American Senior Communities

We love American Village Lincoln lodge. It's actually independent living and just the right level of support. The staff is amazing.

We chose American Village because of the cost and time required before Medicaid assistance was accepted. My first choice was a different facility, but unfortunately was out our price range. American Village was our second choice and my mom has been very happy here. It is an older facility, but located on a nice property. It's convenient to the Broad Ripple area. Very friendly staff and nurses.

What sticks out most about Allisonville Meadows is the staff. They really take the time to get to know your parent and their interests.

I would go to the community myself, and place another loved one in the community again. The staff is really good at keeping the care levels on an individualized basis for each resident. The leadership is good at making sure to know what is going on with each resident in the community as well. The staff communication with the family was perfect and flawless. They were responsive to our questions about our loved one.

The Commons at Honey Creek has been all around a good experience, our loved one is having a great time there it seems like. We like that the doctor comes to the community and visits the residents so we do not have to worry about taking them to and from places. Everything is up to date, pretty and just really nice. We have already recommended this community to others and we will continue to do so.

We are very happy and content here, and enjoy the community. The meals are very very good. There are two choices at every meal for the residents to choose from and then there is also an a la carte menu to order off of if the resident would like. Some of the activities include: Parkinson's exercise class, bingo, games, weekly ice cream social, weekly bible study and service, and more for the residents to choose from. There is a kitchenette in the apartment for the residents to use as well.

It is very clean. The staff is commited. The families visit loved ones alot. so there is tons of interaction.

I have had the opportunity to be in a number of facilities in Fort Wayne..none of them hold even a light next to Coventry Meadows Assisted Living. My mother has Alzheimer’s and their understanding is amazing. Their communication and follow up are very much appreciated. From a smooth admission to the facility to the ongoing care. The staff is amazing and goes the extra mile to ensure that each resident feels a part of the family and loved.

Visited a friend there recently and was very impressed with the facility. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome!!!

I toured Coventry Meadows Assisted Living & Garden Homes and I was very impressed with their admissions process. This community was always our first choice, but they didn't have an opening when we needed. My loved one is currently on the waiting list to hopefully move in soon.

We're very satisfied and glad we made the move to Coventry Meadows. There seem to be plenty of activities, but we have no yet participated in any. The value is about what we had seen at other facilities.

I thought Coventry Meadows was great. They were equally on par with the place we chose and are thrilled with. The staff were very professional and appeared to provide the appropriate level of care for dementia patients. The only reason we didn’t go with them was they didn't have any open beds in the timeframe we needed.

Anthology of Meridian Hills is an absolutely beautiful facility. It is private pay and was quite expensive. It also did not seem like they were very well staffed from what I could tell.

It was a very easy transition to move my loved one from an Assisted Living place to Memory Care. There seems to be a lot of activities for her to participate in. The staff that I've talked with have been very concerned and caring. My mother loves the food, which was really important to her. I'm very happy with what we're paying compared to other places we toured and were quoted.

We went with Meadow Lakes because of the convenient location as well as they have a stellar reputation in this area. I have known prior residents who have had great experiences with them. She really enjoys the activities, especially going to play bingo. They have a large variety of apartment sizes to choose from ranging from 700 square feet to 1600 or more. I would recommend to others.

I toured the memory care unit twice. I spent a great deal of time in the common space with residents and they seemed very content and pleasant. Every associate I had the pleasure of talking with was kind and attentive. I was looking for a good place for my 96 year old mother. Sadly she her health has deteriorated so much in only a few months that they felt they could not meet her needs. I appreciate their care and genuine concern. [names removed] put in a lot of time doing a detailed assessment and sorting through not so well organized notes and recorded from her previous memory care facility in Florida. Thank you. We now will begin talking with their LTC facility.

Good community, too far from family.

Our loved one absolutely loves the meals and dining service, and the staff let the residents have small jobs like calling out bingo which makes them feel important. Right away they made our loved one feel comfortable and just went out of their way to make her feel welcomed into the community.

My loved one just did not care for this community. It just did not give her the right feel that she was looking for. The tours were excellent and thorough. The community looked clean its just did not fit my loved one.

The most important thing is that he's happy. And he's very happy there, which is big for us. He has fallen once, and they called me to let me know, which was nice. He loves the food, and right now it's chef prepared. They offer a lot of activities. His apartment is good. It's smaller, which has been an adjustment for him. But he seems to be adjusting okay overall.
