Great place to live!! We all agree!

This community was nice to me and my loved one there were just a few things that did not line up that made another community a priority.

The staff has been consistently friendly and responsive. Special mention to to the fine work of [name removed] and his maintenance staff and likewise for the excellent effort of [name removed] in bringing first class and frequent entertainment to Silvergate. We are extremely impressed and appreciative. we are only familiar with the nearby senior facilities, but feel Silvergate is a real cut above the others in this area and would be surprised if anything within the San Diego area could measure up to the standards set here. All the special rooms on the first and second level are outstanding and provide the residents with plenty of extra space to enjoy the activities provided like movies, Tai Chi, cards, reading, etc,. Likewise, the pool, spa, putting green, Bocce Ball court and outside entertainment space at the pool are also very impressive. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. This is a wonderful facility that we are proud to call home. Everything is first class.

They were the best for us. I wish my loved one went there sooner. They have great activities. The care they give to the residents is fantastic. The food was good for our loved one. The community was near other communities and near centers.

My father moved to Silvergate two years ago and is very happy there. The Silvergate staff is pleasant, helpful and caring and they treat him well. Silvergate management does a good job of keeping us informed on matters related to the facility and any impact on residents.

During this pandemic the staff has done an incredible job keeping the virus out. I miss being able to go in, but this too will pass.

My mom loved living at Silvergate. She made so many wonderful friends from both the other residents and staff. In looking for a facility, we were immediately impressed by how accommodating they were to want to make my mom feel comfortable and at home. They are very caring and concerned, taking special effort to make each resident feel welcome. They also have continuous input through all sorts of resident opinion/suggestion programs. There are a wide variety of activities including entertainment and happy hours. There activity staff and volunteers work to keep the residents engaged and having fun. The food is delicious. We ate many holiday meals there. The proximity to the shopping center is a blessing. It is a short walk for the residents so they can maintain their independence as most do not drive. They can run to the stores, drycleaner, Starbucks, or even one of the many restaurants. The staff is very concerned about the welfare of their residents, and very attentive to issues and problems. The staff is helpful and communicates well with the family if there is a concern. The concierge medical assistance piece is perfect when you don't need full assisted living but you do need some assistance whether temporary or permanent. Oh and I cannot forget to mention the onsite beauty salon which was a mandatory requirement for my mom. We are so happy that we found Silvergate for my mom and more importantly that my mom spent many happy years living at "her cruise ship without water" as we would call it.

Superb assisted living community. You deserve extra stars for all of the Covid requirements. Hats off to [name removed]. He is the “captain of the ship”. Always professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. More kudos to [name removed], LVN who is clinically competent and knows client challenges Thank you for taking care of my Aunt ! Of, of course the food is always great!!

My mother moved into Silvergate in January 2020. The Silvergate team has been extremely helpful, responsive and supportive of my mother and with me. I live out of the area and greatly appreciate their kindness in replying to my questions and concerns. When the pandemic shutdown happened, I was very happy to hear of the steps Silvergate was taking, and continues to take, to keep the residents healthy & safe, as well as their team. My mom has been very happy at Silvergate. She's made friends, enjoys the social interactions, the activities (such as they are during the pandemic), and not having to deal with day-to-day things like house cleaning. I recommend Silvergate quite highly.

I've lived in Silvergate San Marcos Assisted Living for a few years now. I will never leave this place! I've grown fond of the staff-caregivers, wait staff, front desk, and the management. Most of the employees here have been with the company for many years. That speaks for itself! High staff retention, high quality service, great activities, and exercise program. One of the former manager leads the exercise in the morning and it is quite a work out. She really gets us going and keeping us active. The food is wonderful and very well presented. I can't wait for my turn to have dinner with the head of the managers. The facility is very clean. I've been to a different facility before, compare to the other facility, Silvergate is very clean and well kept.

The property's exterior has just been refreshed with new paint and awnings, the staff is friendly and welcoming, the Executive Directorirector and Marketing Director enjoy their jobs and enjoy speaking with the residents and prospective residents and employees and family members. The staff truly care and enjoy engaging with the residents. There are a variety of unique activities available every day and there are plenty of quiet places for individuals or small groups to enjoy. The smaller size makes the entire community truly feel like a community, where everyone is in a safe place to be themselves and have their voices heard.

My mother was a resident at Silvergate. She had slight dimentia yet the care she was provided afforded her the ability to have as much independence as possible but with the care she needed. I oftentimes visited her and had the opportunity to join her in the dining room. It was bright, with excellent staff and even better food. I'm so thankful to the entire team at Silvergate for caring for my mom so well. I would highly recommend Silvergate Memory and Assisted Living services.

Silvergate is one of the best Assisted Living in San Diego. Residents are well taking good care off.

I love my apartment and the staff are friendly. The food is delicious. The caregivers and nurses are wonderful. What more can I ask for? I’m happy here.

My father has been here since February 2020 and absolutely loves it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. And they are doing a great job of keeping residents safe during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Leaving my home and moving into Silvergate was not an easy decision. The buildings were beautifully decorated and maintained, the landscaping lovely, the menus mouth watering, But...would I like it, would the food be good, etc.? I shouldn’t have worried. The food is delicious, the staff and other residents so friendly, and there are so many activities that I can’t keep up with them. I love being part of the Silvergate family.

Silvergate is where I wish I could live when I require assisted living! Everyone is so kind and caring and my parents are very happy and feel cared for and safe here. Communication is top notch, as well as the food and residences. I am so very grateful I found this facility! [name removed] was an amazing support and I could not have made it through the placement process without her!

Fine dining while social distancing, family time on the patio, fitness classes with [name removed], devotional with [name removed], social hour with my mom’s friends, and constant updates and guidance from [name removed]. The staff at Silvergate San Marcos continues their compassion to care, and lives by their motto, “Where Every Day Matters”.
