They are very lacking in communication. They don't tell you what's going on, they don't know what's going on. The social worker doesn't know whats going on with the patient.

The staff was really nice, and it's very clean! They should pay more attention to the patient. They didn't always give my loved one the food he ordered.

I thought the facility was really nice, and my mother was well cared for as far as the rehab is concerned. But they could have managed her medically better, like her sugar levels, and there was no communication with the family.

The rehab therapists were very communicative. They gave me regular updates on her progress, they were friendly and detail-oriented! The discharge nurse was extremely uncompassionate and rude. My loved one was neglected in certain areas. The nurses need to communicate with the patients. They're extremely short-staffed. They weren't timely in how fast they responded. Dinner was her favorite meal! Their communication was awful.

I'm not happy with the service at all. There's no communication between staff. There's no gentleness with taking care of my mom and her fragile skin. We've been very disappointed. They've been attentive, but not too gentle. Everybody's been cordial and pretty kind. It's amazing how they can puree that stuff and it still seems to edible.

I like it there. I think they're pretty darn nice. Everything I see is clean. My loved one is not eating what they give her.

There have been some problems with missing items. They have been good about calling, though.

We had an issue with the meals.

The occupational therapist is very nice to my mom. The staff friendliness is good and the cleanliness is good. It is hard to say for the communication. On one end they did a good job of reaching out to me when she had to go to the hospital. But then on the other end, there has been miscommunication. We have some concerns at this point that are swaying my decision on whether or not to have my mother return from the hospital. I spoke with the staff member in charge of transportation to have someone with my mom during her appointments, but they didn't attend one with her and it caused her to panic.

The place was clean. There's not enough of the therapy services. Some of the nurses were okay and some were not. They haven't communicated with me about anything.

There was a lack of communication. The insurance company wanted her discharged but Phoebe wanted to keep her a week more.

The rehab there has been good in the past. It depends on the nurse. I do not get much friendliness. There are a few people who have been very nice. I've have been communicating with people over the phone. The meals come on a regular basis and are nutritious. It is institutional food. I do not believe the doctors and the administration is good. I have called the doctor’s office and I have been chastised for contacting him.

It's been okay.

It's very clean, the staff is pretty friendly. Sometimes my wife pushes the button and they are there and sometimes they do not come and help on the weekends with not enough manpower. Depends on the day and normally the nursing care is pretty good. Sundays it is slow. The food is good and has always been good. There have been no problems with communication, especially with our family doctor for over ten years.

They have excellent OT PT services. The staff have been pretty good and very compassionate. I don't want to bad mouth, but they are understaffed. It can frustrate my wife when she has to wait. The nursing care when they are here is fine. Getting here can be an hour after pressing the call light; sometimes an hour or more to get here.

I'm very disappointed. My loved one has been there five times and this time it is not good. The staff itself is good. They are very friendly and they are very good at communication. They keep me well informed of what is going on. The nursing care is not too good. The attitudes are very very bad - not all of them, but some. It's very clean though.

My husband loves the meals at the facility! The facility should be very thankful to have our aide. She has been absolutely wonderful to my husband. However it is a little frustrating when the facility calls me at night and advises me to come up with a plan regarding my husband.

My loved one was previously a resident at Phoebe Allentown and the experience was not good. The main issue was staffing. There were never very many staff on hand and my loved one didn't get much help. Would never go back.

Appalling. Would not recommend Short term rehab stay at Phoebe Richland for ANYONE. What accreditations does Phoebe Richland hold? My stay was horrible. They may be licensed by the state, but that DEFINITELY needs review.

I am disgusted with the care my dad received in his short stay at Phoebe for rehab. The system they use to obtain meds is so bad. It took over 12 hours to get his meds from the pharmacy on his first day there. He missed 2 doses of a very important medicine plus many others. It took 48 hours to fill a prescription from a doctors appointment. And 72 hours to refill his pain medication after his prescription ran out. He was shoved by an aide in his one and only attempt at a shower and fell. And when he went to assisted living they discovered 2 pressure ulcers and he was missing most of his clothes. It is so disappointing to think that this terrible care can continue to happen in this day and age! Stay far away from here!
