Anthem Memory Care

Our family had an in person tour and it was a very nice tour, but they were just not able to accept our loved one due to psychiatric health issues.

We chose Harvester Place because I liked the layout of the facility, we heard the food was good, and the staff were super friendly. We also liked that it strictly focused on memory care. I would recommend to others families looking.

This community feels very much like a family and a home. It does not feel like a center or institutionalized at all. The residents are always engaged in activities and doing something. Sometimes when I visit my loved one does not want to visit because she is doing something with her friends. In other communities my loved one was down and lonely and she is the happiest here that I have seen here in years. Even living a lone she did not have the joy that she has now.

We had a great tour experience with Emerald Place and liked it a lot. It came down to the wire and it was a very hard decision to make for us.

Porter Place memory care is an excellent facility. The thing that sticks out to us most is the staff members, they are all so kind and caring towards the residents. I would absolutely recommend this facility to other families looking.

The facility is absolutely beautiful. I am most impressed with the commitment / passion / professionalism of the entire staff.

Great atmosphere and location. This building is brightly lighted and clean. We are happy dad is here. He loves the men's club.

I actually work at a neighboring facility and we had a resident who was a bit beyond our capability to care for. So we reached out to autumn leaves and they were able to help transition this resident and provide great service as we spoke to the family and they are very clean. Thank you!

The most difficult decision I ever had to make was moving my Mom in Memory Care. But all of you made it easier. The compassion you showed not just my Mom, but to me - counseling me thru my tears and guilty feelings. I loved the videos and photos you shared, reassuring me that my Mom was active and happy. Many days my Mom would say "it's not so bad here" which was high praise from her and comforting for me. It takes a very special person to work with seniors with memory loss - patience, empathy, warm-heartedness and of course a sense of humor! All of you have those qualities and more. I felt a sense of family at Autumn Leaves. A place where my Mom was treated with respect and kindness. I miss seeing all of you. Thanks for taking such good care of my Mom - and me!

We looked at so many places for our Dad and a lot of them either had a lot of up charges or had assisted living and memory care and with my Dad’s dementia we needed staff that really knew how to care for him. They have more than lives up to our hope for a good, safe, loving facility.

I appreciate the services provided by directors, nurses, and staff. They provide excellent services for my mother. They are dedicated, patient, and sincere

My husband came in very poor shape from neglect at another facility. He is happy and healthy now. It is such a loving environment. You fell at home there.

We chose Willow Springs because they had availability at the time that we were looking, and they were also willing to accept my husband, who has lewy body dementia. The rooms here are all shared rooms, and there is plenty of space in them. They do not encourage televisions in the residents' rooms because they could become isolated from activities. They want them out of their rooms participating in things with others as much as possible and only using their rooms for naps and sleeping. I would recommend them.

This is the most expensive community in Albuquerque when it comes to vale for cost, but they give amazing care. The cleanliness of the community is very good, the friendliness of the staff and all of their care services are very good. The meals are excellent the nurses are telling us our loved one continues to gain weight which is great. Unfortunately our loved one cannot remember what activities they had, but the nurses tell us all the time our loved one loves getting involved in backing cookies and socializing with the other residents.

If you have a family member that needs memory care, I would recommend this community to others. They are friendly and supportive. One thing that appealed to us is the music, and one of the residents plays the piano. This allows other residents to do sing alongs. They even have quiz sessions for the residents to participate in. They have both physicals and occupational therapy if needed by residents. The community has birthday celebrations for the residents. Over the holidays they did virtual visits with families and residents to keep them in contact. This was great and I appreciated that.

We have been blown away with the experience. The community is proactive and communicative within the internal staff and families. My loved one was recently in the hospital the communication from Emerald Place towards the family and the hospital was outstanding. The community was thinking ahead and helped the family through the transition. They do try and keep things fresh and active on food. They bring food in for the residents on a regular basis to keep the options available. The staff are all nice. They returns emails and calls quickly and any questions or concerns you have they are met.

The community is a safe environment. It is relatively affordable. The communication was good. The food was tasty and my loved one ate well. It was nutritious and just enough for the residents to enjoy.

The staff members are awesome, they have been very responsive and we are happy with the care services. Our loved one appears to enjoy the meals. The activities are still pretty limited but they do send us things on what they are offering so they are trying their best.

We chose Porter Place because of the ease of getting him in and the overall friendliness and willingness to work with us. They are very transparent, willing to work with you, and compassionate and concerned. The nurses are not shy about calling if there are any changes or concerns. They would do things like zooms, phone calls, emails, etc. so they were great with communication. I would tell others if you have any doubts, you shouldn't. The level of safety that they provide is excellent. It is pricey but what you get as far as the care in the long run when you consider it it is worth it. I would highly recommend them to others families.
