Spring Hills

As soon as I walked in to Spring Hills I knew this was (HOME) for my Aunt. She was at a nearby facility and it was like being in a hospital. I didn't want her to live like that. Spring Hills looks like an upscale hotel. The halls are wide with art work on the walls. The dinning room and Great room are so cherry and bright with large windows so you can see outdoors and the trees. You are handed a menu for breakfast , lunch and dinner and there are at least fifteen or more choices for each meal and if there is something not listed you can order it. The staff are friendly the facility is very clean. There are daily activities and outings, movies and a beautiful outdoor secure patio area. Once you walk in you will be impressed and know that your loved family member will be at home and safe. I decorated my Aunts room and hung her pictures, curtains and had her furniture so it would be like home and she said it was beautiful

I was amazed at how well the staff did during the hurricane! They consistently checked on every resident and always kept is calm. I didn't hear one of them complain. They also kept us updated, fed and Safe

My mother-in-law is at Singing Woods. It has a very homey feeling to it. The rooms are good size, and the cost is good as well. The staff is very good. They are very friendly and caring. The director and nursing director are both outstanding, they always make me feel better and address any concerns I have. The sales person was very helpful as well. The nurses and caregivers are attentive. The food is very good. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The facility is easy to get around because it is all on one floor. The other thing is, they have animals there that visit. Recently had alpaca's they were adorable and the residents loved them. They have activities. They have sing alongs, entertainment, socials and daily excercise. Our loved gets great care and I would recommend them to others.

Placing a family member in a residential, long-term care facility is one of the most emotionally wrenching decisions anyone ever has to make. In an ideal world, my wife and I would have loved to keep my mother-in-law [Removed] at home, even with her increasing need for professional caregiving. That unfortunately is not an option and we had to find a place that will be about as close as possible to the home where she lived and the environment that she’ll be leaving shortly. The task of finding the right place for a loved one is sad, guilt-ridden, lonely and uncertain. Unfortunately, most of us don't know what makes a place and its people right. We were fortunate to meet [Removed]. She listens, understands, she asks good questions without being intrusive and has shown very good understanding of our concerns. She's efficient, she is responsive and she communicates well. She was instrumental in helping us to make that very important decision of select Spring Hills to be my mother-in-law’s new home. On behalf of my wife Carole and myself I would like to compliment you on having someone of [Removed] quality to be the ambassador for Spring Hills community and ask that you please convey to [Removed] our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the work she has done in making us feel good about this very difficult resolution. In closing, I hope that [Removed] warmth and caring extends to the rest of the staff as it is a very important factor for my mother-in-law’s speedy integration into the community and for us to diminish our anxiety over whether or not Pierrette will receive the love and caring that is so vital to all of us.

We did tour this community for the care for my mom.They did not seem to have the care that we were looking for at the time. We did not think that my mom would be comfortable. The community was clean and activities are offered. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of loved one

My parents like the food and they are able to get what they want. They offer different clubs including a cooking club. They also have activities such as arts and crafts. The staff are awesome. The activities director is in contact with us to make sure my parents are enjoying the activities and seeing what they can do to help them get acclimated. I would recommend this community.

We were in this community for a time period. We like this community and the staff was very helpful. We like the menu and knowing that the community is clean. We needed additional care. We really like this community for good care. We would recommend this community for excellent care with a good value for other families

My Mom lived here in Memory Care for 8 years. From Day 1 up until the very end I was so grateful she was here. Until she lost her ability to communicate clearly, every day I visited her she would tell me what a great place it was. In her first 2 or 3 years there, she was able to go on some excursions with assisted living and loved them. The staff in memory care truly CARED even when my Mom declined and could not interact with them in the same way. They treated my Mom like she was their own Mom. Like any facility, once in a while there would be some glitch or change of staff that didn't work, but it was minor and addressed immediately. It was always clean, no odor. I cannot say enough about how great they were and how grateful I am.

The nicest people in the world!!! My Mom has very advanced dementia and all that comes with that and everyone was wonderful with her especially in the area of kindness mixed with lots of fun humor, which Mom really likes!

Thank you for the pictures and commentary. It has been many years since I have seen my Mom so happy and yes, and as healthy as could be expected for a woman of her age and with her health problems. I can not thank you and the staff at Spring Hills enough. God bless and thank you again for caring for my Mom.

This is an excellent place for my needs we have religious mass and rosary, good works. The aide’s nurses keep us healthy and care for us. The activities are great as are the activity staff.

Love it here.

I think this is so good place to retire. People are good. Food is good. Atmosphere is good. In all everything is great!!!!
