It is great. Very well maintained. Always clean. No odors. Plenty of snacks and beverages. For residents. Has OT/PT housed in the building. Rooms are very and large. Private or semi private. A walk in shower with bench in each room which is Amazing. I would recommend to anyone. It is very nice and the admin staff are very helpful. Always feel welcomed. Joe with activities is great at keeping everyone involved and engaged

Grace Village is not only a beautiful clean place to be, the staff are amazing, compassionate and so very caring for patients!! We chose it for location, price and that they were opening a wing of new rooms and my father would be in one of them. Some of the nurses are great (name removed and name removed). Others I don't know so well. Some are more interested than others. There is a new administrator who seems much better, but we have had very little interaction so far. Overall we have been very happy with the care that my father receives here.

Based on [name removed] statement, she advised me [name removed] ( daughter from Florida) that she was treated well. She was treated with respect. She liked the food. The staff are amazing. [name removed] said she really likes it there but that it was expensive. [name removed] said there was cheaper room and she would like to be transferred. [name removed] also said, she was paired with a resident who had advanced dementia. The resident was going through [name removed] drawers, pulling all her clothes from the drawer and throwing them on the floor. The client was also going into the refrigerator and opening her drinks and she did speak to numerous staff and that nothing was being done about it. The information that I am providing has been told to me by my mother because I have not physically been there to observe anything Thank you, [name removed].

By far the best assisted living center in Granite Falls, if not in the entire Hickory area. The facility is spotless and the staff are top notch - they are intelligent and incredibly kind and considerate. Compare Grace Village to any other facility in NC if you have to - Grace Village is the best.

My family and loved one had a great experience with Jurney's of Statesville. The community has been clean when we visit our loved one. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and caring. There are meals and activities to assist with resident socialization. Overall, this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones. Now the food is served cold a lot of the time.. I believe that's the only drawback to Jurneys..

Naturally there is a staffing shortage but the staff members are trying their best and the staff we have met are very friendly. Our loved one is very happy there, the value is worth it because she is getting all the attention and care she needs. It has been excellent. The meals are not the best, that could use a little help sometimes there isn't a chef and the service is a little slow. However the activities are great, our loved one is really enjoying everything they have to offer.

Staff as a whole is excellent. Positive attitudes, willingness to be helpful, very patient, enough of them work hard to cover any deficits of a small few, willing to take in info from family members to help residents, communicative. Not enough variety in memory care activities, including physical activities. Food is better than average. Room sizes are good singles and doubles. Cleanliness is average. General area floors could do with more sweeps/mops weekly. Housekeeping closets are locked after day shift so night shift has to improvise if something needs to be cleaned. Not sure if there is a regular room cleaning schedule. Executive staff are positive and work with the families. All floor staff are rotated between assisted living and memory care allowing for a greater knowledge base as a whole and allows residents and staff to build relationships and stability. Staff turnover is maybe 10%, so the residents have consistency in care. Residents as a whole seem positive and content if not happy. There is a slight overall level of boredom, but that seems to be a general attitude in most facilities. I had to change facilities for my mom. I chose Grace Village because I'd heard positive things about their memory center. They have not disappointed. I genuinely appreciate the staff and the care they give/show my mom. I love that regardless of how many days between visits, if I ask how mom has been they have a conversation with me and give me the highlights reel. That has helped me tremendously. It's made a tremendous change on mom. Even my out of state brother has noticed it when he calls her. No place is perfect, but I've absolutely no doubt that she is loved and cared for at Grace Village.

All of the staff is friendly and have kept a very close eye on my husband's care needs. He loves the food. Not just the choices but the flavor and preparation. The halls and his room are always clean and I have never been greeted by unpleasant odors. He is in a small private room but has room to move around comfortably whether he's using his walker or a wheelchair. It is a little difficult to get in the closet but the staff helps him get things in and out.

Jurney's is way better than the previous place! It's a little bit more expensive, but the "people factor" makes it worth it! [Name Removed]/Administrator is much more people-focused, not business-focused, toward clients. It makes all the difference! Also, the Med Techs are there because it's their calling, not just a job. You can feel the difference! All staff is personable, professional, helpful & caring. That tells me that Jurney's has a top notch HR process & a healthy employee support effort. Of course the food is not great, probably because of standard dietary restriction parameters when caring for senior residents groups. Wish that could be better quality somehow.

The staff is very friendly and always greets us and the residents. My only complaint is the cost. The activity director, [name removed], is so enthusiastic with the residents, our dad enjoys talking with him! The food is good but dad would prefer more beef options. His room is very roomy and cleaning is good. I'm very pleased with this facility.

Great team, very clean, food is always great, several activities available. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

I would recommend it. Just beware that the food needs a little help. We picked them because they had lots of light and clean. Didn't smell.

Right now the facility is going through a change in Leadership. Hopefully the inconsistencies that I have experienced will improve. I feel my Dad is safe and cared for but I feel there are a few areas that can be improved on.

It's been over a year ago, so I would say at the time they were helpful and understanding and attended to our Dads needs.

The first impression was excellent. Everyone smiled and was very pleasant. We were given the tour and loved the place which made us bring my mom up to see it. She fell in love with the place and the room in which she was going to stay in. She has been there since December. We have discovered that the communication between the staff and administration was not good. We also discovered that the food was not good and limited choices regarding menu. It is clean and doesn’t smelled. Lots of light and had a few very nice sitting areas. The activity manager is fantastic. Has a lot of activities for the residence who want to participate. I did visited a couple of other facilities and did some comparisons. It was the best facility for my mom who has dementia. It does have a memory care attached which will be available when the need comes.
