MEALS: All nutrition in vegetables is cooked out, due to over-over cooking. Personally? We do not eat pork (I know, it's personal preference), a lot of meals are pork and bacon is added to a lot of dishes/sides. I realize pork is cheap and economical. Chicken is also overcooked and hard to chew (yes, I have teeth). Salads are nice and nutritional. ACTIVITIES: After 3 pm and evenings, there are no activities offered. No get togethers or games. Weekends there is nothing unless you have friends or relatives to come and take you places. Transportation is offered M-W-F, only between 8 & noon, no afternoon appointments. VALUE FOR COST: For those barely surviving on Social Security and a small pension, it seems expensive, since any extras you might want to enjoy, you have to have money to purchase. Not complaining, just stating a fact for some of us who are struggling and have to families to help provide little extras like; transportation, eating out, extra food purchases, personal and etc.

We were recently looking to move my aunt from another facility here in Grand Rapids that had cut services, and a friend recommended Sentinel Pointe. I stopped in for a visit and was immediately impressed. The building is beautiful and the amenities are very wonderful. More importantly, it was very obvious that Sentinel Pointe has a caring staff. I was given a tour by [name removed], who is the Sales Director. As we went through the building, [name removed] greeted every resident we saw by name. Also, many of the staff have worked there for quite a few years, some of them even since the building opened over 20 years ago. We brought my aunt for a tour shortly after that and she quickly agreed that this was the right move. She has now been there a week, and is loving it. The full slate of activities has made it easy for her to get involved and she has already made new friends. In what could have been a very stressful situation, Sentinel Pointe made it very easy.

Moving our mother to Cambridge Place Assisted Living has been a wonderful experience for our family. [name removed] and the entire staff at Cambridge Place are warm, inviting, helpful and very accommodating. They made every step of our tour, contract, and move in go very smoothly. Our mother is very happy with the activities, meal services and personal care. Her mobility has improved and she has made several friends. The facility is clean, warm and inviting for visitors as well. We definitely recommend the “family” atmosphere at Cambridge Place.

Our loved one does not participate in the activities so we cannot rate those. The value is something I appreciate the most and I would recommend this community to other families.

They make a point to know everyone by name, and to get to know some personal information in order to interact with them better. There are lots of ways they could improve on the food! Dad doesn't eat there at all, even though it is included in his rent. These are his issues: 1) the meal times are very short (9:00-10:45am, 12:00-1:45pm & 4:00-5:45pm), and are spaced way too close together, they need to start earlier and end later), 2) everyone comes en masse to each meal, which means there is a lot of waiting (to get in the dining hall, to get someone to take your order, to get your food); instead of assigning shift times (like [name removed] Hills does) which allows for less waiting all the way around, 3) the food is very bland, and can't be made to one's liking, 4) he prefers to eat his own food because he can get it quickly, get it served hot, and have it taste the way he expects it to taste. He says by the time he has gone through all the waiting to eat in the dining hall, and has finally eaten, within a short time later, they are ready to begin the next meal, and he says he isn't hungry yet.

I want to tell you our family thanks your service everyday...[name removed] loves it there and is living her best life. 5 for every question!!!! They are friendly and helpful people. There are so many activities and different ways to connect to people. The services they provide are top notch.

This was the 3rd facility that we had placed my sister-in-law in a matter of 3 months. She is in the memory care part of Ashley Court. We met with [name removed] and [name removed] before they met Beverly. We talked about our concerns and [name removed] likes and dislikes. We also shared our problems with the 2 previous facilities. They then met with her and made her feel comfortable and wanted. Most of all they are very attentive to her needs and will call me with any concerns and discuss a solution. We are very happy with her care.

This is the best of all the places I looked into. I'm happy and safe here. I still have a vehicle so I can come and go as I please. Changing your life can be hard but people are here to help you make the transition. I was a little salty but I came through because I kept telling myself that it was the best option. I am grateful that I had the option.

. I truly loved Ashford court. I love the building. I love the people that work there. The cost everything overall I would say my overall experience with them was amazing. This was my first experience ever going through a situation like this with my grandmother and they taught me so much overall. Also I couldn't have done it without them.

The care was all and all good. Mom needed the next level of care. When we got her in that level, it was almost too late. We called in hospice. To me they seemed short handed on weekends. It's hard to be everywhere at once. I would recommend Highland Estates to others looking.

Staff is so friendly. And so patient. [name removed] is great and the whole team follows suit. We couldn't be happier with Dad's care there

Loved one required memory care. I reached out for placement and this was the first facility that called me back. Friendly, welcoming, nice tour. Facility is light, cheerful with great leadership and staff. My loved one was well cared for and loved that everyone knew his name. Facility is clean, resident rooms cleaned weekly. They provided excellent assistance to my loved one. Food was tasty. This was our first experience with a Senior living facility and the management and staff at Summerfield set a very high bar.

I think for anyone who lives in Cuyahoga Falls or Stow Cardinal Village is very convenient. The staff is very friendly. It is very organized. The meal plan is very good. The activities are all planned ahead. The rooms are very clean and well maintained There is also an outdoor patio that is very nice and convenient. Get together with family the laundry area and where you can throw your trash out are all very convenient. Everything in one place it’s a very nice place.

I would recommend Corby Place to others. [Name removed] runs the facility and she is fantastic, she calls me with any issues. The nursing staff is also great. My uncle's apartment is cleaned once a week and his laundry is also done. I have no complaints. We love Corby Place!

Our home was a mile from the facility so I was there 2-5 times a day and that made a difference. This is a very small facility which I found appealing. The staff took a real interest in Ken and helped me along the way. I felt he was safe and they genuinely cared about both of us. I encourage others to look at it. I interviewed 6 facilities before choosing Fairhaven.

The staff is great. The place is spacious and the residents all seem to be happy. I would definitely recommend Ashford Court to other families looking.

The staff at Ashford Court are very friendly and accommodating. The food is really good and they have a nice variety. Housekeeping does a pretty good job. There is good communication with the staff. The building is always clean and smells nice. I would recommend Ashford Court to others as an option.

Very friendly, on top of things, feels like your home. They have different size rooms, all are pretty big. They do laundry for you every day, give you toiletries if needed. I would recommend them to other families.

She lived a long and healthy life to the age of 91. We were very happy with Sentinel Pointe.
