We toured this facility and loved it!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do offer activities, but it is limited to old people stuff, per mom. They come and clean and do laundry once a week. The place is always clean when I visit. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The activities and activity director are absolutely amazing, it really is the best part about Western Slope. She takes the residents out on outdoor field trips - for the area they live in they will go look at the mountain areas, and drive around to look at the leaves changing colors. The even rented out a limo and drove the residents around to look at Christmas lights. The also go visit a llama farm quite often. We have not had a meal ourselves but the feedback we have heard is that it is really good. Based on the experience we have had so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

My dad needed extra care that we could no long handle. My mother went kicking & screaming as she was not ready to be in an assisted living facility. However, she found the staff very friendly, loving and compassionate. She met some wonderful friends there and within the 1st week was asked to be on the resident council. She is excited to be in a place with folks her own age and with staff that have now become her family. When we brought my dad there, he was in a wheelchair and with little strength. A few days later, he was playing the piano (hadn't played in over 5 years) and helping with the resident sing-a-long. He can now walk with a walker to the restroom, or help with his own transfers. It's a miracle!

My loved one is very happy here at Legacy at Highwoods Preserve. I love the way it is laid out, the common areas are very compact. She loves the staff, they are all very sweet to her and she has been happy with the care as well. [name removed] the manager has such a happy and encompassing demeanor. He knows everyone of the residents name. Everyone knows her name and acknowledges her when they see her. I would definitely recommend Legacy at Highwoods Preserve to others looking.

This a great place to send your loved ones. This has exceeded our expectations. The staff truly care for the residents. The first time that we met the Director and Assistant Director it felt like family here. All the staff know the residents by name, and know the families as well. The dining room is outstanding. The have good food for the residents. It would be nice to have more variety of activities for the residents to participate in. Bingo, movies, and more are some of the activities offered currently by the community. Overall, we couldn't ask for anything better for our loved one.

The experience was very good. They really kept the place clean. The food was excellent, and always really high quality. My loved one, wasn't too involved with the activies. It's expensive but quite worth. We picked this community because the rooms were beautiful, they had individual rooms, and they had close access to everything. Also, they offer memory care.

Tequesta Terrace was awesome. Their management team did an amazing job with helping my mom get integrated. I give them 5/5 stars.

This has been an amazing experience. The community sends a note to me each night to let me know what my loved one has done each day. This allows the family to know what our loved one has been up to. I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one feels at home and is happy here and this is so important to the family!

This is the 4th senior community that we have been involved with. It's by the best one. They don't use 'fuzzy' math when billing, the caregivers are kind and patient, people follow through on maintenance requests (hanging pictures, etc.)

All around I have been happy with the choice I made to move my mother in here. The management, the facility, the nurses, the food, and the rest of the staff are both caring and competent. Thank you

We are completely satisfied with Legacy at Highwoods Preserve. I was very impressed with the staff in the beginning, specifically [name removed] the director. I liked his availability, forthrightness, and he did a good job making me feel comfortable with our decision and that has not changed since we have moved in. It has been a great experience and we are glad we found Legacy.

If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere for your loved one look no further than the LEGACY.... My mom has been there over 2 years and I cannot say enough for the director and ALL the staff employed at the LEGACY. There is always something to keep all the residents engaged. THE LEGACY is a smaller community, and you have a feeling of a family not a HOTEL. I have recently visited a friend's mom in one of the new communities and although the community was BRAN NEW, the feeling, and treatment you receive at THE LEGACY was just not there. I would highly recommend THE LEGACY for your loved one!

My mom is a resident of The Legacy for 2 years. She moved in just before COVID so we did not get to experience THE LEGACY as we know it now. Things are getting back to normal a bit and I find THE LEGACY to be an amazing facility. The director, and all the staff really take pride in operating this facility. I visit my mom everyday, so I see everyday how wonderful this facility is. If you are looking for a place for your parent, I would HIGHLY recommend THE LEGACY, it is like Disney World for the elderly!!!!!

This is a good place to put your parents. The caring nature of the staff, and friendliness of the staff stand out to me. Arts and crafts daily, exercise, weekly field trips, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents. My loved one seems to like the food.

They take really good care of the residents at this community. They are also very helpful with the family members. They have activities like educational programs, crosswords, music entertainment and more for the residents to do. They also go on neighborhood walks.

We were so lucky to find Western Slope Memory Care for my spunky but rapidly deteriorating mother-in-law. She was in good hands in every way. ALL the staff seemed incredibly caring, skilled, and patient. We would highly recommend the Grand Junction facility without reservation.

So far everything is going really good. Everyone is really helpful and they always try to help. The food is good but it could use some improvement. The activities could also use improvement. The schedule says something but it does not always happen. It does need some adjustments. I even tell my friends about this community. It is a great place but just like anywhere else it needs some improvement. With the food maybe they can even make some Chinese food every now and then.

Although I'm a vendor at this property, I found the facility to be immaculately clean and it smelled wonderful. The staff and particularly the executive director, [name removed] was amazing. His attitude is focused on the well-being of his residents, their families and the employees and staff. Highly recommended. BTW...lunch was delicious. Jonathan A. Steiner Air Esscentials.

This senior community is tucked away within a preserve off Bruce B Downs. You’ve probably passed it 1000 times like I have. Well now I have a friend at the Legacy. The peace and quiet is really something I didn’t expect. The care is very terrific and everyone knows my friends name and all the things she likes and dislikes. The food is apparently amazing. I’ve seen the menus but haven’t eaten here yet. According to the residents it is as good as it looks. Two thumbs here
