My mom is doing fabulous and she is transitioning very nicely. It is a nice place and it is a safe place. She enjoys the meals and she likes the residents who live there. WE like that they sell the apartment and they have vendors who could provide assisted living if it was needed. It has been a good price for my mom.

It is a great community and the staff are terrific and that is what I like most. The atmosphere is nice and my dad is enjoying it so far. He has participate in some activities and they had a band perform for the residents. I would recommend the community. In the beginning the ladies were wonderful and made sure we knew everything and worked out numbers. They even worked with us to get him in. They were willing to accept his level of care. I see he is working harder and getting stronger. He didn't need help getting out of his walker today.

This is lovely community, and when my mother gets better she will be returning back to this community. We love it here, they provide different levels of care for their residents. They have followed through with all the promises they made. It is a very clean community, everything looks great when I visit. I really enjoy going to visit my mother at this community, and I would recommend it.

My mom's stay at Copper Springs is going great! The staff take great care of her and she gets nice, healthy meals! So far, I have no complaints about this facility, they are doing an excellent job!

We are very pleased with this community, and everything they have done for us. My mother is enjoyed her time so much during her respite stay, that she has decided to move here. I feel a lot better knowing she is safe, and in good hands at this community. The staff is wonderful. This is a community that I would highly recommend.

[Removed] was extremely helpful in discussing assisted living for my mother-in-law. Woodbourne Place is a beautiful facility and we found many happy residents and caregivers during our tour. There's no doubt my mother-in-law's life would be much richer and happier at Woodbourne Place!

I cannot rate thus facility highly enough. I had to place both my parents in a very quick, crisis situation, from out of state. One has serious memory care needs, the other was in need of long term rehab. The facility is sparkling clean. Residents can walk freely, even going outside to a large enclosed patio. With only 40 residents, it was a personal, friendly community, not a warehouse. The staff is incredible, top to bottom. The executive director made a 7 hour drive on a weekend to do the evaluation required for placement. The director knows not only every resident, but all of their family. She was greeting our extended family members by name immediately. Everyone has been trained so well for dementia care and is so respectful and gentle with residents. The rooms were large and well designed so my parents were easily transitioned from their home. The medical support we have seen is terrific- responsive, professional and very high quality. Do not miss this as an option. It has been a level of care that changed our family.

When we first moved my parents in, [Removed] Senior was very helpful. I think they're having her do other things now but she was great along with other people who really helped is out. They billed a bit too much on my parents first bill but they're very sincere people and they are working on fixing it. They really care about the people. The food is very good, I have eaten there myself. The only thing we wish they could improve on is the time it takes to get the food. Sometimes it can take up to 45 mins to get their food. Other than that, it has been a very good experience and we are happy with the way things are going.

Love this place! It's clean and home like. The staff is wonderful.

I like the care at this staff.The staff are always trying to make things easier on the residents. They offer a good variety of healthy meals. They sometmes need more help with staff so that they are available. I would recommend this community for other families for good care and nice value to other families.

Great programs for memory care and liked the living format. Thought the separate areas looked like they worked well.

So far, my mother loves it. She like her apartment and they feed her every day. She loves the social aspect of it. We would recommend this facility to anyone looking because she likes that they manage the medications, provide 3 meals a day, and the people are nice. She is even taking some croshey classes. She is having to share a room because of the financial aspect, but it has been a good experience for her and she is happy.

This is an outstanding community for the care of my father's needs. The staff are caring and helpful in all areas needed for his good care .The community is clean and maintained. They offer alot of nice activiites for the residents to participate. We would recommend this community for the good value and care for loved ones.

Dad is still adjusting to living at Somers Place. The staff are attentive, encouraging and wonderful. He seems to like the food. They offer daily activities, however he is not yet able to participate in any. The community is clean and well taken care of. This is a small community that is easy to get around in. The rooms surround a park so the residents are able to look out onto this. The community gets a lot of sunshine and I would recommend it.

Spring Hills is very well run and operated! The staff is very knowledgeable, passionate, and patient and is dedicated to the well-being of the residents. My mother has been living here. For 6 weeks, she has improved in a short time physically, mentally and socially. We have made the absolute best choice!! Would highly recommend spring hills!!

This is a good community. We have found the staff are nice and helpful to her needs. The community is clean and always maintained with the grounds kept up. The menu is nice and she is still adjusting to not being able to cook for herself. The staff try and get her to be active with some of the activiites. We have recommended this community for the nice care and the good value for other families.

My mom's been a resident for a little less than a month, but so far we're very happy we chose The Breakers. The 1-bedroom apartment is roomy, clean, recently updated... and has a beautiful view. The staff is great and they've obviously made a point to make Mom feel welcome and chat with her by name. This is the first time our mom's ever lived alone, so that makes a huge difference. Also, the residents at Breakers are really friendly and active They seem to be connected to each other and the lakeshore community around them. Its a lovely residence facility.

Our mother (88 y.o., w/moderate dementia, moved to North Shore Place only a month ago, after living independently in her condo for 12 years. However, based only upon this short time, my 2 brothers and I are confident that our choice of NSP was a good one. When a vulnerable loved one lives far from family members, it's critical that one can trust an assisted living facility to have the best interests of residents in mind, since personal observation and monitoring is impossible. While we knew that our mother valued her privacy and autonomy, we increasingly worried about her ability to live safely on her own - she no longer drove, compliance with medication regimens and appropriate nutrition was deteriorating, and, most importantly, self-awareness of her condition and need to recognize when she needed help was rapidly vanishing. Now that she lives at NSP, we know that she receives her medication as ordered, enjoys (really! not just consumes) 3 meals a day in a dining room that resembles a pleasant restaurant, is surrounded by universally-friendly nursing assistants and other staff, and spends most of her free time in a comfortable, one-bedroom apartment that we have decorated with family photographs and other personal items. Activities are readily available, although Mom usually does not participate, while acknowledging that she might "at some time". Maintaining her important relationships with friends and synagogue were of primary importance to us when choosing a facility, and NSP is literally minutes from her previous home and primary shopping area. When we visit, a Marriott hotel is across the street (altho NSP also has a guest room). A car and driver is usually available on a first-come, first-served basis; however, to date, transportation has been provided by ourselves when visiting or friends. More than anything, however, is the positive and welcoming attitude of the staff. Everyone knew Mom's name within days of her arrival. When we are away, she is seated with other residents so that she can feel a part of the community; if she isn't in her apartment when medications are due, the CNA will come looking for her; her forgetfulness is recognized and accommodated. While Mom acknowledges that, while she wishes that her condition did not required she leave her independent life-style, she is glad to be in a place such as North Short Place, and so are we.

My father is doing well since moving in. it seems like they are taking good care of him. He is enjoying the meals and they offer a variety of activities for when he is ready to join. We have no complaints.
