My sister suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and after a year and a half at memory care unity in [community name removed] I transferred her to ActivCare in Laguna Hills, CA. Since then I have witnessed a remarkable transition. She smiles, is happy and engaged with activities. The staff are caring, compassionate and totally professional. I have been in health care my entire life in hospital management, medical center faculty and as a legal counsel to healthcare providers. I unequivocally state that the care my sister receives at ActivCare is truly exceptional and has undoubtedly improved the quality of her life

I have had my mother at Activ Care Bressi Ranch since Feb of 2020. I am always impressed with the staff. Very well trained care givers that are kind and calm. They are so friendly and loving with my mother, who is still a current resident. The activity director Carmen in awesome. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Food is homemade and good. The patios are accessible and have updated planting with the season. The director [name removed] and sales staff are approachable and professional. I had my mother at a different facility and moved her, as I was not happy with the care and cleanliness, so I have experience, when I say , this is an excellent option for your family member.

Very helpful administrative staff - all questions and issues addressed promptly. Clean and bright common areas. Appreciate RNs on site in addition to CNAs.

We liked pretty much everything about the community, his care was good and before he passed away they called hospice in which was great. We have no complaints they worked so well with me when it came to all the finances. The nurse who was with him as he was passing was just marvelous, she was right by his side the entire time. She helped us call family members to say goodbye, and she was just truly amazing.

Tour scheduled [date removed]. Memory care only. This is good for us. Level 1=$6550/shared room. This is better than the $8550 for Silverado in Azusa .Level 2 is for hospital beds, which we don't need. Location might be a bit far, but we will see. We really like this facility.

Activ Care has been fantastic especially during this tough situation with COVID. I would want others to know that it is a fairly new facility. The room layouts are great and they have their own bathrooms. The public areas are also big so they have plenty of room for activities, eating, socializing, etc. The location has also been perfect for our family. The administrator and manager have just been terrific. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

Activcare is a very nice place inside and out.I looked at a few places that I did not feel were safe. I felt very safe there and felt that my husband was safe there. Beautiful outdoor space for residents to utilize. My husband needed hospice care and the company that was brought in was phenomenal . Nurses and staff were amazing.

We are so happy we chose ActivCare when our Mom was no longer able to stay in her home. We toured several facilities before making our decision and found ActivCare to be the most complete and all inclusive. We worried so much about placing her somewhere and how she would react but the entire caring and knowledgeable staff, the great activities and focus on setting up a daily routine have made her so much more calm and content. We love ActivCare!

My Beautiful mother needed to move somewhere w/ care; as she had been diagnosed w A form of Dimentcia Sad for All involved.. My parents & I live in North County San Diego. In looked @ all local Memory Homes : found Bressi Ranch to be The Place For My Mother My Best Friend. So my New Normal from Nov 2014/Feb 4 of 2017 was working ,going to see my dad @ his home picking up Subway ect..for lunch watching game shows/and then late afternoon going to mother's @ Bressi Ranch Carlsbad. I was w her Everyday!! Had missed 4 times from shear tiredness,. Yet She was Well taken care of & All the Staff became Family,Its a 5 Plus Star Home for yourloved ones.. They keep everyone clean& fresh & well fed!!!!.. And Welcome Visitor's at any time!!! Thank You

I toured this community for my mom's care. I liked the staff and they were helpful. The community is clean and maintained. They do need to update the community so it felt like it had a better touch for the residents. They offer activities and a nice menu. We would recommend that other families tour this community for the care that is needed for loved one.

I toured here when I was looking around for options. I was really impressed with them. They were my first choice. Unfortunately they didn't accept dogs, and that was a deal breaker for us. I liked them a lot.

The administration and staff are very friendly. The facility is emaculate. They treat my father with respect and dignity.

She's been there for 2-2 and a half months and it's going fine, we're impressed with the palce, it's beautiful. She has on days and off days. Somedays she calls up and thinks she's at a hotel. This is why we got her there as soon as we could because to leave her alone at night wasn't a good thing so she needs 24 hour care because she's getting worse. On bad day's my wife calms her down and has her look at things that are familiar to her and it helps. She gets to see her a lot more because she's only 10 minutes away, we're doing what we can. Other than that it's beautiful, we're happy with the place, the price is reasonable, the food's good. We were even checking it out when they were building the place. Plus, it's a smaller community with only 85 people, the main thing was 24/7 care. This way my wife doesn't have to worry, I don't have to worry, I would highly recommend this palce to anybody.

The facility was clean and the staff were engaged with residents. It seemed like everyone knew my mom’s name. Good activities and outings. Food could have been better. Loved the 24/7 LVN presence and the facility seemed well-equipped to handle any contingency. Working through the staff on medical issues with the mobile Dr. presented challenges and it took several requests to get something resolved. Great housekeeping and maintenance and ample caregivers were present. [name removed] and [name removed] were wonderful to help move us in (and out).

My loved one was previously a resident at ActivCare at Bressi Ranch and everything was very good for her at this facility! I would recommend this facility to others.

The staff is kind and caring to my mom.

We have had the chance to have our father in ActivCare years ago and now our mother is there, so overall we have been satisfied with the experience. Our mother is currently mentally and physically in a much better place. What really sealed the deal was their floor plan - it is all one floor so all the corridors and hallways lead into the main lobby where their meals and activities are and that is also where you can visit with friends and family. We have been comfortable with the services there and we would definitely recommend them to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience very nice and positive but this community just did not have as much natural bright and the structure was older so not really what we were looking for.

We chose ActivCare Orange because I really liked the personal connection that we made, the staff were very open in comparison to the others that we looked at. It was like they opened up the entire facility, they were honest and it was full disclosure. It created a wonderful sense that we were making the right decision by placing our loved one here. We had some difficulty with people that were trying to access our loved one and cause harm and they worked with us very well and were super supportive. We worked in great partnership to resolve the issue and most importantly, they kept our loved one safe. I would definitely recommend ActiveCare Orange to others.
