The community is pretty rough getting to the Algiers Point; but seems to be OK around the location. My mom is quite happy there. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The room she is in is full of windows and allows her to people watch, which she loves. The food is good and the chef, [name removed] really cares about the people she feeds and that they enjoy their food. If she doesn't like something, they fix her something else to her liking. She had a serious problem with inconvenience especially during the night, she has woke up every morning dry. She is checked and changed during the night. They do her laundry often and NEVER leave soiled laundry in her room. The room is always clean. She still has her sitters but we are discounted for her care. The only thing I wish was different is that they had more to do on the weekends. During the week their activities are great but she is bored on the weekends. I hope this helps. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Beau Ridge is located in the heart of Ole Miss country and has a special vibe that comes from that. Our facility is only two years old and is shiny and bright. We have a luxurious campus a beautiful large gazebo to stargaze in on warm summer nights. We even have numerous birdhouses for birdwatching. We are preparing for the second birthday of Beau Ridge with a roaring 20s theme this week. The staff has transformed the whole facility to reflect the fun of that era complete with even a speakeasy! out and pleasing to everyone. We have wonderful workshops and exercise programs to fit our individual needs. The staff and residents are fantastic and have genuine affection toon for each other. My family is so happy that I chose Beau Ridge as my forever home because they know I am happy and well looked after. It's like going on vacation and not ever leaving.

My mom has been a resident of Alden Pointe for three years. In all that time our family has been pleased with her care. When we visit her, she always seems content and happy. She is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's and it has been sad to watch her decline. But the staff treats her like their own grandmother. The facility (and mom) always smell fresh and clean. The food is good and she is aided at mealtimes with very patient and kind people. The director, [name removed] is always available and helpful with any concerns or questions we have. Mom was a resident of another highly regarded facility in Hattiesburg while we waited on the list for Alden Pointe. I won't say a bad word about them, but I will say that moving her was the best decision for her and for the whole family. We are grateful for the professionalism and kindness of the entire staff. I would recommend Alden Point to anyone needing care for their loved one.

I was welcomed by staff and residents immediately. My new home is beautiful and there is never a boring moment. You feel cared for like family. This is my first time alone in many years and a little scary to tell the truth. My Son helped me move to Beau ridge and his parting words were “ I feel good about this place for you Mom!” I’m not worried about having to leave you here without me close by! Those are special words from my Son who wants everything to be perfect for me. I’m home to stay!

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. Mom was not eating much by the time she arrived and was bedridden so could not participate in activities. My only regret is that we didn't move her sooner, so she could have been taken care of when she was mobile. I was able to call and ask about her and the staff would apprise me about how she slept, if she was eating etc. They also took the phone to her so I could talk to her and tell me what she was trying to say, if it was garbled. One day when we were talking she told me that she was crying when I said I loved her. I think that was my last call with her. My brother and sister-in-law checked out 3 places and this was the one chosen because it was best equipped to handle my mother's health in her final days.

Be sure to look at the care givers/employees. Are they friendly and visible? Is the vibe and furnishings similar to how your loved one lives? Location to you if you are in town? Of course hurricane policies?

My loved one was a resident at The Suites at Algiers Point. The entire staff were excellent. We, as guests, were always welcomed as part of a family. The facility is beautiful. The rooms are nice and spacious. I wish they had more activities. While my love one was there they would have 1 or 2 things a week. I do know that they have a new person handling the activities, hopefully that is going well for the sweet residents.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very experienced with patients with all levels of dementia. I feel I can trust that they'll go above and beyond to make sure my loved one is comfortable in these last years of his life.

I toured this community and it was good. Cleanliness and friendliness were good, also.

The Suites at Sugarmill Point was wonderful. I just wish we had gotten our loved one there so much sooner than we did. The care was fantastic. They coordinated well with hospice and were always able to tell me how she was doing when I called. The staff were wonderful, and they were very helpful to me in facilitating phone conversations with my mom. They were compassionate when she passed away. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was worth every penny to know she was comfortable there and being well taken care of.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience but at the time we needed our loved one to move into a community they just did not have any availability.

I give them all 5 stars so far. Remember, it is our Mom we're leaving there in other people's hands. That in itself is hard to bare. She does tell stories (her truths) but all in all she seems calm & loves everyone there. Everyone has to remember that there are many residents there, so it's not individual care (24/7) but it's professional care that we as family cannot provide. Everyone there seems to treat every resident as if it was their Mom, Dad or family member. We are very grateful for what the whole staff does for our mom!!

We chose The Suites at Sugarmill Point because it was the only facility in the area that had dementia care and Alzheimer's, that is their specialty and it is very small with a little amount of the residents. The meals are chef prepared, they get 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. It is a very safe facility, they have codes to get in and out. They cook for residents, clean their rooms, and it is very worth the money for what they provide. The staff are super friendly and let you do whatever you want to do with your loved one. You can take them out whenever you want to, bring them whatever you want to, etc. They have been great with communication and letting families know what is going on. There is always a nurse on site which gives us great peace of mind. My mom seems to be doing a lot better with having people around her and being able to participate in activities. Overall we think it is a great place and it has been a really positive experience.

We chose The Suites because of the convenient location and also the quality of the service and size of the apartment. I had my mother in another facility and the staff were rude and I thought that was normal, this staff is extremely courteous, friendly, and go above and beyond for their residents. For example they took residents out to eat and my mother in law did not take any money and the staff paid for her out of their own pocket. We offered to pay them back and they would not take it. That shows how nice they are. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

We had absolutely no complaints when it came to The Suites community. The staff members were terrific and the value was good. The care services were excellent, and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.

I toured this community. My family and I are looking specifically for memory care. Their memory care floor is beautiful and the right size for that type of care. I met two of the care partners on memory care, the maintenance worker and front desk personnel and they were all friendly and down to earth.

I toured this facility and I must say that this is a unique place. It feels like home. The decor is bright and has local art hanging on the walls. The staff I met during the tour were all friendly and seemed happy to be there.

I can not say enough about how great this community is. The place is beautiful and the staff are great. They are supportive, patient and encouraging. They offer a lot of daily activities including aerobics. The food is good and they offer healthy choices. I would highly recommend this community.

I like the care at this community. The staff is nice and helpful. The menu of the meals is appealing. The community is clean and maintained. We like the care that is received here from the great staff. We would recommend this community for other families for good care with a nice value

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I thought Belleville Assited Living seemed like a very nice place! The facility is very attractive, and I thought the rooms were very nice looking as well. I liked that they had slightly larger kitchens than most of the other places we saw.
