My mother has been a resident of the Ashleigh for two years now. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with Dementia in 2012 and we were no longer able to care for her. We first tried having a live in aid which did not work out well for our family. The Ashleigh had just opened a couple of months before we came to the desicion that we needed better accommodations for her. Putting Mom at the Ashleigh is the best desicion we could have made.The staff is is fantastic! I am able to get my life back to a normal schedule because I know that my mother is safe and being taken care of. The facility is beautiful and clean. Food is fantastic. They have plenty of activities for the residents in the Memory Care unit.

I have experience the awesome service that the Wellington's employees provide to their residents. It is a service and care that's unmatched.

The Towers is an impressive 36 year old senior living community, on its third generation of family ownership. The community has undergone some amazing renovations with modernized upgrades and amenities. The Towers is a definitely must see!

Our mother was very pleased with her stay at Aarondale. The staff was very caring and she felt very cared for. She appreciated the cleanliness of the community, the delicious meals and the warmth of the nurses who took care of her. Our family recommends Aarondale.

The Wellington at lake Manassas is One of the 9 assisted living facility in the northern Virginia area. It’s a 115 bed. Wellington has nurses, cnas and med-tech every shift. Staff are knowledgeable, caring, hardworking, sympathetic and empathetic. Residents are treated like one of our own. It is a perfect place to bring your love ones who need care. We have the independent living, assisted living and memory care, also have the respite care. Residents and staff are more than family.

Fabulous community with outstanding, caring staff who are dedicated to providing a loving atmosphere for the residents!

Beautiful community with dedicated and caring staff. The Wellness Director, [name removed] has been a staple in the community for many years. I love that Aarondale has licensed nurses ONSITE 24/7. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking in the area. I have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff. They truly care about our mom.

The food is wonderful and I must say when there are large events the spread is amazing and absolutely delicious. Wonderful Chef.

What a beautiful place. Went to tour for my mom and it was so welcoming and beautiful. When she is ready to make the move, it will be Heatherwood.

Everyone here has a smile on their face when they greet you. The building is clean, warm and welcoming. The array of options for meals and activities as well as the beautiful views outside each apartment, is truly amazing. A great place to age in place with different levels of care available should you need it.

October 2019, will be 2-years since Dad moved to Ashleigh at Lansdowne. Dad has really come to feel like Ashleigh is home to him. He feels like the staff really care about him. As management and personnel changes happen (like any company does), we've continued to engage every member of the staff that provide Dad his assisted living care. That includes dining room staff (wait staff to chefs), nursing care, physical therapy, maintenance, housekeeping and executive management. We live 15 minutes away and we are always engaging with them. Any issues that have come up, we talk to them immediately and resolve them quickly. They listen, I mean really listen, to what we want for Dad's care and understand that we feel like we're truly a team working for Dad and wanting him to be happy and as healthy as possible. Dad has type 2 diabetes and we manage his diabetes through diet and medication. We've made sure all the dining room staff know to provide sugar-free desserts (Dad has a sweet tooth) and make sure he has nutritional meals. Throughout this past year, Dad has had some dental work done and now he really seems to be enjoying eating, which is great considering when he first moved to VA in 2015, and then moved to Ashleigh from the other facility in Ashburn, Dad had lost 60 pounds. He was depressed and didn't find pleasure in eating. That's all changed. He has made friends with his nurses, wait staff and others that care for him. One of the best things, is that one of the wait staff who takes care of Dad's meals, liked Dad's name so much that he named his new son after my Dad. That's really nice and it means a lot to Dad. We're super happy we found Ashleigh and consider their care to have set the bar for our future family's move to Florida. Now when we look for places for Dad in Florida, we compare everything to Ashleigh. We just wish they had an Ashleigh when we will be moving in Florida in a year or two.

Heatherwood is beautiful, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I love coming in here when I visit my family.

We recently transitioned our mother in law to The Hidenwood, and I can’t say enough about the tremendous support, compassion, and guidance the team has provided in what can be a difficult and emotional transition. The Hidenwood team has been with us every step of the way and we are truly grateful for their help and expertise. Navigating living options for an elderly parent can quickly become overwhelming, and the staff supported our family through this process with a holistic and family-centered approach. Thank you!

My wife and I were very impressed with Aarondale Retirement Community on our tour. The director was very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. It is one of the cleanest communities we visited in the Northern Virginia area. They also have nurses on site 24 hours a day. Most others do not offer this, only on-call nurses. The fine dining experience and university classes they offer are just a few of the higher caliber amenities that are a rare find among other retirement communities. When we are ready to make the decision to move forward with living in an assisted living community, we both agree that Aarondale will be the place we choose to maintain a higher quality of living.

The Wellington at Lake Manassas is the place you would want your loved ones to be . They have excellent nursing staff, great food , fun daily activities and outings to engage your loved ones . Lovely staff that makes you feel at home . Thus it’s your home away from home .
