So far Affordable has been doing a great job taking care of my mom. The aide they have provided is on time and she gets along well with my mom. I have no complaints! [name removed] takes mom to doctor, and helps me keep a list going for items she needs. The only thing I do not like is that I have to provide the gloves. But if that is the only thing so far that is bad I consider that a win. Nurse is very easy to talk to and informative with starting care. I do like that office staff ALWAYS answers the phone when I need them for any changes. I have never gotten the voicemail.

Everyone they provided me to a great job in supporting my wife during her time of need. The ladies you sent did a good job putting up with my wife's antics. I would recommend Affordable Family Care

My caregiver in my opinion has been very pleasant, compassionate, over and beyond her responsibility of taking care of mom, preparing a meal, snacks, doing mom's laundry, taking her for short walks around the yard, bringing her mail in, riding with us to doctors appointment, taking mom's dog for walks, doing light house keeping, such as sweeping, gathering garbage, washing dishes after lunch, scrubbing mom's bedroom floor and cleaning her bathroom. [name removed] has been an important part of this stage of mom's life. Mom loves her. And this makes me very happy. She has been an angel for our family.

[name removed] of Affordable Care contacted me immediately and came to assess my needs. Usually she does not get requests for immediate care. Their process is to match their worker with the patient. (Either party my decline the patient or worker if they don't feel it is suitable match) [name removed] had a person who was close to my age and could fill my needs which were limited. Make lunch, do laundry, help me out of bed and back in, and keep me company for half a day. She was prepared to help me shower and other personal needs which were not necessary. I only needed help for two weeks for half day. This was not covered by my insurance plan. So they should check with their insurance first. It cost me $[removed] per week.

What stood out the most is they are very helpful. They courteous and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to others.

We have been very pleased. I had to go out of town at the last minute and they were able to cover him 24/7. We would absolutely recommend their services to other families based on the experience so far.

5 on all. I've used them twice and really appreciate how they do business. Very responsive to requests for specific caregiver experience. Great on scheduling. Extremely responsive to texts, etc.

Way too expensive for my budget and my mothers. I know this cannot be helped because the price alone is what turned me off. But other than that the service is very helpful and the people are very nice and knowledgeable.

No other issues. They are a very professional group. When the caregiver is not here , I am the caregiver for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. I really don’t have extra time to spend on my phone or filling out surveys.

They came to me at the hotel for the initial interview. I was looking for a "live-in" (rather than caregiver shifts) for the ~ 3 weeks stay in the arbnb following my procedure. They have a caregiver who prefers that, and it was really a relief. She was great.

The caregivers have been an excellent fit for my wife and I the scheduling has been outstanding: keeping us informed, if the caregiver is going to be delayed for example.

With the 1st phone call and then initial visit to access our needs for my mother could not have smoother. It was a stressful time with mom’s health declining and family having to make decisions for a mother who had always taken care of us… Intake nurse accessed our needs and was accommodating to make sure she got the correct person to assist in Mom ‘s care. Would I recommend this company to someone else. You bet. thank you Affordable Family Care for helping our family and meeting our needs.

Affordable Family Care is top notch. Detailed first visit with a nurse to determine what level of care was needed. Scheduling team was always available and happy to help. Our caregiver was the best. While we only needed services a couple of months, they were always flexible and reliable. Will definitely call them first if we need them again.

Professional and attentive office and caregiver staff. Their minimum hours required per week is 20, so keep that in mind when looking. I highly recommend this home care service to others looking.

I definitely would recommend this company. They have been with my sister 24-7 since June. We only had a problem with one caregiver. All the other ones have been very good and caring. They have been very helpful and encouraging to my sister.

The caregivers have all had a genuine interest in my mom. I have always received a positive and rapid response from the administrators if a concern arises. They are affordable and the reviews were good.

I recently hired AFCSNC-Raleigh to give me respite from daily care of an elderly, disabled family member. Two months into the service, I have come to appreciate the professional reliability of this group. Their understanding and compassion for people who care for others is comforting. My situation, or plight, was that I needed a helper to care for my brother in the afternoon, so I could leave the house to conduct necessary business and errands. AFCSNC-Raleigh brought that help to me within just a few days of inquiring about their services. They did a good job of matching my brother with an aide that he truly relates to, and finds his company enjoyable. Once or twice, I had to request a change in scheduling, and the office manager was able to accommodate me. All of my communications with the office staff have been immediate in response and helpful in resolving matters. I am really impressed by that. In my initial search for a home-care provider, AFCSNC was the most affordable.

Good experience, no complaints. Good cleanliness. No issues. Staff members is friendly and good with my mom. Quality of care seems good, she takes a lot of time helping my mom get dressed and ready for the day. Meals and dining have been good, it always takes some time to sort through, but I think she's been willing to listen to my moms needs. Activities have been good, I wish my mom got more exercise but I think the staff member does what she can to get her to get up and move it out. The value for the cost seems good. I have no complaints.

The staff at Affordable Family Care have been extremely helpful to us in establishing and maintaining in-home care for my Mom. The caregiver they have provided consistently goes above and beyond her required responsibilities and has become a part of our family and a good friend to my mother.

My mother has dementia. I called and set up a caregiver to come out to spend time with her 3x a week. I need someone to be a companion as well as help with medication, nutrition (meals) and interaction with my mother to help her stay alert. The first caregiver was nice but not a great fit. After calling and speaking with AFCS again, they sent someone who has been a great fit! I appreciate AFCS listening to my concerns and are willing to continue to work with me. This company is compassionate, they have very clear communication between me and the caregiver. The caregiver is professional, kind and accepting each day may be different. My mother is much improved. The home is complicated with someone else present during the day and she has the skills to navigate around him and engage with him when necessary. I am very pleased with every aspect of my experience with AFCS. I highly recommend them and have given their name to friends who may be needing someone in the future.
