Overall, I think the Village is a good place for my mom. Most of the staff, including the CNA's and med tech's, are very friendly and helpful to make the residents comfortable. There have been a couple of issues where overnight staff were difficult and not helping my mom to get to bathroom as she is wheelchair bound. Issues were addressed by staff.

The Addison of Fairways is a beautiful building with lots of amenities including movie night, card parties, work out room where you can get physical therapy, manicure, pedicures charged to your insurance, hair cuts at a reasonable price, billiards, and pool access. Tina Clancy was a wonderful help in getting my brother settled in. She deserves a raise. My brother says the food is very good with a great menu. His studio room is a very good size, more than adequate for him. I would love to stay there myself. Definitely worth a tour.

Friendly and helpful staff and administration. Dad is happy there and feels safe. He is happy with the food, activities and staff. Appears clean and welcoming. You should visit and check it out, I highly recommend!

The people couldn’t be nicer, more helpful or more patient. They have made a difficult situation easier. The apartments are big, clean and bright. The whole facility is beautiful and well kept. I feel this is the perfect place for my mother in this next stage of life

Manor Hills is a wonderful place with an at home atmosphere. The building always smells like home and not an institution. My family aunt always gets great care. The staff treats her like family as well as our family. The rooms are very spacious and have their own shower. Activities are great with an open room for her to go and work on her crafts when she wants. She especially loves that there is a library in the facility. Hair dresser prices are the best and she does a wonderful job.

At 64 my brother experienced a major health event which left him unable to live alone. Finding Manor Hills was a life saver. Being a military veteran it was nice to find a place that had several residents that were also veterans. He went from living a fairly isolated life to being surrounded by a caring staff and friendly neighbors.

Every member of the staff was extremely kind, compassionate, and caring. They went out of their way to make my mom feel at home. The apartments seemed a bit small to me but are comparable to other facilities. The amenities were very nice.

A family friend was at this facility for 4 months. Her room was like a cozy bedroom. It was immaculate, the whole place is spotless. The staff is very unique in that everyone from the custodial staff to the medical staff were caring, kind and professional. The food was great as well. Loved that it is a smaller building that fosters a family like environment. Would highly recommend .

My dad truly loves the Atria. He is making friends and ea The activities. The food is very nice. The convenience of having the PA on location is very helpful as well as the onsite pharmacy. It truly is a welcoming experience.

I visited multiple facilities in search for a place for my dad who was moving cross-country to be near his grandchildren. From the moment I called, the staff at The Village at South Setauket were warm, friendly, and welcoming. I met a variety of folks on my tour, and each one had worked there for no fewer than 7 years. It is clear that the staff is supported and supportive, and they work together as a team to ensure that the residents and their families are loved as if they were their own. I cannot say enough kind words about The Village at South Setauket. The living space, the food, the activities are all wonderful, but the staff is what really makes this place a home for my dad.

We were attracted because of the quality vs the price I get more bang for my buck and it's well run. I would recommend to others.

I have been living in this assisted living since year 2018. The care staff helps me with clothing, showering, toileting, and bedding. The staffs are very polite, kind, and speedy. I like that the management team does not use agency care as much as possible. The food is delicious and the service is awesome. We have many activities such as bingo, puzzles, other games, happy hour, shopping and scenic drives. I am satisfied with this facility.

I am very pleased with the way the staff are attentive and take care of the residents. My mother really likes living there. I think they can have just a little bit more activities. Other than that, really love it.

The aids were lovely. The staff was attentive. The choice of daily movie was random. They could try to offer some more that appeal to the mostly older women who live there.

It's actually really homey there . They are all good with the people that live there and are open to any advice as far as improvements go . They do need to clean the floors better, especially under the beds and windows.

Overall experience - very good, everyone is helpful. Cleanliness is good. The individual room could be cleaned more often. The staff is friendly and nice. Quality of care is good. We had a delay in setting up appointments but looks like we're on track now. The meals are simple and tasty. For activities, they plan something everyday. It is a good value for the care that's given. I'm pleased with facility and my loved on is happy there.

Management in any organization leads the staff in how care is given. This facility has a director who cares about her residents and staff and she encourages/leads her staff to care for their residents as if they were their parents or grandparents. It is not a job at The Towngate. It is a philosophy that works for the residents and their families. Staff seems happy & that resonates to the residents.

I can't think of anything to complain about, the community is always clean and they've all been helpful and friendly. I don't have another facility to compare the care services to, but I'd say 5c no problems. My understanding is that the meals are all good. I would indeed recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Great recommendation. Unfortunately, my Mom was only there for 5 days, so she did not really use food and activities. She was very well taken care of. Even though the facility is older, it is very clean and well maintained. The staff, from director to nursing to admin and support seem to be one happy family caring for the residents. Some residents, I learned, have been there for many years.
