Spring Hills

I am totally at peace and comfort knowing that my mom is with this amazing community. My mom's health has improved since she moved into Spring Hills. She loves the food and the people she has met. I am so satisfied with this community and the staff.

Art program in Spring Cottage is a very good idea for seniors with Dementia. Seeing my mother's paintings on display confirmed my belief that she is well cared for and that there are activities to stimulate her. Having a BBQ outside with the art show was a very pleasant afternoon with my mother.

The single and two-bedroom units felt very comfortable, even having a small kitchen. The calendar was filled with a variety of recreational activities. The facility was very clean and everyone was friendly.

I would like to say I was pleasantly surprised at my visit to Spring Hills Mount Vernon, Senior Living Facility in Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Tracey [removed] was very pleasant, very professional, expressed herself very well and very informative regarding the care one could expect and receive for their love ones. I have been to a lot of Rehabilitation Centers and I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I stepped inside the Mount Vernon Senior Living Facilities (definitely nothing like what I had experienced at Rehabilitation Centers) staff, friendliness of personnel, cleanliness of the facility, decor, rooms, outdoor sitting area, and the overall services provided. Also, I was impressed that Ms. Beoncia [removed] (Director of Sales) gave me a follow-up call to inquire about visit. I also received a follow-up call from Ms. Tracey [removed]. I would highly recommend Springs Hills Mount Vernon to my family members and friends.

We are all doing great since our mother started receiving services from Spring Hills Home Care. They are very good at what they do. Our mother didn't want to go into a community, so A Place for Mom suggested home care for her and it has worked out great. Everybody from the agency has been helpful and very compassionate to my mother and her needs. We are really happy with all the help we got from Christine, she was amazing with everything from the moment we talked to her. I would recommend this agency to anyone, they are very good.

I have been extremely pleased with the attentiveness and care from each member of the staff. They work very hard to keep me informed of how my mom is doing and care for her almost as much as I do!

My entire family was impressed by the level of care, quality, and respect that Dad received.

We chose Spring Hills Singing Woods over other assistant living locations for the following reasons: 1. made my mom welcome by the hospitality by all the staff (nurses, dietitian, cleaning personnel & management) . 2. other residents interacted with my mom making her feel "special". 3.when management showed us around, they answered all our questions & let us make the final decision without any pressure. 4. we thought the price was fair. 5. it was explained to us that they would keep mom busy so she wouldn't feel lonely.

The staff is very warm and inviting. They do a great job taking care of my mom. My mother loves living there and is very happy with everything.

Beautiful. Clean. Rooms very nice. Very friendly. Compared to the 5 other locations I have toured [Removed] so far asked many questions in regards to my mom as a person in order to get to know her. They are very close by. I preferred the Studio over the one bedroom. One bedroom has full kitchen which is not necessary for mom. Close to grandchildren too. Will wait for them to contact me to discuss financing and evaluation. Met with Erio 9am 3 7. Liked that he made the effort to speak w nursing due to my concern they would except mom her level of care. Evaluation set for this Thursday 3 10 at 10am. I called and canceled moms evaluation for tomorrow. The 2nd one she had today did not go well. I was not there. So to give her me a rest I canceled and will call Monday to reschedule or not Ill call either way.

Everyone here has gone out of their way to make my aunt feel at home. She has made friends and enjoys the extra activities that are so thoughtfully provided. Any time we pass a staff member they say hello to my Aunt by name... She just beams!

Shawanna showed great care in coming to visit my father while he was at another facility for in-patient rehab. Shawanna's cheerful demeanor and personal attention truly uplifted my father's spirits and helped him to look forward to returning to Spring Hill.

Beautiful lobby. Rooms nice. Clean. Very friendly. Compared to the 5 other locations I have toured (Wiley Brandywine CareOne Harmony Village The Palace) so far asked many questions in regards to my mom as a person in order to get to know her. They are very close by. Close to grandchildren too.

Great folks very comfortable and comforting. We are absolutely happy. Surprisingly their monthly rate is nearly 1k less than most others particularly for such all-around quality Please see my review in Senior Living Advisor for more.

We are very pleased with the change in my mother since she moved to Springhill. She is more social, eats more and seems happier in this atmosphere. The building is well maintained and kept so clean. We love the personalities of everyone we have met. Anytime we have a question and ask Dani she answers everything and has been a big help. Very welcoming.

I was very impressed with the first person I came in contact with when looking for a place for my cousin. That person was Tracey [removed]. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, patient and professional. Her customer service skills are top notch - she definitely made an impression on us and what she told us about Spring Hills has been true. I am happy we selected this assisted living community for my cousin.

The process to send a close loved one to assisted living is always a difficult one, but the transition was made pleasant by the wonderful staff at Spring Hill Mount Vernon. The staff was amazingly transparent with the whole process and provided us with plenty of information. The tour of the building was spectacular. I have never been in such a facility that felt so homey and clean. We were able to look inside some of the rooms to get a feel for it and they were so well maintained and decorated. Each unit was a mini apartment. We got to see the activities that were provided for the residents along with the meal plan, and it made choosing this place so easy and stress free. Furthermore, each staff member I met was pleasant and genuinely cared. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my mother in the care of this place and would recommend it to others without a doubt.

This facility is the best that I have been to. Everyone is super sweet and friendly. They take full care of all the residents. It definitely feels like I'm right at home. Facility is very clean and food is amazing. Couldn't be happier!

Such an excellent facility. Kind and caring staff. My father enjoys the food and I think the grounds and facility are well kept.

This community is very clean and smells very fresh. Every staff member I have met is very kind and considerate. Gina made our transition to the community very easy. My husband has only been here a few days his only complaint is the food. Food is cold + bland.
