Serenity Gardens

Can’t say enough! We looked at many places for our mom. The first moment we stepped into Serenity Gardens, we knew this was the place. Beautifully located under the trees in Friendswood, you instantly feel the love and care they spend keeping it nice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by [name removed], the Director, and one of the residents. Both a joy to talk to. The care you get in this smaller version of memory care will not be beat! They truly involve the family and the workers in everything (if you want to!). I feel like I’ve gained an entire family from this experience. They make home cooked meals, (invite me at times) and are constantly holding hands and listening to the residents. Very loving and caring. Even with a camera in mom’s room, the love came through and I shared many videos to thank them for loving my mom. One time I walked in and they were playing baseball with noodles and balloons. My mom was the Nolan Ryan of the group! Thank you SG for being you!

It is a very nice, clean facility with a very attentive and caring staff. I would give it a 5. It is a memory care facility, so all outside doors are locked to keep residents from wandering off. The staff closely monitors who is coming in and out. The residents are generally in the common area, not in their rooms during the day. Meals are family style, with all residents sitting down together to eat. I think that helps provide normalcy and a sense of community.

I would recommend. The staff genuinely cares about the residents. Serenity has the advantage of only having a max of 16 residents at a time.

The thing we liked about Serenity Gardens Dickinson was there are only 16 residents at the home.

Serenity Gardens has been great with my grandfather. He recently moved in and everyone has been so caring and Comforting. Very family- oriented.

Serenity Gardens Deer Par has been a really really good facility so far. The staff members are super nice and show a great deal of concern to their residents. It is a brand new building and very nice from a physical standpoint. They treat everybody like family and conveyed that to us even before moving in. They have a great deal of patience and care for their residents. It is worth having our loved one there and we would recommend to other families. They also have really good activities.

The atmosphere is positive at Serenity Garden. As small as the staff is they work hard. The room was great for our loved one. The food was good. I initially saw board games, and I didn't see them on return visits. The community did try to get the residents involved in different exercise

This is a small community and the one on one attention was wonderful for my mom. This community felt like home, and the director was amazing. He even visited mom in the hospital. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Currently first. This had the most home-like feel of all places, so far. Small number of residents, individualized care. Director seemed very hands-on. This was the first home where I saw many residents hanging out together. I was also invited to look in on a resident's room. She had her daughter there with her, visiting. This was very reassuring to me.

I was impressed with this facility; if they do half of what [Removed] told me, it should be a good place. Unfortunately, I'm afraid their pricing will be prohibitive for us. They do seem to take very good care of their residents.

The staff was nice and helpful when needed. The community is clean and maintained. I would recommend to families needing to have assisted living for family member. Families would like the good value.

When I toured the Serenity Gardens Dickson, I thought it was a very nice place. It was clean and everyone was very friendly. The only downfall was the price, it was more than what my mother could afford.

My mother is doing very well since her move to this community. The caregivers are taking very good care of her and they interact well with the other residents. They serve home cooked meals and a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. They also cut up the meat very well. I live far and can not visit every day, but I have good communication with them so I can check on my mom constantly.

My mom has recently moved in and is still adjusting. She seems very pleased with the food that is available and is happy with the variety. Alot of activities are offered to her to help stay active with others. The staff is taking good care of her to make sure that she does have what she is needed. The community is clean and well taken care of . Highly recommended to others for good care.

This community is a smaller and more intimate experience for your loved one. Everything is very well since moving my mother in law here its's a great experience so far. The community is nice looking and the staff here are very helpful and nice. Over all she is adjusting to the move and we are pleased with our choice to move her here I would recommend this community to my friends and family.

It's an extraordinary place. The care is very personalized. The family environment they have set up for dementia care is wonderful. It has a nice overall feel. The place is relatively new and was very well designed. It looks like a beautiful home, but it's actually a well-designed care center that is safe for the residents to live in. It's a really great place and I can't say enough about the cleanliness and the level of care provided there. The only thing is that it is expensive, but I feel like you are getting a lot for your money.

We loved this facility on our tour. It is very clean. The family that funs the facility are great people. It is not within my uncle's budget to place him here.

The community is beautiful and so far our experience with this community has been awesome. The lady has been great. We haven’t had a chance to try the food yet, but we’re looking forward to continuing to work with this community.
