I think it's a nice place. It's kept up well, and it looks very nice in there. Things are very easy for my loved one to do now, with meals and cleaning provided for him. I really like the apartment. For one person, it's roomy. There's plenty of room for what he needs. Coming from a big house has ben an adjustment for him though. They have a lot of activities - I always see a schedule posted on the wall, and it looks like they have something going on pretty much every night.

The community is very modern, with good accessibility when it comes to being mobile. The community is very family-oriented and very friendly. I would recommend this community based on my experience.

This place was amazing. So clean and did not give the feel for a senior living place. The apartments were very nice and the price would be in my Aunt price range even if she would say it wouldn't. The person who showed me around was also named [name removed]. She was very nice and answered any questions I had. She also emailed me tour videos that I could show my aunt if she is willing to look at them. The activities they have look like to much fun and the face that it is located near Harlem and Irving (HIP) plaza is a plus. If you send anymore recommended places I would concentrate on anything less than $3,000 a month for independent living.

I researched all of the nursing homes and assisted living in my area when it was time to find a home for my mother. I was most impressed with Ellen's home and my mom has been there since last November. [Name removed] and all her workers are amazing! My mom is not easy to handle and they do it with patience and kindness on a daily basis. I am so grateful and highly recommend them!!

I was looking for a place for my uncle. I was referred to Asbury from his doctor. [Name removed] called me right away after I left a message there and met with me that evening. My wife and I took a tour of the place and decided on it right away. [Name removed] and the team there were very helpful and made this whole process very easy.

I like talking to everyone and watching TV in the loop lounge. The food is good and the residents are friendly. The staff really cares about me

The people are very nice and i love the place. i run into a rough path in my life and my family decided that a senior community was best. I have adjusted really well. i also enjoy all the activities and my new friends.

My aunt and uncle started living at Autumn Green Midway Village [date removed]. It has been an adjustment but they are doing fine. They No longer have the stress and worries of taking care of a home. They have a two bedroom apartment. It’s small, cozy and comfortable. The independence of having a kitchen to cook if they choose is a joy. At this they have no regrets, downsizing and choosing to move. At this time in their lives, they deserve a good quality of life, and Autumn Green Midway Village allows this to happen. My dad and I choose Ellen's Home of Port Washington to care for my mother when her needs exceeded our ability to care for her at home. We were concerned that making a wrong choice at this time would be detrimental to all of us particularly my mother who had end stage Parkinsons. We were made aware of Ellen's Home by word of mouth. Turns out we did in fact make the right choice as the care my mother received in her short time (5 weeks+/-) at Ellen's was all we could hope for. The facility is as home like as such a facility can be and the staff is caring and compassionate. We are grateful for their efforts to make my mothers last weeks as comfortable as possible.
