Anthem Memory Care

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would. My stepmom, brothers, and myself were very hesitant to put my dad into a memory care facility. However, from the start, the Executive Director [name removed] was extraordinary and so supportive! She gave us time and information we needed to feel more comfortable. She is also great with the residents as she enthusiastically makes time to interact with the residents regularly. We genuinely feel like my dad has received the best care from everybody there. [name removed] and all of the employees—the office staff, the nurses, the caretakers, the activity personal, and even the chefs show a true interest and care in the residents and families. All of the employees work as a team and pitch in when necessary! When your loved one goes there, they are cared for in a gentle, adult manner and he/she gains new friends from other residents and the employees. As a family member, you are treated with respect and love; just as if you are one of their own personal family members. Since the maximum amount of residents is smaller than competitor’s, you get to know the other residents and their families quickly. It is a natural support group! The facility designed nicely and looks/feels like a home. It is tidy and clean. Thank you Charter of Glen Ellyn for making a tough journey easier! I would highly recommend Charter of Glen Ellyn!

They do a great job and have been taking care of my mother for a year and a half now. We could not ask for a better place. We chose this community because we liked the attentiveness and caring way the staff take care of the resident's individual needs. I would recommend this community.

The staff at Greenridge is professional courteous and knowledgeable with memory care. My family member receives excellent and loving care. My loved one has resident in other communities and this has been the best community by far. I would recommend this community.

It is a well staffed and well managed community. it very is clean. The have been very responsive any time I have had a concern. I chose this community because when I walked in the the person who showed me around addressed almost all of the residents bey their first names and to me the shows caring and empathy. The have a wonderful chef and food is great. Without a doubt, I would recommend this community

I have no regrets for choosing Charter to take of my wife. The nurses, caregivers, and entire staff are very attentive and kind. They have a robust resident activity program. Building upkeep and cleanliness are excellent. Food service is quite good. On the few occasions when there's been a problem (no one's perfect) it's been recognized and quickly resolved.

My mother-in-law has resided at Harvester Place for over two years. She has Dementia, and has become progressively worse. The care she has received has been outstanding. They not only care for the body, but the mind. We, as her family, are kept apprised of her condition. This has been especially important during these past several months while we've been going through the Covid-19 pandemic. Mom's been having trouble dealing with not seeing anyone, and phone calls seem to agitate her. Everyone in the family calls her, but she doesn't seem to understand why we're not coming to see her. It's a difficult time. I really appreciate all the caring the people at Harvester provide for her.

Wonderful, caring staff who looks out for each individual and their needs. Along with the size, layout and cleanliness of the facility, this is five star living for my Mom.

I moved my aunt into Harvester a little over a year ago. Her best friend was already there and we were able to get their suites next to each other! The first several months, my aunt had a lot of medical needs and trips back and forth to the hospital and rehab and then back to Harvester. The staff was amazing with both my aunt and helping me to navigate this new territory for me! They communicated continually with myself and the hospital and rehab center so the transitions for my aunt went smoothly. When she returned to Harvester, it was definitely a 'homecoming' and all the staff welcomed her back and helped her to adjust. The atmosphere there is very open, friendly, caring and loving. I am extremely happy with Harvester!

The staff at Greenridge are caring, kind and competent. The place is very clean and thoughtfully set up for the population it serves. Greenridge has done an amazing job navigating activities and communication between residents and loved ones while conscientously following safety precautions during the pandemic. Greenridge has proven to give care to the residents as if they are their loved ones.

I have been experience with many facilities and this is one of the best. Their approach to the safety and well being of the patients is second to none. During this COVID time the administrator has lead the charge with the maintenance/housekeeping staff along with the rest of the staff have done and over the top job of keeping the patients safe and happy. This is evident by the 0% of COVID cases that Porter Place has had!!! Very rare at this time. The administrator has stayed on top of all the new information regarding the virus and has been working 24 hours a day to make sure everyone is safe. This is the type of person I want overseeing the place where my family goes. Also the nursing staff is calling family 1 time a week to give families an update on their loved one when no one can visit and are available during all shifts and happy to fields any questions families may have. Activities has been doing Skype calls with residents and families and recently had a parade to keep people in though with their family. But what is even more heart warming is that on a daily basis all staff treat each and very person like a family member of their own. Highly recommended.

During this difficult time for everyone i am so pleased that the staff are taking such wonderful care of my mother, the posts show how well each person is doing, the weekly updates are wonderful and thank you for the car parade for families. i am confident that my loved one is safe and happy and that means so much to me right now. cant wait to visit and hug you all.

It is an overall small community where the residents get all the care and attention they need. They have a good ratio of caregiver to resident. They have good communication. Food is good. They have lots of space for residents to walk safely and they have a secure outdoor space for them to use as well.

Unfortunately, my husband passed away 1 month and 2 days after he was admitted. Due to visiting restrictions, I spent 2 1/2 hours at the facility during that time. The staff was very attentive on those 2 visits. We had 3-4 video calls and those were handled nicely. During his last days (2 day illness), there were two nurses who devoted their hours to caring for him. Information coming from the facility was done in a nice manner to inform family members about their facility and corona viris concerns.

I am so glad I found Chelsea Place, they are wonderful. The cleanliness was top notch, they have a great ventilation system, being an HVAC guy I noticed this feature. They are tied in with the best hospice providers. The Head Nurse is a true angle with wings.The rooms are great. The menu made me want to eat there. The only negative is the the parking is limited.

It was hard to move my mother anywhere but she is very happy at Grace Point Place. She is safe and that puts my mind at ease. She is active morning until night with a variety of activities.

I was very impressed on how happy the residents were when I had my visit. This place felt like a loving place to live.

The staff here is very friendly. Dad enjoys the friendships he has made with staff members as well as others who liver here. This is a "home setting." It does not feel like a clinical atmosphere. At all. It smells fresh. It is clean. The lighting is bright. The hallways are long for him to walk and stay active. Very happy here.

Harvester Place is a wonderful community! Our family recently toured this facility and we were so impressed! [Name removed], he community relations director could not have been more wonderful. [Name removed] was so professional, polite and spend so much time answering all of our questions — in addition, the entire staff was so friendly and engaging with the residents. A five star community!

This community is great. The building is nice and clean. You might not find all the frill as in other places but they are the EXPERTS in dementia care. They focus on providing personalized care for each resident. This feel like a family. This feel like a home.
