Everyone is very friendly. The staff is great. The on boarding process could be improved. Yes, we would recommend the Alto Overland Park community to other families.

Like most places, the weekend shift is not as "good" as the weekday. These days it's hard to find good quality people in most fields, but the CNA/health care is tough and it shows in facilities like these. I would recommend Allegro Tallahassee to others looking.

The quality of the nursing care (especially [name removed]) was top notch! She really cared about my husband!

My one complaint is that I was assured there were landline phones, and there were when I toured, but none when we moved in. That's very disappointing and would've been a deal breaker. But I do love the staff.

Newer facility. Bright and welcoming. Staff is courteous and caring. Onsite nurses and caregivers. As well as therapy personnel. Apartments are great size. Showers are wheelchair accessible. Dining area bright. Food is great. Activities galore. 24 hour availability of coffee, water, sodas, fruit and cookies. I highly recommend The Canopy.

It is a really nice place but it is getting pretty expensive, We picked this community because of the all day restaurant. The aesthetic. And, they give more autonomy than other places I saw. Most importantly, everyone was happy. This was not the case other places

Very nice place to be. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is very good. The facility is clean and laundry is done nicely. My only complaint has been with urine catheter help. The staff empties the bag, the can put a new bag on. They will not flush the line and that has created lots of er visits due to a blocked catheter. I thought that catheter help included all tasks associated with a catheter. I recommend allegro, except for the catheter issues.

Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However there are a few who make you feel like they are re doing you a favor if they do anything for you. Overall I would recommend the facility.

The facility is very well planned out and has everything a person needs. Staff for the most part is great with exception of the dining staff. They have too many odd offerings instead of basic meat and potatoes. They do have an everyday menu that has basic meal choices.

I would definitely tell them to take a look. Inquire about services. Have a meal there and ask to see a room and the activity schedule! There are monthly family night activities which my siblings and I have attended every month!! Nice touch!! Their activity director, is fantastic!!

I would recommend it, so far as you know I have not been exposed to any other facilities in this community.

New facility. Young energetic staff. Apartments have plenty of room. My parents are in memory care, so it's not so much about the amenities. Everything is taken care of: meds, meals, PT, laundry.

The food is top quality and delicious. The staff is great. Also, the activities are good. My mom is in memory care. They took her to the Butterfly House. At Christmas time, they took her to see the Christmas lights. I would recommend this facility to others.

The director and management staff were really great to work with and made the move-in and out processes very easy. They went above and beyond to assist with my mom's changing needs. Many of the staff that we got to know were kind and caring, but like many facilities floor staffing issues sometimes seemed less than ideal. The facility was flexible in assisting with/providing transportation to appointments, etc. and did a great job of offering holiday gatherings for residents and families. I would recommend the facility.

I would recommend the facility. The meals are a good quality. The staff makes mom feel cared for. The current LPN is very good about returning emails and answering my concerns. I have the Director's cell phone #. When I have had issues, things were made right. They have activities in the afternoon. They recently had a Valentine's Day dinner, which the family payed $10 each to attend. Mom is now in Memory Care. The price went up $[removed] when we moved over and then rates went up by $[removed]. Mom is still able to do for herself, so she doesn't require a high level of care.

One of the main reasons we chose this facility over others was because of the men's club that they have. They also have a great variety of activities provided for the residents.

We chose Allegro Fleming Isla because of the environment and it just felt like the right fit for my relative. They do have staff shortages over the weekend.

IT IS BEAUTIFUL! – Feels Brand New but built over 3-4 years ago. If I had to stay in a home, I’d select Allegro – although it would be nicer if it was placed down south where it’s a lot warmer year round ;).

I think a key is asking questions about their care approach and philosophy so that you can determine if it's a fit for your family members needs. As far as activities, they seemed to be more oriented to just keeping them active vs being part of a treatment program.
