My loved one is currently a resident at Elison Park Independent Living and most everything has been great for her at this facility so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals and activities are also great. As for the value for cost, they substantially raise the rent every year. They did cut the amount that they raised my loved one's rent in half after she went and complained. Overall, I would recommend Elison Park to others.

My loved one was on hospice while she was at Elison Park and they went above and beyond to check on her and make friends with her because she never wanted to leave her apartment. Elison Park staff were so kind to us and her friends, since we were all taking care of her. After being there for about a week she would tell us that she never wanted to leave. We didn't realize when we moved her in that she needed another level of care, so it was up to me to take full time care of her and the staff was just so sweet to me when they didn't have to be. She just passed away in January and I couldn't be more grateful that we found Elison because we would not have been able to afford anything else and she was just so happy there.

My mom moved to Houston from another state and she absolutely loved her experience at Elison Park. It’s located in a nice, safe area where she has access to lots of shopping and entertainment! She loves her new place!

My sister and I were referred to Elison Park for our Mom. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We told them our concerns and what we were looking for. My Mom was tired of cooking for herself and wanted a chef to cook for her. Well, she got her wish. She also says the food is very good and looks forward to lunch or dinner. She loves all the Court yards and the squirrels are hilarious to watch. We are happy because she is happy. Thank you Elison Park.

I needed to find a place for my older brother. As I started my search a young lady named [Name Removed]. I guess she could see that I was searching through a network. Anyway, I’m so glad she called. The staff is friendly and helped my mom feel comfortable. The communication with the family was poor. I had to call to speak with the director when I wanted information. Housekeeping was okay. The move in process was okay. Not much help from staff. The meals were good. I would not recommend this place if your loved one needs more care. They do not live up to the things promised.

The facility is very nice. All the employees are very helpful and pleasant The only thing I have an issue with is the food, especially breakfast, the food is usually cold. Maybe they can invest in some heat lights. What we have is perfect for my husband & myself

Staff are very helpful in answering questions. Facility is very disability and pet friendly. Staff are understanding and helpful of residents needs.

It's a warm and welcoming community on both the assisted and independent side The average response to a call request is 5 minutes that time is electronically monitored. Their review ratings are available for review. The property is extremely well kept, very caring staff and friendly residents. I am now on the food committee and we will be dialoging with our new executive director.

It was the first one offered to me; the closest one to my home and everything is so much closer to me now. I never saw any other place but this one and I liked it from the start.

I moved here after living at another independent living facility where I had lived fo r8 years. I love it here, it offers everything I wanted. Activities, transportation, delicious meals and friendly efficient staff.

Macular degeneration had caused my sister to be blind, and advanced Parkinson's caused her to have gradually increasing short term memory loss. There came a point when home care was no longer adequate nor feasible, and her need for more supervision became apparent. An Assisted Living facility was not enough but she wasn't technically ill so a nursing home wasn't the answer either. What to do? I contacted A Place for Mom and am so glad I did. I explained that I live at a distance and needed all the help I could get. They immediately put me in touch with a counselor (After investigating their numerous recommendations I narrowed my preferences down to three excellent facilities and Stone Valley Memory Care proved to be a great fit for my sister's level of awareness, function, and her personality. An important factor is that there is a doctor routinely accessible to visit residents as needed. A big convenience is also a little salon on the premises so she doesn't have to go out to get her hair done or nails trimmed. And a huge benefit (since she loves good food) is the talented chef in house who customizes a menu to special needs; my sister unfortunately has a problem of crumbling teeth due to her PD. While getting her settled into Stone Valley, I came and went at various times over the course of four days and based on what I was seeing - the care by the staff and reactions of the other residents - I had every confidence that my family and I had made the right decision to home her there. In addition, I had worried that moving my sister out of her beloved home would be difficult for her but I promised her I'd find a place for her where I'd be happy to live myself if I were in the same situation. And that I did! The environment at Stone Valley is calm, clean, very upscale and welcoming, and it's evident that the staff is attentive, knowledgeable and honestly caring. It wasn't long before my sister made friends there and told me on several occasions that she felt so safe, secure and comfortable. She said that if she could no longer be at home, this was certainly the next best thing. Obviously, my sister, my family, her friends, and others who love her are so pleased that we found such a wonderful setting for her. And we are immensely grateful for the guidance we received from A Place for Mom.

Incredible residents that enjoy this nurturing community with caring staff, activities, 5 star dinning experience and health services. Every apartment with excellent amenities, views, courtyards and services to meet individual needs of all levels of care. The social calendar is extensive with daily and weekly events. Highly recommend for your loved one! My mother of 86 years old has thrived within this community for 2 years now! Drop by say hello anytime! Everyone always welcomed for Thirsty Thursday for snacks drinks and entertainment!
