They have a lot of activities however, my loved one just does not participate often in the activities. I have told my family about this community and they are warm and caring and the communication for their needs are great. They work to make it the best experience possible for the residents.

We chose Oakwood Senior Living because out of all of the facilities we saw, we were the most impressed with this facility. It is an old school that was converted into an assisted living facility. They charge 1 fee for the room, they also do an assessment but they do not charge you extra for the different levels of care. We have been so blessed to have found this place. He absolutely loves it and we would highly recommend them.

Our family had an in person tour and the renovated apartments were beautiful, but the community itself has a more nursing home feel to it. The lobby area right when you walked in was old, that was the first impression we got. However, everyone we met with was so welcoming and helpful.

Arbor Terrace of East Cobb has been a blessing to our family. The loving atmosphere & care my mother has been given is so appreciated. We feel like we are part of a family.

Our family had an in person tour and this was the nicest our of the community we looked at, but it was way to expensive. It was a great facility, it was smaller community so it provided more one on one care, but if the price was able to come down some this would of been our choice.

Arbor Terrace has been a good experience for my father who has resided there over 10 years. The delivery of messages and assistance in daily life skills are excellent. The loyalty of employees is also impressive.

We chose Garden Estates because I went in and we were able to get a special that was going on and also the location was great for me. The value for the money is amazing, the food is great quality, they have lots of fun activities, and the place is just exceptional. The director is magnificent and keeps families very updated with weekly emails. The staff is super friendly. It has been a great experience and I would absolutely recommend to others.

My husband and I moved my mother from Florida to Texas kicking and screaming five years ago, so when she first moved into The Pointe she was not a happy camper. The Management and Staff assured me that she would be okay, that they would win her over. And that they did. After a period of adjustment The Pointe felt like home to my mother and everyone there became her family. That's one of the many reasons I think The Pointe is so extraordinary. They have consistently taken the best care of her, not just physically but emotionally as well. My mother has had some mental challenges and those too are addressed with the utmost love and professionalism. In addition to the care they've given my mother, they have been there to support me as well. I'd also like to mention that the Encompass Home Health (Wound Care, PT, OT, etc) folks are equally attentive and fabulous in caring for the Residents. In my opinion, The Pointe really is the best of the best.

I moved my 89 yr old mother to Alexander House on May 12th, 2021. She had Advanced Vascular Dementia and needed Memory Care. It was a wonderful decision. The staff was caring and responsive. They took wonderful care of her and that was not an easy undertaking at times. The staff on both sides Assisted Living and Memory Care were the best. They were all wonderful to my Mom and the nurses were just A+. All the staff rocked and helped make the move very smooth. My mom celebrated her 90th birthday on [date removed]1. It was a great day. Her health deteriorated. I made the decision to start hospice at the end of July. The staff was supportive and kind, they were with me 1000% in the coming weeks. My mother was clean and comfortable. She passed on[date removed]. Everything was handled so compassionately. Throughout her stay the staff always kept me informed and took wonderful care of my Mother. I dont think you can get much better. If I could I would give them way more than 5 stars..

They cared about my loved one at this community. They did everything they could do to keep her there. I would recommend this community for your loved ones. The staff were great and very good to my loved one.

The only bad part is the food. I wish they would please do something about the kitchen. A lot of times the food is cold, and it just looks and tastes disgusting, to the point that I'm having to bring my dad a lot of his meals. The atmosphere in the dining room is mostly assisted living people who are in really bad shape, which can be depressing for him since he's in independent living. He can opt to have food delivered to his room, but then it' s always so cold. He's not really interested in most of the activities. It would be nice if they offered more for people who are in less cognitive decline. But they have a beer tasting coming up soon, and that's the first thing he's ever possibly thought about going to. I believe they have new activities director, and this is one of the first things she put on the schedule. In general, it would be nice if independent and assisted living were more separate. They share all of the common spaces, and while I'm sure that has benefits for those who are in assisted living, it's not ideal for independent living. But the staff is really nice. And his apartment is set up nicely to accommodate mobility issues . The bathroom has a walk in shower with rails. Yet it looks nice and doesn't look like it's for old people. The housekeeping staff are really sweet. My dad really enjoys the woman who comes in and cleans. The staff in general are all very sweet. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that there's always somebody there that I can call to check on him if I'm ever worried or if he doesn't answer his phone, etc.

Can't even begin to thank this wonderful staff, from the director, marketing, med staff to the caregivers and everyone in between, for giving my granny her independence back and for being so kind and caring towards her. They really made her feel welcomed. This is a top notch community...head and shoulders above the others in the area. My grandmother loves all of the activities and has made new friends galore! Every time I see her she tells me how much she loves it there which is just music to my ears. To be honest I was really apprehensive about her going into assisted living but I know we made the right choice and I'm so glad we decided to move her there. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do because it's evident that it's from the heart.

Absolutely impressed with this place. Rooms are spacious, clean, great layout. Meals were impressive. Only negative is you pay an extra 300 a month to be on the bottom floor. I’d live her in a heartbeat.

My parents recently moved in, and the community is just wonderful: caring, conscientious, and the food and activities are great.

I would recommend the community highly. The community is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. My loved one loves it here. The staff is nice to my loved one. Some of the staff will wash my loved one's hair and polish their nails, going out of their way.

I would tell others that it is an excellent community. The staff are knowledgeable, and caring. The staff keep the families informed on their loved ones. If there is an issue, the staff call immediately and let the family know and handle the situation promptly.

I loved Greatwood and everything about it. As soon as i hâve my finances in order and sell my home I will ne moving to Greatwood. No more looking is necessary. Thank you for your assistance.

From what we have been able to see of the community it is very clean, and our loved one absolutely loves the meals they serve. They are doing the best they can with the activities during this past year they are keeping our loved one very engaged. We do feel when it comes to the value we are getting our money's worth for all the services and amenities they offer.

We did a virtual tour with the community and it was very good. The staff was very friendly and they provided lots of information. The community was very nice

This was the newest facility we saw. It was really pretty and very nice. I didn’t get to eat the food, but they had a lot more space here - bigger dining areas and recreation areas. When you walk into the lobby, it's really pretty. I met some of the people, and all of them seemed happy. The lady who took us on the tour was very helpful. She did a great job.
