My mother is doing okay since her move to this community. She is hanging there, and I know she is safe, and in good hands. It is a nice, clean community. Everything is very well-kept. The staff is very caring. It is has been a good experience for us here at this community.

At the time I need to get my dad in right away. They came and evaluated him and got him in the next day. I am satisfied with the staff providing the care. The food is very good, but now he needs it blended and they do that for him. I don't have any complaints, they are very friendly and they take time with each residents. There are not many residents and the staff know my father. I can tell he is happy when I'm there with him he is smiling and dancing when he hears music. He gets 24 hour care and I have no worries, it makes a big difference

This community is very nice but very small. The cost was alittle more then what we needing. Not very private but seemed to be like a house atmosphere. I only knew of one activity that would be offered. The staff were very nice I did not see the meals that would be offered here. Families might want to see if this community is a good fit for there needs.

We toured their other property and they showed us a room for my brother-in-law. He saw a bed and it was his bed, it gave him the sense of independence. He was excited and couldn't wait to move in. They met his care needs and they have few resident. We felt he would be getting more care. I really liked that they had equal male and female resident ratio. We were unable to wait for the room.

We were going to choose this community first and we were set and ready to move in. The room that we picked was still under contract for the prior family. The community gives them up to 30 days to clear the room and they were hoping the family would come early to clean it out but they were unable to start early. We could not wait to have the room ready and available. The community gave us our money back and they tried to work other arrangements. It was a great tour but we didn't like that they had 2 floors and they mostly had female residents with 1 or 2 male residents

This is a great community. The staff is outstanding and helpful. My father loves the activities and the little trips he goes on. The food is great and the variety. A very clean community. I would highly recommend this community to other families for excellent care.

The community at memory care living in Montville has the feel of a home and of a family. Making the decision to move a parent to a facility is never easy, but the staff and family atmosphere here made the transition easy. I have peace of mind knowing she is treated like the special person she is.

Don't know where to begin... I was at my lowest point in my life with regards to the my mother and her debilitating condition. I was at the end of my rope and desperate for a solution to the care of my mother. I tried daycare providers who were OK but my mother wasn't having it. The problems only compounded during the hours care providers were not in the home and the issues that came along with scheduling and assurances for a standard of care between the numerous folks that saw to my mother. The LAST thing I wanted to do was to move my mother out of the house that I grew-up in. I made inquires about Memory Care Living and other facilities. Thanks to Cindy Phillips for her persuasiveness and tenacity that brought me in the door. Cindy did a great job at "selling" the situation to me and everything she said has come to fruition. Great job! But it doesn't stop there... Kerry [removed] and her staff are miracle workers. The LAST thing that my mother wanted to do when I first brought her to "the home" was to stay! Kerry and her folks worked with my mother to a tireless level (and still do) to the point now that my mother doesn't want to leave!! My mother loves the programs the house provides, especially the singing sessions that they have. She now participates in assisting other residents less fortunate than her in additional to assisting staff with simple tasks. Bottom line... MY MOTHER IS HAPPY!! I trust Kerry and her staff implicitly with my mother's minute to minute care, health and welfare, no questions asked. Kerry is always available to speak or comment on my mother's situation either by phone or text messages. I have seen Kerry at the house well after her "9 to 5" day is done during the week AND on weekends. I can't say enough about these folks and the appreciation and respect I have for them The facility is maintained with a high level of cleanliness and maintenance at all times and it is secure. The food preparation is spot-on and fresh; 3 times a day and it actually looks and tastes "like real food." Sincere thanks to Cindy, Kerry and the staff at Memory Care Living!! Now I can sleep at night...

I feel so fortunate to have found this community for my mom. She is well cared for, content and loved. The staff is wonderful and having only 15 residents, they really know each individual's needs.

Memory Care in Montville is a thoughtful and caring community. Kerry (on staff nurse) and Maureen (on staff activities director) provide vigilant ongoing services and the entire staff is friendly and hard working. The care my Mom gets there is excellent.

The Memory Care Living at Montville is a welcoming place to visit your mom or dad. The employees open the door with a smile and present a loving, caring, family atmosphere.

I feel so lucky to have found this place for mom. I can visit any time of day or night. She is well cared for, well fed and very loved. The staff is wonderful!

I was looking for a home for my relative and found a wonderful place. It is a clean, well kept facility. The meals here are home-made. They have their own providers that come to the facility such as hairdresser, doctor and densit when services are needed. She is very happy to be here being that she is a very difficult person to please. I would recommend this facility to another family member who is searching for a comfortable and safe home. It is like they are in their own home. Staff here is well pleasant, nice, and caring and patient with residents. Excellent, compassionate staff that makes them feel at home.

Found the most amazing caring place! The smaller setting and the loving staff have made for the best home for my mom. Everyone is so helpful and genuine. They make sure my mom is safe and well groomed. They get her involved in activities and get her to go outside in the nice weather. Peter was extremely helpful from the beginning by placing my mom at Hillsdale 1 and Lucy is always there to make sure that things run smoothly. She stays in close contact with me and so I never have to worry. The home is clean and the meals are all home cooked. Everyone that works there shows an interest in my mom. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to take their loved one out of their home and into an assisted living place because as Alzheimer's progresses it gets harder to care for a loved one. This place puts your mind at ease.

Kerri and her staff have been very professional and very caring and compassionate! My mother-in - law is so very happy there!

We recently moved my grandmother here due to the inadequate care she was receiving at her other home. Here she receives the individual attention that she really needed. The place feels and looks just like a home. Robyn Barnes the house leader truely cares about all the individuals there. You can tell she loves what she does. All the individuals that work there are just as awesome as her.

Very clean,friendly,caring,staff.it looks like a home and feels like a home. Very modern kitchen where they cook for the people. I was very impressed. It's a ranch, with a fenced in yard, a deck where they have a grill and patio furniture for cook outs. It is very much like their home.

My dad has been at Memory Care in Chester for almost 2 years now and we are very happy with the facility. We love Sherry, LeMar, Kim, and Sydney especially. It definitely feels like a family. There may not be a lot of activities that the residents can participate in, but they do their best. They have outside people come in for entertainment and although my dad can't recall a lot of things, he does remember some of them! We just could not take care of my dad at home any longer and we feel so lucky to have found Memory Care where he can live a safe, content life. The staff is especially receptive to any questions and/or suggestions we have and they are wonderful communicating directly with us.

Finding the best home for your loved ones needing memory care is a very emotional difficult task! My mother is currently happy living in Memory Care Living in their Ramsey, NJ location. After my Dad passed away 3 years ago, my Mom came to live with my husband and I in Florida. Mom missed the rest of her family in the New York, New Jersey area. we moved her back after about a year. She lived in two memory care facilities In New Jersey and New York where we had frequent problems Falls, lack of communication for medical and prescription needs, food unacceptable, personnel changes often and a lack of enough help. Management made promises, which they did not keep, after we signed the contract, paid move in costs and moved Mom in. We found Memory Care in Ramsey online and my family was very impressed with their tour. My concern was that she had a private bath in the past ,which Memory care did not offer. This turned out to be a blessing! Mom needed help in the bathroom and that's where she was falling often without help. We love the atmosphere in Ramsey, the food, the management and help is fabulous! It's very clean, has nice activities. Mom is getting great care, always clean and her room is beautiful! They bring residents outside on their patio in nice weather which is great. While living in Florida, I feel relaxed that Mom is getting the best care we could hope for in her new home. My family visits often and we are always happy to see the level of professional care in Ramsey. In between all the other places Mom lived, we tried 24 hour care in her home. While it sounded great, it didn't work for us. Call Memory Care today, wish we had called sooner. I would be happy to speak to anyone considering Memory Care for a loved one.
