Ultimate Care Senior Living Management

We are doing well here with no cases on Covid -19. They are keeping a close eye on people and being very cautious. It is Very clean and they vacuum all day long. Director is always around, he thanks the staff over the intercom everyday before he leaves. He is very visible in the community. The kitchens in units are very nice stainless steel refrigerators, nice counters. Lots of services, laundry etc. They try very hard with activities, doorway bingo, trying hard to keep people busy. Have Mass and pray the Rosary together. Movie theater movies every day and exercise classes. So much to do lots of crafts.Great outdoor spaces and a large patio.

My mom was scheduled to move in , we had moved in all the furniture and they have been waiting for her arrival, but the move in has been delayed due to Covid-19 residents at her current rehab/ skilled facility. Atria Waldwick has been over the top helpful in the whole experience. They hosted my whole family on tours. They have been working with my brother to get her moved in and be under quarantine for 14 days but we have not been able to do this yet. The manager has called everyday to update us on what they are doing to keep their current residents safe and happy. A truly wonderful community.

Our mother was in The Bristal at Lake Success for 3 years. The facility was first class in all regards. The building was always clean, the meals beautifully prepared, and the staff was professional and caring. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff kept the family informed of all situations and was always available for consultations. We experienced only minor glitches, for example lost laundry items and not a great beauty salon. Although the Bristal is costly, the adage “ you get what you pay for” applies. This memory care facility is operating at the highest level of care.

Excellent facility! Mom has been there for 3 years. The facility is very clean and cheerful, there are many activities for all levels of ability, and the staff is knowledgeable and kind. As Mom ages and her needs change, the Executive Director and her staff have been most helpful in guiding us along to next levels...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

My dad has lived here for 31/2 years and has received excellent care . The Physical environment is bright and cheery and the rooms are kept spotless. The staff is warm and friendly and always happy to communicate with the family.They seem to have nice relationships with all the residents and my dad is quite comfortable speaking to any of them. Lots of activities offered for the residents . It is very costly, but not sure any other places are cheaper. Would definitely recommend The Bristal!

My MIL has been at the Bristol on the Reflections Unit for about 9 months. In that time we have come to know and love the staff. Every member of our Bristol Family is special. They have made my mother in law feel safe and loved. She's engaged and she loves the activites that are going on all day. The holiday gatherings hosted for families go above and beyond. The atmosphere from the moment you walk though the door is simply welcoming. We are always greeted with a smile and it's almost like coming home. Knowing she is happy there is what it's all about!

The Bristal at Lake Grove is an absolutely wonderful place!! In April 2019 our family had a devastating loss. Our mother passed away and our Dad, after 57 years of marriage, was living on his own. Upon deciding he did not want to live alone, we began researching assisted living facilities. From the moment we walked into the elegant lobby of The Bristal at Lake Grove, for our tour, we were greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome. [Name removed] was so comforting and knowledgeable, we felt like we were meeting with an old friend. In Sept. 2019 our Dad moved into The Bristal at Lake Grove with great ease. The reception he received and continues to receive from both the residents and the staff, has been a true blessing! He has made many new friends. The compassion the staff members demonstrate and the way they interact with the residents is heartwarming. There are many activities available to the residents throughout the day and evening. Our Dad tries to participate in as many as he can; a few of his favorites are balloon volleyball, Wii bowling and Bingo. Our family enjoys the activities with the residents and staff as well. The pleasurable environment we have found at The Bristal has become a new home to our Dad and our family, and has put a smile back on his face. Thank you to everyone at The Bristal at Lake Grove!

After interacting with[name removed] at the Bristal since June of 2019, my 81 year old mom became a resident at the Bristal in Sayville in mid December of this year. I did an extensive search of assisted living facilities over the last 6 months, and I found that [name removed] was extremely personable and easy to interact with. After taking a tour of the facility, I knew that my mom would do well in terms socialization, medication management, hydration, nutrition, along with the help necessary with various activities of daily living. The staff at the Bristal has been extremely friendly and and they can relate to what my family and I are going through. I highly recommend that the Bristal at Sayville be considered as an assisted living facility.

The bristal at lake grove is wonderful. My mom could no longer live alone in a large house after mydad passed this year and her soon after had health issues. We already had a positive experience when my dad was there almost 2 yrs ago . Since august when she moved into.a beautiful studio she has thrived. She has new friends , has had pt, sees a doctor, plays bingo, volley ball , movies and enjoys the festive parties. More important is the wonderful care , assistance she receives from so many, the kindness , affection and attention . We are very thankful to these wonderful people. Highly recommend!

The Bristol at sayville is the right placement for my mom. She has adjusted and takes advantage of the many activities and trips that they offer. Her medical needs are taken care of by the in house doctor and nursing staff. She raves about the staff all the time. I am happy we chose the Bristol for her.

I cannot say enough about the Bristal. We moved my Mom here a week ago. She was very angry and adamant that she did not want to go. We knew that as an Alzheimer’s patient it would be the best thing for her. Now that she is here she LOVES it! Loves the activities and the kind and competent care that she receives. Her apartment is new and beautiful. The care is exceptional. Thank you to everyone!

Our family is grateful for The Bristal at Sayville for their care and commitment to patients. The staff is diligent in providing the interaction, activities and physical care essential to his specific needs. The environment is beautiful and clean. He’s a picky eater but with so many delicious options he always enjoys his meals. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind we would have never had if it weren’t for this facility.

We visited several other facilities in the area but chose The Bristol at North Woodmere because it was like entering a 4 star Hotel instead of an assisted living facility. Not only is it so bright and cheerful, but the staff and all of the aides are so nice and helpful. My mother-in-law is so much happier here interacting with people rather than being in her old apartment all alone. She gets all of the assistance she needs throughout the day. Plus the wellness center has regular visits from a general practitioner, podiatrist and optometrist with a nurse on hand. Three good meals a day, movie theatre, exercise classes, hair salon and Shabbat every Friday, what more could we ask for. My mother-in-law didn't want to leave her apartment but once she took the tour and spoke to Lori the sales director who made her feel at ease and answered all of her concerns, she decided to try it and she's still there and very happy. I highly recommend the Bristol at North Woodmere.

My mother was in a facility in Birmingham, Alabama, and we moved her back to Long Island. We chose the Bristal in North Woodmere because of location and all in all friendliness of the staff. My family could not be any more happy with our choice. She acclimated very well due to the caring staff. As a family we are extremely pleased with the care that she is receiving. There are a myriad of activities that fit all areas that are important for seniors. The Bristal also involves family in different events that they plan such as Grandparent's Day. Holidays are also celebrated with special lunches or dinners. All in all, my family and my mother are very pleased with the Bristal of North Woodmere. Thank you for being there for all seniors.

My dad has been a resident here for a year and a half. The entire staff from aides to management are compassionate and caring people. They help pair up people who they think will be friends, add activities to meet the interest of residents and the facility is immaculate. My 12 year old thought grandpa moved into a hotel. Highly recommend!

The Bristal was extremely nice and updated. It is only 6 years old and very clean and welcoming.Tons of activitites, more than anyone could ever use, unfortunately I don't think my father in law would use any of them, but that's beside the point. The rooms are clean, and the re-carpet and paint each room before the new person moves in (very impressive). Dining options were great, meaning they had about 5 special options per dinner, plus the everyday options. Other places did not have that many choices. The whole place was clean and Tammy, who gave us the tour was beyond knowledgeable. She answered questions I didn't even know I had yet. She was also upfront about the "extra" fees they all have but don't tell you, which I appreciated. Hands down this place is NICE, and expensive, but you get what you pay for. An impressive community.

Can't imagine a place any nicer. Very much like a high end hotel. Too pricey, however, for my family member's budget.

I could not have been more pleased with the people and the quality of the Bristal experience. Although my father passed away after less than 3 months there, they have earned my deep respect.

Nice, friendly, airy and light spaces. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Staff very nice.

Moved 89 yr old mother into the Bristal - 3 years ago. It completely brought her back in the game. My mom made friends, joined social activities such as bingo and a book club. She enjoys the staff and the residents. My mom gained 20 pounds and continues to thrive. My mom is in the best care. She has no worries. My mom became more engaged in life due to the Bristal. The staff is simply amazing and all of them care for the residents. They are friendly each and every day. From the house keepers to the receptionist to the senior manager -all of them care. I never thought she'd live this long with out her husband who she misses daily - but the Bristal has given her a new lease on life.
