Westchester of Winter Park most definitely gets a 5 in every category. The staff are excellent, care is wonderful and the facility itself is very clean.

Went to center for a holiday function. The staff and residents were very welcoming. The center was clean and inviting.the center was decorated for the holiday and frlt like home.the residents are growing flowers and vegetables.

Hello, I have been able to observe this facility for over three years. I see and feel the love, warmth, and home-like feel of Westchester. Everyone is like a family! The facility has recently been some changes and has some beautiful upgrades.

Westchester Assisted Living of Jacksonville is a wonderful community to place your loved one?? Activities is one of their super powers. They have amazing staff, friendly and welcoming residents, a beautiful garden, and more!

The communication was fantastic and informative and helpful. There is definitely a sense of community with the residents and staff, they even have a resident president like a little council

Finding a caring home for a loved one suddenly and at the last minute is scary. Lots of calls, questions, and concerns. From the very first email communication with Westchester, I felt more at ease. It’s a living community of residents who interact and are interested in each other. The staff is delightful and helpful. They even have a resident president who helped program our tv! My loved one was at a facility out of state that cost twice as much and offered nothing like the building, food, activities and more. One great plus is that apart from two entree choices at meals, they always offer hot dogs, subs, and salads as well. Great communication with admin and staff. Two months in and 10/10!

Toured the facility. Friendly and affordable. Residents told me how happy they are living here. When the time comes, this is where I will put Dad. Answered Prayer.

I like the care at this community for my sisters care. The staff is caring and attentive. The menu is nice and she likes the nice variety. The activities are offered and she is enjoying meeting others. She is happy to have her own room and feels very comfortable. We would recommend this community for the great care and a good value for a loved one.

The Brookshire is wonderful. The service she gets is wonderful. She has made friends. Her depression is better. The keep her so busy that at 9 o'clock at night she is in bed asleep. She doesn't nag me anymore. They encourage people to bring their pets in. They get to pick their meals from a menu. They have ice cream sundaes with fresh fruit and other toppings. She has a better social life than me. I was paying more at the previous facility she was in and this one is 100% better. I am very happy with this facility.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with The Brookshire, it is a very nice place! The community is well kept and clean, and the staff are all very friendly! They provide a high level of service, and the nurses are all very attentive. My loved one also really seems to like the food!

After touring 5 assisted living facilities, I decided on The Brookshire for my mom. Everyone is so cheerful and compassionate there. The food has been great, giving my picky eater mom many choices. I have eaten there and been very satisfied. My mom's apt is very nice and larger than any of the other facilities we toured. The staff is great and they really keep the place clean.....I like that. This place is like one big family! They strive at making the transition as smooth as possible for her. I am very grateful. I love this place!

They do a pretty good job. They are wonderful. We love them! They have lots of activities, dances, they have a lot of things. We are very happy with them. I wouldn't give anything below a five. The girl that runs the place, she is absolutely wonderful. Maintenance man is great. Everyone's wonderful. Haven't had any problems. My aunt is very happy here.

The staff is friendly and well trained. Activities are good but could be more varied. Food is good and served nicely.

Cleanliness of common areas and individual rooms could be better. More activities would be nice.

We had a pleasant tour of this community. Everyone was kind, and helpful to us. The experience went very well overall, but it was not the facility for us.

Nice place, more new than expected and in the middle of town, one big plus, about 2 blocks away; there is a big and very well recommended hospital, with Trauma Center and great Cardiac Ward and Surgeons! Holmes Regional Hospital. The Director of Admissions even offer to help even if mom was not placed at their facilities!

Some of the staff are very helpful and caring. The Admissions Director seems ok until you get your foot in the door. Facility should be better kept up with maintenance.
