I’ve lived here for three years and I am very happy. I would recommend this community to my friends and family. We have a tight family feel here and we all look after one another… this is a very social and friendly community. We have a lot of fun!

The employees and residents are so friendly. The food is good. The facility is very clean. They repair things very quickly. The employees really care about the residents and their needs. The activities are fun and executed well.

I love the food here at oak park and I love the community and the people here especially the managers . And I absolutely love the bus driver [name removed] who is so friendly and nice! And I love living here! And I love [name removed] the activity director and her various activities.

This is a perfect place for me. I live here with my daughter and we have had a wonderful time. The managers and the community have been very nice to us and there is a lot to do. The activity director always has something going and I love living here.

The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. They gave great staff, an excellent management team and the world's activities director. There is more than enough to do if you want to. We looked at five other places before moving here and there was no doubt in our minds that this was the best.

Oak Park is the second one I’ve liven in. The other was in San Antonio and Oak Park is far superior. In San Antonio, we got 2 meals, breakfast and lunch or dinner. Breakfast was always a continental breakfast. Here we get all 3 meals and breakfast is clocked to order. With the price of food, I don’t see how the Oak Park staff keeps the meal quality as good as it is with very minimal annual rent increases. My wife passed away 3 years ago, and the staff and residents were all loving and caring. The whole staff is hands-on with our activities. I know several people who have moved here from other independent living facilities in the area, which further highlights the quality and value of Oak Park.

My husband and I moved into OakPark when it first opened. He has since passed and I have stayed here. It is a wonderful place to live as long as you are capable of living independently! We are an active thriving community and welcome healthy happy adults.

Professional and caring staff, fabulous food, beautiful facility, and apartments that are perfect to your taste. A range of activities. Always clean and well-maintained. Finally, a great group of friendly neighbors. Everyone will be welcomed.

The koi pond upon entering creates a warm and welcoming environment. The main corridor is set up like a city street, so feels small and quaint. The dining area is spatious and the food is excellent. Group activities vary with plenty of choices. My mom enjoys the pool and many of the daily activities.

I'd like to compliment the dining room staff for their excellent service. Everyone is always kind, friendly and welcoming. Its's such a pleasure to dine and live here - the staff truly make the experience enjoyable every day.

The kitchen crew and the rest of the staff are amazing! Great service all around - the cooks, servers and managers all go above and beyond. The food is always tasty with a nice variety to choose from. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Five Stars across the board.

The minute we walked in to Oak Park Retirement Resort everyone was welcoming. The facility has an open atmosphere and very clean. [name removed] gave us the tour of the facility and provided detailed information which answered most of our questions. The few remaining questions were answered with a smile. We found her to be very accommodating and gracious. Thank you [name removed] for the time spent with us.

We moved here from another senior living facility a year ago. Pinnacle Springs is much better. It’s managed much more efficiently, and the staff is sensitive to our wants and needs. There are many activities throughout the week which are fun and stimulating. There is room for improvement in the quality of food.

My wife and I moved here a little over a year ago. My MIL moved here a few months before us, and we told her that if she moved here, we would follow! Very nice not having to worry about home maintenance anymore!

It’s very peaceful and comforting. Have made many friends. Love my staff very helpful they are terrific. Food is good great young servers love this life style. Lived here 1 year this month. Size of apartment is an adiquette space I have a 1 bedroom

We visited several independent living communities in the Columbus area and this was the all around winner. Five years later my mom continues to love Stone Oak. It is a welcoming community of residents and staff, all very friendly and caring and they seek opportunities to interact with my mom and make her feel loved. She has enjoyed the entertainment, quality of food, immediate service for occasional maintenance and the one price for everything.  What we didn’t anticipate was a couple years ago my mom had a stroke and needed therapy. She now also uses the assistance of an aide on occasion. SO has third parties with offices in-house with long standing relationships providing these services. My mom knew the therapists and aides before they started working with her, and they are excellent and were quick to fill the need! [names removed], the live in managers, are top notch, are hard working and are in close touch with needs of residents.  I couldn’t recommend Stone Oak more highly!

It is one big family. Extremely friendly. Everyone is accepted as part of the family. Many activities, movie every night in a beautiful theater, live entertainment several times a month, games, bingo, card games. A variety of food to choose from every meal. We never go hungry. We also have a chefs panty available 24 hrs with snacks, fruit and sandwiches. Come for a tour!

The most wonderful couple, [name removed] and [name removed] run this facility. Everything is spotless maintained. And very well run because of them. [name removed] and [name removed] are awesome as well. It’s a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Like a true home. If you’re looking for an independent facility, definitely come here to Palomino Gardens and check it out.

Stone Oak is awesome. There are so many friendly people and many fun activities to do. I love doing the painting lessons, exercise classes, Bingo, billiards, card games and puzzles. We also have live entertainment and/or movies in the evenings at the big comfortable theatre. Moving here is the best decision I’ve made in a long time.
