My loved one is very pleased with the facility, care and the care givers - as am I.

There is other home where the owners are hands on like Sasse AFC. Staff are hired to take care of the residents as expected. I am thankful for her knowing who are the good employees. My mom adored this home especially the owner. The service and love is exceptional. Keep it up.

Sasse AFC is a nice place for your loved one. The owner provides exceptional care and lives onsite with the residents. My dad was very well cared for while he lived at Sasse and I recommend the home for families looking for a smaller facility that is just like living at home. Residents are provided delicious home cooked meals, which my dad enjoyed. I would definitely use Sasse AFC again.

[Name removed] takes excellent care of my mom, who is in great shape physically but does not think so well in her old age. The food is fantastic - [Name removed] cooks from scratch for most meals. The home is located at the start of a short side street with culdesac, so my mom is able to get out and walk a little safely. [Name removed] calls me whenever she has any concerns or issues, which is rare, but I really appreciate it. This is an excellent home. If you need this sort of care for a loved one, you should use SASE house immediately. It's also conveniently located in town 5 min from Ypsi downtown, which makes it easy to take your loved one out for coffee, ice cream, to the library, or for breakfast.

Visited this home for a family member. This home is definitely some where I can see my relative living. The home is very clean,it provides everything that my relative would need. This home makes your family member feel at home. Home cooked meals everyday. Your family members can sit in the living room and socialize with the staff. Everyone is free to do what ever they feel like. No one is confined to their room. It's absolutely an amazing place. The owner of the place is very nice and is very hands on. Even though she's running a business, everyone is treated like they are family. That was the best part for me. It was a place my husband and I had considered as our first choice, but it was too far out for us. I would definitely recommend this place. I absolutely loved it and my relative loved it as well. Especially the home cooked meals and the feeling that your relatives are in the hands of someone who really cares, and goes the extra mile to make sure they are okay and safe.

This home really fits the elderly who need a home like setting. The Owner is hands on and treats the residents like family. The elderly feel very secure with her care. The pricing is comparable or even lower than most other home of the kind. Great job.

I'm so happy we found this place! We visited quite a few places and this one really stood out to me. What I like is that they really give my Mom love, not just care. I think it is so important that person feels loved in the place that they live!

I think my father will enjoy Sasse's, it felt like home. The owner was very nice and professional, I believe this will be a good fit for my father. I like that it was a home instead of a nursing facility which can sometimes feel more like a hospital.

Nice home and liked the owner [name removed]. Priced in our budget and definitely a good option. Not sure if there was wheelchair access into the new home, so I’ll need to inquire about that as that would be a deal breaker. Definitely leaning towards a group home setting for my cousin.

The home is a home with group meals, clean and comfortable quarters. The owner/operators are friendly, caring and concerned. This was the only accommodation that was both willing and caring enough to address some sensitive issues for my relative. He cannot be exposed to noxious chemical cleaners, strong paint, or carpet odors from new materials. It was not an issue for them, they were already ecologically friendly around the home. In addition, they were readily willing to provide meals for allergies to gluten, chicken, eggs, dairy, soy, etc. They took my relative shopping for things allowed. My only reservation so far is more a personality issue with my relative. He is difficult to motivate, he could benefit from verbal cues to become more motivated and independent. He is not the average person found in this type of home. I do not feel the owners are missing anything in their caring approach so much as I have been unable to find acceptable programs outside the home that are both acceptable and safe for this relative. I enjoy communicating with the care givers. They make us welcome whenever we want to visit or adjust schedules. I hope this will be a helpful review for others needing this kind of assistance.

Beautiful but not wheelchair friendly. No mental stimulation

Very sad and depressing place. Residents sit and watch TV or stare at each other all day. The refrigerator has a chain and lock on it.

This place is horrible! the residents sit and watch TV or be in there room all day. The staff never take them out or do any activities with them. The owner is always out of town she is NOT very hands on with the residents if anything she make staff and the residents feel if she doesn't want to be bothered. I would not send a loved one to this place.
