There are a small number of apartments at Anthology, so my 91 year old mother has been able to make friends quickly. She is not overwhelmed. The staff is caring and willing to do extras for the residents.

We toured Holiday Deepwood Estates and the tour was good. However, the facility is very old, dark, and a bit depressing. The staff was nice and helpful. We just didn't feel it was the place for our loved one.

Haywood Estates is lovely. They're in a transition right now. The manager is new, and there is a lot of turnover. The ones who have left seem to be the ones who paid the most attention to the residents. Some of the ones they have hired have been good, but it's getting much more rules based and rigid than it was when I first came here. Dining needs work but is improving. The dining room is not very clean - I don't believe they sweep the floors but once a week. The salt shakers are often empty. And they are out of many condiments (butter, jelly, cream, etc.) The activities are not challenging enough, and I'm not a fan of Bingo. The therapy department that has a clinic here is wonderful. The beauty shop is good. I like my apartment. It has worked out well, and I really like how quiet it is. Overall I do like it here.

I needed to move Mom to Greenville from another facility out of state, as she is 93 and I needed her closer to me. Haywood Estates in Greenville is not the facility that the previous one was, but I can indeed see that they are making great strides in improvement, as Haywood has a new administrator. Mom's apartment is really lovely and spacious, but the staffing has suffered since Covid, as with all facilities. Mom's biggest complaint is that the food is not up to the standard that she is accustomed to. Again, the new administrator is making wonderful changes, but the residents have no kitchens, so they have no option but to eat what is served to them in the dining room. I do know that the administrator is working on that. I have eaten there with her, and it is okay, but the menu is limited. That is the only real complaint the I've heard from her consistently. Also, the location of Haywood Estates is terrific. It is close to everything (mall, grocery, entertainment and senior action) and they do most things very well... just the food needs improvement. That is very fixable.

They seem to be short staffed a lot. It has gotten a lot better in the last 30 days. All are very friendly helpful and nice.

I reached out to Haywood Estates looking for somewhere for my Dad. [name removed] was quick to respond with how Haywood could meet the needs and stepped right in to make him feel at home. My dad moved in [date removed] and the staff does care and makes and effort to address any concern that I have in a prompt manner. They offer many included and a-la carte amenities that you can pick and choose from with the care partners they have.

I like living at The Fountains at The Albemarle. The residents and staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is very nice, a good size, plenty of storage area. They provide a wide range of activities.

They have improved on the housekeeping schedule for laundry and bed linens. There could be improvement in choice of beverages with lunch and dinner.

This facility is very good. I've not noticed very much negativity. The staff are friendly and do work with you if there are any problems or concerns, which there's been nothing major for us. Communication with the family is very good. Housekeeping is once a week and pretty good. They offer a good variety of activities. They also offer transportation. I do like the idea of entering the building with a key fob. The only drawback is that you only get one card, but it's a regulation and I understand. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Every time we come to visit our loved one the staff members are always very friendly, and we love that residents are always up and out of their rooms interacting with one another. The meals and dining service has gone downhill some but we do know they are working to improve that. Our loved one does enjoy bingo ad when the library comes. She also enjoyed the day trip where they went out to lunch.

The Fairmont is an adequate facility, it is not as bright and shiny and new as some others that we looked at, but the value is great. I definitely thought it was the best.. The whole holiday group I really just don't think you can beat it, they are all over. I would definitely recommend The Fairmont to others looking.

It is a nice facility. Staff was good and they answered my moms call bell in a timely manner. My mom liked most of the meals. Always understaffed, but that seems to be the problem everywhere.

Holiday Haywood Estates was fine - it just wasn't a good fit for my loved one, who needed more care than they could offer. The apartment was great. And so were the staff, although they were short-staffed like everybody else, and things didn't always happen right when you thought they would. The food was good. Know that they have staff there during the day, but not during the night. We had an emergency occur in the night, and I just wish they could have had staffing at night.

They take care of the people well. They go out of there way to help people, wherever they need help. The food that they serve, they go above and beyond, with the different times that they offer meals. The transportation system could be improved, for store visits, and outings.

My loved one likes the food. They are trying hard to care for my loved one. The new director is amazing. The food could be better. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

My only complain is they need to answer emails from family members faster. But overall the facility is really fantastic. And my mom is happy there.

I am very happy, everyone is helpful. It's really a friendly place. They have a physical therapy department, so I don't have to leave the building. The food has improved. The activities is really good. The value for money is good I picked this community because of the location, and it was a familiar area.

Stunning facility, friendly residents, good menu variety....HR is challenged to hire long term staff, as are most businesses currently.

The building is clean, but my friends room could be cleaner. The food is okay, and there is no complaints. We picked because it was closer to my house. They need to improve on hiring more staff. I would recommend to other families.

My loved one was there a short period of time. The food was good. They had a lot of activites. We picked this community, because it was convient, there was an opening and they had a good reputaion. They need to offer more care for the residents. They did not have back-up when the nurse was out. They were also very slow about reconciling billing issues. In addition, A Place for Mom was a lifesaver.
