The care they provided went over and above to ensure my husband was engaged and taken care of. Compared to the other communities we looked at, the care and quality at Carrington Cottage At Botetourt were much higher so we do think it was worth the somewhat elevated price.

[Name removed] was professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The facility was clean and the staff friendly.

Very nice place I loved the courtyard which provided an open airy space! I was able to speak with a resident who was so nice and really loved living here.

Toured on Saturday. Everyone seemed very happy and the staff seemed very nice. Will definitely keep as an option for my father in law to look at.

My dad has done so well here, They helped us find the furniture for his room as well as set it up for us so that when he moved in his room was set. The staff is so attentive of all the residents, they keep a close eye on them as individuals, they make sure their well being comes first. Dad is very active in all the activities and they have outside activities and concerts he likes being a part of too. Dad is starting to become very social, he enjoys the food and has started to gain some weight which is great. I could not have found a more perfect place for my dad.

This is a nice community with a caring staff. My mother is doing well since her move here, and overall I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. The staff is great, they check on her very often. The aids are taking good care of her, and her needs. They do a good job with the cleanliness around the community. They provide nice meals, and good activities for the residents. This community is working out well for my family, and I would recommend it.

We are very happy with the care from this community. The community is clean and very nice for her to enjoy. The menu is appealing and she is happy with all of the meals. The activities are wonderful and she is making good progress here. I have commended this community to other families for the excellent care and value for loved ones.

I like the care that is given my by the great staff. We like the community for always being clean and maintained. It's nice to know that she does the variety of healthy meals. They offer her activities that she seems to enjoy with the other residents. We would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.

The entire staff is extremely friendly and they check on my loved one often. They offer daily activities including bingo, cards and an exercise class. They recently changed cooks and the food has improved. My main concern is that the two side doors are not locked. This community is located close to two emergency rooms.

I like the care here for my father. The staff keeps me informed on his progress. The community is clean and I like knowing that I can tell others that my father is in a great place with great care. The meals are very appealing. They do have several activities to enjoy. I highly recommend this community for the value of care for a loved one.

This is a good community for my brother. The staff is very good. He seems happy with the food. Alot of activities are offered. I would recommend this community for good care .

Although the food could be of a better consistency, the staff is wonderful (at least on the assisted living side, where my mother-in-law is). It seems that the people on the nursing home side are also very friendly and helpful. My mother-in-law, who is quite demanding, is getting used to living there after the sudden death of her husband. Since she is legally blind, she could not remain in her home of about 40 years, so getting used to depending on others is not easy for her. But Keri [removed], the director of the assisted living side, is making it as easy as possible for her, which we appreciate. We also appreciate the pricing; the best in Baton Rouge!

Everything is good at The Atrium Assisted Living. They keep her pretty busy with activities. Mom has adjusted really well. The staff are very friendly at this facility. I have no complaints except the price could definitely be more reasonable. It has been a good experience overall.

For value I want to rate them a ten! I love it over there! I think the director is there 24 hours a day – she’s so involved! I think the food is excellent. It’s really clean. Everyone is helpful. Whatever services you need they get them for you. They followed up with everything. They were so helpful when I brought my loved one here.

It had a clean smell and it was nice. He seems to be enjoying it, and he was telling us he was going on their bus, and getting out again. If they haven't seen him out and about they will come check on him. Those things alone make me feel better. They have a cleaning staff to come and clean up for residents as well as the common areas. The staff knows him by name.

It is a smaller facility, only about 90 residents and we like that. All of the rooms have been remodeled. They went through a hurricane recently and were shut down for 6 weeks. They have done a great job getting things back up and running again. They even had a welcome back party for all of the residents and their families the day after they opening. I think it is a great place and I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

First, let me say that A Place for Mom helped to get me started on my hunt for the facility that would suit me best. We chose Amber Terrace in Baton Rouge because of location, pricing and Flexible care levels. I’m liking it, the only drawback is the strict guidelines due to COVID. It is what it is...these folks take our safety very seriously. Because of this, staff turnover is very high, but the the hero’s who have stuck it out are fabulous and do their very best to give the friendly care we all need.

My mother is a resident of Amber Terrace. I have to say she is the “mayor “ of the facility! She loves her home and knows everyone. She plays bridge once a week and enjoys socials. She has a lovely apartment, good neighbors, and is well taken care of.
