Senior Helpers

I have engaged Senior helpers for a number of years now with satisfaction of services & helpful guidance In honoring my mothers wish to continue living in her home. I can't recommend Abby, Bob, & all the staff members enough & would always recommend this caring & intelligent team to any one looking to find care for their elderly parents.

Tim made contact with me, and I am very pleased with his kindness and knowledge of the systems in place to help Mom. He will call me back June 12, after Mom's heart testing, to get an update and create possible plan for care. I really appreciate the referral.

We have been very pleased with the service they've provided so far. Everyone we've worked with has been friendly and professional. They're working with Mom doing simple exercises, and she's been noticeably improving.

We have been with them 5 months, and everything that has happened has been just fine. She does everything! She walks in the door and says "What are we having for dinner?" She'll fix chili or muffins or cookies or do the floor or the toilets! I usually have a couple things written down, but she will see things just as quickly as I do. She is excellent and her attitude is super.

This is the only agency we've worked with but so far they're providing everything we were hoping for! Our main concern was just to have some companionship for Mom, and someone who would be able to accompany her on walks. Mom seems very pleased with the service, and looks forward to the time she gets to spend with the aide. They're also very good about handling issues on the administrative side. If our usual person isn't able to come they'll contact us to see if we'd like a replacement for that day, or once she had to leave during her shift due to illness and they were ready to have someone sent over to cover for the rest of it.

Kelly is a terrific person, very knowledgeable and compassionate. She placed a caregiver named Sandra in my Moms home who was very good.

We have a senior helper who comes to our home one day per week. She is wonderful and my husband really likes her. It gives me peace of mind that someone is in our home while I attend to errands he cannot accompany me on..

I was very happy with the owner and I was happy with the helper, Karen,. I thought she was a really good match but my mom decided that she didn't want any help. She was told she had Alzheimer's by her doctor that diagnosis has been changed. It's just deep depression. The cost was a little high for what we were using them for which was just like grocery shopping or housework. We weren't having them help with medications and whatever else they usually do. If the needs would have gone up it would have been fine. I think it was about $19.50 an hour.

Sincerely impressed with their Dementia/Alzheimer's program. Mom's getting along great with her caregiver.

The reason I gave them a 4, there isn't something that was upsetting about them or anything, I don't know if the care could be better because I haven't had any experience with anything else but as of now they've brought somebody in that does really well and seems to be working around the needs of my dad as he cares for my mom and they're able to help her too. It did accomplish bringing someone in to help him out and my dad says that it's been great having them there.

Care provider a good personality match. Twice per week for 3-4 hrs each day. Groceries, cooking and cleaning mostly. So thankful for the help!

Susan has done a wonderful job checking in with us and keeping in touch. She is concerned with our search and wants to keep updated

We love their services and love what they were doing. It just wasn't the right time for us yet. We did have a very positive experience with Senior Helpers. The people were very friendly and really helpful. They were really just great.

Liked options identified over phone including OT and PT. Had consultation with a director. Demonstrated understanding and concern for grandpa's well being. Offered other items, incl. eval at home for concern I expressed over getting in and out of a sunken shower. Will select this company as first choice.

We selected Senior Helers after an informative home visit from one of the caregivers. My mother is delighted with her caregiver. I finally had a chance to meet her this week and assured her that she is doing a wonderful job. My sister and are are pleased with the care our mother is now receiving. We are working on getting her to release the reins a bit but the caregiver is patient, most effecient and very kind.

Delightful people. Mom and Dad received care 3 hrs/day, 3 days/week for several weeks this summer. The director was delightful and very friendly and competent. She returned to school, and another gal was sent. She was not very good. Burnt pancakes for breakfast, used some strange product when cleaning bathroom floor that made it very sticky, put bathroom rug away in upstairs linen closet, etc. Senior Helpers us a great organization, though. I recommended them to friends.

i really enjoyed meeting with director. she was very nice and answered all my questions satisfactorily. and my mom really liked her. I realize she is not the caregiver but it is a start.

Dedicated and caring. I received calls when anything seemed awry with my mother's physical or mental well being. When my mother needed to go to the emergency room, her caregiver stayed with her until my husband and I could arrive. Big shout outs to [name removed] and [name removed]!

I'm very satisfied with the services we are receiving from this home care agency. They are doing a very good job caring for my father and his needs. The care givers are nice, they are good at what they do. They help with some cooking, cleaning, and some personal care. I like the fact if some one can not make it out to our home, they are quick to send a replacement. It has been a lovely experience and I would recommend it.
