My overall experience with A Place for Mom was a 5 of 5. They worked with me on mom's needs and budget. We were able to place mom at Fairhaven in Denton. Within a mile of my home. I am still impressed with the entire staff and directors. Everyone knows my mom and me, I'm able to walk in and check on mom through the staff. They have taken time to get to know her and her habits and preferences. They all take time to check on her and visit. She feels at home there and is pleased that no matter what her care needs are she never has to leave her room. They have a variety of activities for mom to partake in, outings for lunch or shopping to in-house games or entertainment. They have taken advantage of the local universities to bring in musical talent to play for the residents. The facility is bright and tidy for and the outdoor grounds are well cared for. Mom always enjoys sitting outside in a natural setting.

Staff is great and really cares about the residents. Cleanliness is excellent. Food is very good and rooms are a good size with good individual temperature control. Single floor layout is nice, some buildings are multistory and every floor looks the same, can be confusing for some residents.

The facility appeared well kept and in good condition. Food and other services offered seem above other places toured. Residents enjoy the living and interaction with several having been there for years. Apartments are spacious and well maintained.

My mother was admitted with dementia and received excellent care, then later she was diagnosed with a terminal illness unfortunately but the care she received in her final days was wonderful... She left this world feeling loved

My mother was in the memory care. We were so blessed to have her here. She was very cared for and always doing fun activities that kept her mind occupied. I can't say enough good things!! Mom loved all of the other residents and staff. Thank you for your care.

Staff was kind and welcoming, residents seemed loved and cared for. Facility presence was clean and without odor. During activities residents happily mingled with each other and seem very content with their surroundings.

I was very comfortable at this facility. The areas were clean and well maintained. The manager answered my questions so I understood everything. The apartment my husband will be staying in was large, which will make room for all my husband's comfort.

They are amazing! Staff is super friendly and helpful. They genuinely care. They make the residents feel loved.

I love it here! I don't have to do anything here. No one asking to make a cake, etc. that's such a good thing.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff seems pretty great and [name removed] is perfect for that place. Yes, we would recommend Summerfield Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

They were great to work with but we needed to find a facility with additional services to better support my Mom. I would recommend to others.

The food is fine. Just need to convince Mom it is not a restaurant and the staff is still learning her likes. So far Mom enjoys the bingo, found a book to read, and likes the puzzle selection. I really appreciated your organization's help with finding places that were reasonable for but quality for her limited income. In talking with others, have not ran into anyone that had negative comments. The staff was helpful to us as well to be patient and kept reminding us that it is an adjustment for Mom but she would adjust and she is.

The staff and facilities exceeded my expectations. Clean facility with professional and friendly staff. Very thorough tour. Thank you to everyone that I was introduced to. We look forward to my in-laws moving in.

I would give a 5 in all categories. We have not tried activities as of yet. It is quite and peaceful. The residents will speak to you when they see you!. If there are any questions or concerns, calling the office takes care of it. The properties are well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Their activity person in the Memory Care Unit is awesome with everyone. The rooms are nice and large And A Place For Mom couldn't have been more helpful.

My loved one is a resident at Ashford Court. I would rate the overall experience at 5. My brother eats his meals in the dining room and has indicated to me that he hasn't had a bad meal yet, he is pleased with the food service. We also contract with Preferred Senior Care at Ashford for med management, and we have found the nurses to be very caring and dedicated. They will notify you in advance if refills are behind schedule. The nurses are very nice. My brother has had no complaints about the staff.

People there get a 5 star. They are very friendly, kind and helpful. Overall cleanliness is great. Dining timeliness isn't that great, more so on the weekends. Sometimes food isn't very hot, but mostly tastes good and decent portions for a senior. They have several activities, live music. My dad is in a Studio for now. It is Larger than 2 other facilities I checked out. Overall, I'm quote pleased with the facility.

Staff is 5 Cleaning people 2-turnover, changing dates and average work. Food 4. Staffing is an issue in dining area but overall mom is happy with food Activities-4. Mom involved in various card groups, bingo, 2 church services and Bible Study. There aren't a lot of outside trips to choose from (at least that I'm aware of). I think last winter there was a casino trip scheduled, mom signed up and it was cancelled bc of some illness going around. That sort of thing happens but I'm not aware of them offering this again. Regardless of the individual ratings, overall, my mom is very happy there, so overall I'd say 5, but there is room for improvement in various areas and staffing is the weakness.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Dining room is open, comfortable and easy to navigate. Menu is easy and varied. Food is tasty- not too fancy or salty. Servers are friendly and courteous. The facility is on the smaller side and easy to navigate.

They treated my dad with dignity.
