Resident Review of Canvas

I have been living at Canvas for the past three months, and I believe it offers a superlative experience. Like many couples, we were "downsizing" from a large home, which was hard in some ways, and Canvas made the adjustment as smooth as possible, offering financial advantages and by being accommodating and supportive. The apartments are bright and lovely with various choices. If you are an active older adult with passions and interests, this is a great place for you. They offer classes on-site classes in art, yoga, a gym with personal trainer, multiple cultural trips to museums and plays, and have demonstrations from some of the many nearby restaurants. There are many ways to be socially connected and a monthly meeting in which they want your feedback!

Attiva Park

So far Attiva has been a very satisfactory experience. The staff is helpful and attentive to my needs, the grounds are tidy, well maintained, and gated for safety. Even though it’s an over 55 apartment community, they still have a lot of activities so that the residents can socialize such as church services, bible studies, game nights, and wine and food get-togethers. I’ve been pleased living in Attiva So far, and I’d recommend it to others.

Clean facility!!

My parents have recently moved into this community and so far we have had no complaints about how things have been going for them. The staff have all been very friendly and have welcomed them with open arms. They have had no complaints about the food and enjoy participating in activities from time to time with the other residents. They also do a great job on maintaining a clean environment.

My Mom Loves Lakeview!

My mother moved to Lakeview in September 2015 after living in her same home for 61 years. While it was hard getting her to downsize from a four bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment, my mother is loving her new apartment, her new friends, and her new freedom. Thank you Lakeview for helping my mom transition so quickly. My mom didn't know anyone living at Lakeview, but the staff and residents are welcoming. If you are looking for a place for your parent(s), make an appointment to see an apartment at Lakeview. Well worth your time and there is no hard sale pitch so don't worry about visiting.

A Great Place to Live!

We toured Lakeview when looking for a place for my Mom. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable; the place looked great and my mom thought it looked like a place she'd like to live! The apartments are roomy, have closet space and large bathrooms. The dining area was comfortable and clean. We ate lunch there and enjoyed the meal tremendously. A few residents came up and said "hi," which made my mom feel pretty good. As an independent living facility, I'd highly recommend this place. They have plenty of activities and transportation. If you're looking for a lovely place to live, w/friendly staff, check out Lakeview Senior Living in Lakewood, CO

Our Mother has lived there for over a year now. She is hardly in her room!! She is out and about playing games doing some crafts going on outing or just out visiting. Last year we had a surprise Birthday party there they provided a room for us it went well! We are so please she is doing well there. It did take a little bit of time for her to adjust to her new surroundings . But coming from her own home where she lived for almost 30 years was a big change for her. She is happy and I'am happy for her!

Wish we had found this earlier

I wish we had found this complex earlier. Friendly staff and residents. A good number and variety of activities. At other independent facilities, activities get cancelled because of lack of participation. That does not happen here. The dinning area is wonderful and the food delicious. I would highly recommend this facility.

Mom and dad's move to Colorado

The staff worked very close with us to make my elderly parents' move from their own home to the Center. They encouraged us when it was very difficult for my parents to adjust, and were always available if we had a question or a concern. My parents are adjusting very slowly, but we know it will take awhile, and we appreciate the staff working with us and with them often to ease this difficult transition.

Review of Lakeview Senior Living

This is a great Independent Living community! Well maintained, caring staff, and good community of seniors. The food is great, however, more fresh fruit, and more diabetic food would be great. Wait staff in the dining room could be trained more when they are new to get the orders correct (half size portions or 1 1/2 size portions). The staff is wonderful; takes great care of the tenants, knows everyone (and their families) by name. Good activities for a variety of tastes, many driven by the tenants. Would be great to have a class on Wii, but the new director of fun is coming up with new ideas each week. Maintenance staff is prompt on repairs, cleaning staff is great too.

Would overall recommend

4 on all. It's a pretty good place to live. My mom likes it. It is expensive but everything is expensive. I wish it was a little less expensive. What my mom likes best is that all the apartments are all ground floor, have an option to have a garage, and have doors that open to the outside. She didn't want a larger indoor apartment complex.

New experience.

I will say that being here is a lot of human and I thought it would be. I never thought I would like living in a community this size, but it has been a pleasure in a lot of ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The residents are really sweet and nice. I can say that I’m enjoying it more than I thought. The price is good but high, but I guess that comes with wanting something nice. In some ways, I wish it was a little less, but I guess we get a lot for what we do get charged. The one good thing is that we are supposed to not have to fix anything. It’s been a lot better than I thought it would be love feeling comfortable finally.

Hanover Place

Hanover Place is a very nice complex. Residents are friendly. Minor inconveniences such as I was told there is a beautician on site one day a week, unfortunately there is not one and for people who have difficulty walking this would have been a welcome feature. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my choice of Hanover Place.
