Spring Hills

Overall the care is very good. Whenever I have a concern, I am received with appreciation to keep the standard of care above average. Knowing that the world is imperfect and there are times when mishaps occur, I always know that if I voice my concern it will be addressed and corrected.

Warm and friendly people (all) who consistently monitor and care for the residents. The staff is very personable and the residents feel at home and cared for. The kitchen staff work very hard, always smiling and helping everyone w/ their meal. The food is very good.

A feeling of warmth encompassed our tour of Spring Hills. That feeling of warmth along with compassion and quality of care continue to surround my mother, who has been a resident at this facility for almost two months. The staff is very caring and attentive. there are many activities and the food is really great! Sincere thanks to everyone at Spring Hills!

My wife was a resident from 2011 to 2012. My mother has been a resident since 2012. The facility and amenities are top notch. However, the staff stands out above these. Admin, nursing staff, and support folks go above and beyond each and every day. As a family member I have complete confidence that my mother receives the best possible care.

Spring Hill has been great. Once I got past the person in billing that was difficult, they have been wonderful. Monica and Fran were amazing and really made the difference for me. Dania keeps me posted on activities and general information. I love that they have fewer memory care patients than most facilities. I know my mom has the attention she needs.

My mom was adamant about not going to assisted living for years. I arranged a medical transport to Spring Hills for her. She called me the same night and said "What a nice surprise." She loves the food and frequently talks about how friendly the staff are. We have found the atmosphere lovely and the staff amazingly attentive. We also enjoy having meals there with her because the food is wonderful and the dining room is like a nice restaurant with a full menu. I never dreamed my mom would be so happy in an assisted living facility. I sleep better at night knowing my mom is well cared for.

Pretty much everything has been really good there. The people are nice and the staff is really friendly and helpful and wiling to do anything we ask and the few residents I have met are very nice as well, so I have no complaints about the facility.

I was impressed by what I saw. The memory unit was on the second floor with a figure 8 style hallway. Living units are single and multiple arrangements. Staff was friendly. We met BJ who functions as the single point of interface between the caregiver and the facility. My needs have changed since touring the first 3 facilities. I think I am now interested in memory care and not assisted living for the both of us. Because of this some of the comments about the earlier 3 are no longer valid.

We are so thankful for the amazing staff here at Spring Hills! They have made a true home for my mother. Everyday is special to her and we are at peace knowing that she is in awesome hands with the staff at Spring Hills Mount Vernon.

I'm a new resident at Spring Hills, so far the staff have been so nice to me. I don't have much family here, so everyone has been so helpful. Having the staff here to help me has made this move much easier.

My Mother suffers from the loss of most of her sight and demetia. SpringHills has been a wonderful experience. They are so caring and even with her limitations, she feels safe and is able to have more freedom than she did living with me. I appreciate all they do

The staff & activities are exceptional; prompt responses to questions and/or concerns. When you walk in, the receptionist (s ) greet you as if you are the only visitor of the day. Recommended with enthusiasm

Spring Hills is the best place my mother could be. The room she lives in is wonderful, the food they cook is delicious, and there are so many things for her to do throughout the day. I think this place is a wonderful home for loved ones. The care is above and beyond. The care givers really care about the residents. The whole staff wants the best for loved ones. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I recently moved my father to this location. The staff was more than helpful and really went above and beyond to make this experience a great one. From administration to physical move in the team at this facility conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism, enthusiasm and courtesy.

The Memory Care unit upstairs in Spring Hill was just wonderful to my mother. I can not express how much care was given to her. The nurses and aids had so much patience and understanding and new how to handle every situation that came up. The experience really came through. I can not say enough about them. I would have to unfortunately add that the hospice care that Spring Hill recommended to us close to my mother's end was horrible though. If I had it to do over I would not use the hospice care that is provided there - Embracing Hospice. After my mother's passing, I asked to speak to the Manager there about the horrible care they provided and have not heard from them so that was also disappointing. So, Spring Hill is all thumbs up as far as nurses and aids, but stay away from the hospice care. They only got in the way and provided horrible care when we could have used them the most. They should be shut down - period.

They are doing a good job so far. We are happy with them. Anything that we bring up they address right away. I don't have any complaints or concerns. I would give them five out of five.

I thought that everything went excellent on the tour.  I wasn't able to try any of the food, but the dining area looked good.  They take the people who live here shopping and to Target once a week.  I've seen them out at the supermarket where I shop.  They keep them active.  Food looks great,  staff is attentive, and the reception area as well as the outside is very clean and that's very important. However, I think the price of the community is to high. Overall I think the place is excellent.

Although my Mom has only been a resident for 3 months, we are extremely happy with Spring Hills, and would recommend them to anyone considering staying there or having their loved ones stay there.
