My mother lived at Silvergate for seven years. We all loved it!! She was safe and well cared for at all times! There were great activities to keep her busy She enjoyed the exercise classes with [name removed] and other fun events and activities. We always attended the Thursday evening Church Gathering with Mom led by Pastor [name removed]. It was the highlight of her week, The rooms and accommodations are wonderful! Three full meals in the dining room every day and delicious buffets for all the special occasions. The staff and caregivers are friendly and they become part of our Silvergate Family after you get to know them! I always told Mom that "when it was my time to leave my home", that I would come and live with her at Silvergate. She would always smile and chuckle. I can't say enough...

I could not be happier with Silvergate. I know that my mom is in safe hands and has all she needs. Whenever there is an issue, I get a call.

I couldn’t ask for a nicer home for my dear friend. The warmth and caring of every single staff member is outstanding. The quality of the facility and the level of care would be far more expensive in another location, but Fallbrook is perfect for me. My friend feels that he has found his forever home, and that makes me so happy.

You never have to be alone. You can always find someone to do something with. There are so many social activity choices, and you gain a whole new family at Silvergate. I wanted to make the choice of where to live instead of having someone make it for me. My family greatly appreciates me making the decision for myself instead of my sons having to make it for me. They felt relieved by that.

Silvergate In Fallbrook has been a wonderful experience for our family. When my parents knew it was time to move from their home to a retirement community, it was their first choice. My brother and I checked it out and fell in love with the place. The staff is so kind and caring and [name removed] was the best at providing us information and answering all of our concerns. My parents have been there four months now and are adjusting beautifully. So glad to have Silvergate as an choice!

Silvergate is a lovely community. The staff is patient, caring, and they make a genuine effort to get to know the residents individually. The dining room serves wonderful restaurant style meals. The residents are friendly and welcoming as well. Silvergate's activity calendar is full of a variety of social, cultural, and exercise based offerings to meet the needs and interests of the residents. The buildings are clean, the grounds are meticulous and inviting, and the apartments are clean and well maintained. Moving into a retirement/independent living community can be an emotional transition on many levels, but Silvergate has done a wonderful job of making the transition comfortable and positive for my parents. I am so grateful to have this outstanding community a few minutes away from me here in Fallbrook where I know my parents are surrounded by caring people in a beautiful, safe, engaging environment!

I have worked in this industry for 23 years as a vendor, and my experience with Silvergate tops them all. It is clean, and has a friendly environment and the staff seems dedicated to making this facility the best in the business. Residents seem very happy and content. I would definitely recommend Silvergate to anyone looking for a comfortable retirement home.

My 94 year old mother recently experienced a flood in her home, which caused major water damage. When we toured SilverGate, they had a respite room available within days. The staff was exceptional - they sent her flowers after her visit, including chocolate and orchids because she had said they were her favorite. The staff watches my mom closely - both for her safety and happiness, but also for her preferences in eating and life style. Every staff member is kind, helpful and cooperative and always has time for whatever you need, even if it's just for listening. My mother has been so happy there, that she has decided to stay, and is taking a one bedroom apartment. She hosted her bridge group there today, and told her best friend that she loves is there. On top of that, we, her daughters, are encouraged to come visit, and look forward to the opportunity. We visit for meals, which are delicious and very reasonably priced. We had high hopes for a retirement residence for our mother, and Silvergate has far exceeded our hopes for our mother.

Having lost my home in the Lilac fire I looked at Silvergate for a new beginning. Having lost everything they offered me a model apartment until I was able to shop for furniture. I have been a resident for almost 2 years and have found my home place. It is a kind and caring residence with wonderful care and meals.

After reviewing and touring many Assisted Living facilities, we chose Silvergate in Fallbrook, CA for my mother. Our main reason was the staff was very warm, friendly and accommodating. The move from my mother's home to her studio apartment was seemless. She was especially grateful that she could bring her cat. Due to mobility issues, she loved the wheelchair service that brought her to the dining room, hair salon and the many activities. During her last few weeks of life she was transferred to the 24hr care building called "the Suites". I have nothing but fond memories of the wonderful care that was provided for my 100 year old mother. Without reservation, I can highly recommend Silvergate in Fallbrook, CA!

Although my mother ended up not moving there due to illness, we were both very impressed with the facility, their services and most especially, [name removed]. [Name removed] far exceeded my expectations for compassion and customer service. She took a genuine personal interest in my mother's well being, which in my experience, is an exceedingly rare quality. Our experience with [name removed] was fairly brief, but her professionalism and caring left a lasting impact. If I owned a senior living facility, [name removed] would be the first person I would call to run it.

My experience coming to Silvergate had always been a positive one. From the moment you walk through the front door you’re greeted with friendly smiling faces! The lobby and patio area are warm and welcoming, its a great place just to sit and relax and maybe do a little people watching. Whenever I’ve walked by the activity room there always seems to be something going on whether it’s an exercise class, a competitive game of corn hole or a movie in the theater. It’s nice to see the residents engaged and laughing! The staff is kind and always ready to assist with whatever you need.

My 90 year old mom moved into Silvergate under hospice care following a severe illness. Thanks in large part to the attentive care of the nurses and medtechs she is no longer on hospice and is thriving with minimal assistance. The quality of the facility, the dining experience, the staff and the residents of Silvergate all rate five stars. It is a wonderful community of people. Mom actually feels loved by the caregivers and we are blessed to be part of the Silvergate Family.

My wife and I searched for a facility for a brother-in-law after he suffered a brain injury. He was in memory care for about a year and then moved to assisted living following some improvement. Initially, we chose Silvergate Fallbrook because it featured a bright naturally lit atmosphere which seemed much more inviting than some facilities we toured. We later discovered that the staff is very involved with the residents and provide care based on the needs and desires of the residents and they strive to keep residents involved in various activities. Transportation is provided allowing some relief for active families that can't provide for all these needs. There's a library, movie room with snacks, wii games, field trips, happy hour, and great food. This is really a first class facility.

My mother has been at Silvergate for 6 years now and we are so happy to have her in such a wonderful place! She is safe there, well fed and there are so many activities for her to choose from to help keep her active. The staff is attentive and kind. If I ever have any questions, they are answered promptly by management. Silvergate San Marcos is the perfect size community for Mom. It is not too big as she would get lost navigating the facility. The classes and activities are perfect for her to get to know and make friends. She is never lonely and enjoys her meals at a table for 4 so there is always interesting conversation going on. She will continue to reside there as long as she is able. She is happy and that's what matters most to our family!
