I am so very pleased with The Windsor and my aunt is so happy here! She has settled in great here and all of the residents and staff have been terrific! She had a hard time adjusting, but they really made her feel welcome here, and they make the family feel welcome too! This really helped us reinforce that we made the right decision! The place itself is really nice, and the activities are great! It really gives her more of a social setting. I have to say that I was hesistant, but that suprassed my expectations. It's very different from what I thought of these homes. It really does give you the independence by having your own apartment within a community. I recommended this place to a friend, and I think it is just great!

Fantastic! Did not have an appointment but given 90 minutes of Luann's time. She is Asst. Mkt. Director. This is the place! Hope to convince my parents to take a look. It is clean, beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are lovely! The one bedroom is delightful and so many amenities. The residents were so nice and answered many questions and raved about the place. It seems affordable even with the massive amount of Anbesol my dad has to buy for mom. Right now dad has to let my excitement about the place soak in. Trying to get mom out of pain is his main priority.

My brothers and I were so excited when our Mother announced that she felt it was time to "retire". She chose The Windsor. We are extremely pleased with her decision. Things have gone very well overall at The Windsor! The facility itself is nice looking, well kept, and clean, and they the food they serve here is delicious! All of the staff seem very friendly and caring, and they take good care of the people who live here!

I would recommend them to others. We were attracted to them because of the good reputation and contentment of residents. Also, the value for the money.

Had a wonderful visit to this facility the other day. Mom has finally gotten old enough she can’t handle the day to entirely by herself. I hadn’t been in one of these homes since I was a child myself, so my expectation was low, and much to my surprise very wrong. [name removed] the woman who organized the visit was quite pleasant, and the home was very much cleaner and nicer than I was expecting, (memories of strong urine smell) were not an issue at all, we got to speak to a few of the residents that were up and about, they seemed to be in good spirits and had no negative comments about the residence that they cared to share, I know because I asked every chance I got, I certainly could see myself visiting my mother here , its relatively close to work for me so popping in in the evening would be a breeze, we only have one more place to visit before we make a decision so I believe [name removed] will be seeing us soon for placement , not happy about putting mom anywhere but this visit was good!

Our family had an in person tour and the staff members were very good and knowledgeable. When we were on the tour the tour guide stopped one of the nurses and gave a scenario if a resident were to fall what are the protocols so that was something nice to hear. However the community has been around for a long time so it really needed some updating because it was old and a little dirty.

Have had some difficulties keeping enough staff which believe is due to Covid but overall has a great place.

Looking back, I wish this is the place we would have chosen. Out tour was about 30-45 min. The facility seemed nice and clean. The staff were friendly. And the apartments were a good size.

This is a pretty good place for the money. The community is able to provide medication assistance for my loved one. The times are not always consistent and this would be helpful if they would be able to improve on this for our loved one. This is a clean community; however, they could do better at cleaning under furniture. The food is really good in tastes; however, the portion sizes are small. Bingo, religious services, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.

VSM is pleasant, safe during COVID, apartments roomy. Staff friendly and helpful. Food is good with variety. Variety of activities. Cleanliness could improve. Trips on van should pick-up. Not too happy with chairs on 2nd floor by elevators.

I really liked The Windsor and felt that they had a lot to offer. All of the places I looked at were very close in comparison and made it a hard decision to make.

We had previous toured this community long ago and actually hard friends here who said they had a great experience. We are looking to possibly have our loved one here so we hope it is just as good as an experience.

We have been very satisfied with this facility for my Mother. She likes that they only serve 2 meals a day since she doesn't eat much in the evening. She is still adjusting but finds the residents and staff very friendly and helpful. The apartments are spacious with plenty of storage and a small but full kitchen. She does not require assisted living services but they are available.

great studio & friendly residents. very long walk to elevator, but meal escorts available. Check-in button by bed area to let staff know resident is all right in morning. Breakfast buffet includes eggs & oatmeal. Soup & dessert always an option for lunch. Leftovers can be taken up to room for dinner. Good outdoor space front and back.

It was really nice but for the price, not worth it. It was much more expensive and the rooms were smaller than all of the other places we went. Some of the things weren't included, which would have made it even more expensive. My aunt knew someone there, but she knew way more people at another community so she decided to move there.

I'm unsure if its their fault, but they're going through personal care systems like they're going out of style. They have lost 3 or 4 since my loved one has been there. They have replaced some of them, but very inefficiently. I don't know if they're having troubles hiring people, but the lunches don't run on time either. They're being delivered at different times for Assisted Living residents. They just hired a new set of people for housekeeping and they're going through employees too. I'm unsure if its a contracted company, or if they're through their staff, as they arrive in a car marked for a cleaning service. Independent Living residents who can come and go or drive themselves - they can actually deal with it easier, rather than the people who are handicapped or dependent.

This felt like a retirement community.

Food is only fair few fresh fruits and vegetables.
