The activities are opening back up, we can say that have done a fantastic job and doing their best getting the activities back. It is certainly a clean and beautiful place, physically the building and rooms are very nice. However, the people there have just been so easy to work with, and they sincerely have our loved ones best interest in mind.

We chose Anchor Bay at Pocasset at the time because of the cost of the facility. The apartment sizes here are really nice. It is hard to give an assessment right now because of the restrictions from covid that are still in place. So far my mom has been happy with it so I am happy.

We toured Methuen Village and it was a nice tour and they answered all of our questions that we had. It is a smaller community, only around 22 residents so I felt more crammed here than at some other places that we saw that were bigger. It did not seem as clean, they charged extra to do laundry, and it was more expensive so we went with another facility.

The facility is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and they communicate very well. However, they could improve on their orientation schedule for those who have mild dementia. Not for the memory care unit, but for regular assisted living.

I do believe that the staff is very caring. I think they are trying to provide complete medical care while following through with CDC guidelines, and they're doing so in a respectful way. Communication is generally pretty good, but sometimes the system needs some girdering. I think that Coivid is probably contributing to that. One thing that has impressed me is the auxiliary care providers. For example, the PA who is watching over my mom's health right now has called m a number of times with updates. And the PT has also called me with routine updates. And that really impresses me. Anchor Bay does a good job of keeping the residents pretty active, and they try to be creative with activities. They have a monthly "trip" to another city. In April, it was Paris. So the whole day was themed around Paris. They had a Cinco de Mayo buffet. They're just now starting in-town outings back up. The first bus trip was last week, and tomorrow they're going to go to the Dollar Store. I would recommend Anchor Bay to others. It's perhaps not as elegant as some, but I think the value is good.

The community has done a great job accommodating my loved one. Communication is good between the staff and our family and they keep us well informed and up to date. I would recommend this community to others.

Our loved one has been at the Anchor Bay facility for a couple months now and so far it has been a good experience. The community is clean considering it is currently undergoing construction, and the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly.

There has been some turnover in the community, my dad gets along with everyone there and the staff is very nice. They have had a good plan for covid and have kept the residence safe. The communication is also good when comes to covid and they have a weekly update letter. I would recommend this community to others

We chose Methuen Village because it was most affordable and the location. It was in between distance for all of the siblings. It was easy to get to for everybody. They did the Mediterranean diet here so it was very healthy, overall the food was pretty good. One thing he really liked was they would bring in entertainment for the residents. he always looked forward to that. My father thinks that they needed more activities geared for men, he was not into gardening or painting or things like that. My sister and I were here 2-3 times a week so we got to know the staff members very well. We had good experiences with them for the most part. They always really tried with my father and were very kind and responsive. I would definitely recommend the facility.

We really liked the layout of this community, it has a very homey feeling to it. It's more consolidated which we also really liked. The location is very nice, its centrally located and very accessible. Our loved ones room was right across the dining hall which we thought was nice. Her room overlooked a park area with nice trees. Our loved one never really complained about the food, so overall it was good. The activities looked great, our loved one just didn't always participate in them, but the staff did their best to keep everyone active. The food was good, they never really complained about it. We signed up for a certain level of care, like to have out loved one bathed. Sometimes she would refuse and we would still be charged for that service. We would have to pay for services we weren't getting at times. We didn't think it was deliberate, but we felt the departments at this community just needed to interact more with each other and understand their roles.

I would tell my friends that we want to move in and it is awesome. The food is great, we haven't eaten there in a bit due to COVID. The activities include: exercise groups, theater, art classes, card games, and outings to go shopping. They even have transportation for shopping in the area. They have monthly concerts. The family is able to come and listen to the concerts with their loved ones, this was prior to COVID. The shopping area is less that a mile away from this community. It is a beautiful community and the people are very friendly.

They have done really well with the Covid-19 pandemic and have done a really good job with keeping families up to date on what's doing on. They took precautions early on and stepped up to make sure they were protecting the residents. A little bit of staff turnover recently. We always found the community to be very clean when we visit. They are very conscientious about serving well balanced meals. Overall, we would recommend Nashoba Park to others!

In my mother's apartment specifically, we thought they could have done a better with cleaning the floors and the bathroom. Overall, however, the community was pretty clean. In the memory care side, they do a good job with getting to know the residents' habits really well, like their likes and dislikes. They could do better with personal hygiene with my mother. There are some small things that they won't do that are difficult for her to do on her own. When the community went on lock down as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we asked how they were going to handle my mother's personal needs since outside professionals were not allowed in anymore. All the directors at the community stepped up themselves and offered assistance to the residents, as opposed to sitting aside and managing the process from afar.

Location was a big factor for us. It was important for my mom to be near family.The community layout is great. The nursing staff is really good, some of the care staff is not as engaged. The food and outdoor space are good. They have changed management since we moved in and that was a smooth transition.

We had a relationship with Methuen Village before my mother moved in. She did respite stays there when we went on vacation. She got to know them and they got to know her so when she moved in it made the transition much easier. I don't have a lot to compare it to but in looking at other communities I feel they are a good value. They are very accommodating.

They are under a bit of construction which I like which means that my parents will be going into somewhat of a new place. The apartments are not being worked on though which makes me a bit hesitant as they seem a bit dark and worn, however the view I was shown from the one that is at the top of the budget had a gorgeous view. The manager [name removed] was quite pleasant, the tenants were all excited as channel 12 was arriving soon. My family enjoyed the scones they gave me. I think it may possibly be a fit for my parents.

Community was nice, but rep was a bit pushy and should listen more.

Loved the facility. The person we met with was very helpful and informative. Appreciate the approach to treatment of residents, nutrition, entertainment and activities. Entry fee seems high and additional person fee is roughly 2x other communities.
