Mom and dad could live in the same apartment. Has a nice size refrigerator, washer and dryer in apartments. Very good and clean and new, great amenities.

I love the homey feel of this beautiful place it is very clean and welcoming! A great place overall.

Everyone was so nice and friendly on my tour. The reviews were right. I hope my mom does get the "fuzzy wuzzys" coming to The Hidenwood.

Bay Lake is a class a fabulous community! I attended their Christmas party with my loved one and was blown away! Not only is it beautiful, staff were so friendly and kind. Great job Bay Lake.

My mom was always anxious any time we brought up an assisted living facility and she never wanted to hear about the move. After she had a fall at home, we decided to visit a couple of the communities and see what our options are because we didn't want another fall to be the end. We were surprised how nicely kept and clean this facility was. We visited others and they all had bad odor or dirty hallways. At the Barrington, we saw a lot of staff constantly cleaning and keeping the place in great shape. We heard that the Barrington has partnered with the Richmond ballet to give the residents the ability to still go to different plays and do a lot of outings. We moved mom in a little while ago and she absolutely loves how friendly the nurses and other staff are and she feels at home. She isn't anxious anymore and thanks us for finding this great place for her. We were afraid she would resist the change but the staff made her so welcomed from the beginning that she never felt alone.

My wife and I moved here together in October of 2020, and they have done a great job taking care of us. They allowed my wife to bring her dog and the staff love him just as much as they love us. It's a really great community!

The food is amazing, they have an "a la carte" menu that allows everyone to be able to pick something that they like to eat. The menu changes weekly so there is always a variety of food!

Moving here has allowed me to meet a lot of different people and make friends with all of them. The communal dining room allows me to talk and meet all of my neighbors!

My sister and I appreciate them scheduling visits for us to be able to see our loved ones during the pandemic. Mom loves the food and dad always speaks very highly of his housekeeper for helping him with more than just cleaning. I would like to say thank you to everyone for keeping our loved ones safe and happy.

Mom and I haven't been able to do much due to Covid and when I was able to visit with her this week, I was overwhelmed how good and healthy she looks. Her bedroom was cleaned and organized, I really thought I was coming in to do a deep clean and I didn't have to. I want to say a big thank you to all of the staff there for taking great care of my mother.

This community was nice, we just went with another community.

Everyone there has a great attitude towards their residents and fellow employees. They keep things clean and go out of their way to ensure the well-being and happiness of everyone there.

The staff were very kind and friendly at this community. The meals were very good. The overall appearance and feeling was just good at this community.

They have really stepped it up in designing retirement communities since my grandmother was in one. The Westmont looks like a luxury hotel and yet has such a homey feel, it was impressive. They have a variety of common spaces where residents can spend time with their friends and families and the apartments are very nice themselves. When my dad came in to tour he fell in love with the billiards room and even got to see a few men playing in there! I was surprised to see that they have about 6-8 different activities a day and multiple outings a week, much more than the surrounding competition offers. Also having 24/7 nursing instead of just on-call nurses is a game changer. I could just keep going with the positive comments. It's absolutely worth a look.

The lunch was great. Everything in the kitchen is made fresh everyday. I am never disappointed with the quality of the management and the employees. They always wear smiles (under their masks at least!)
