A smaller facility has advantages. If the location fits (acceptable) then Bellwood is a good option. The high cost of available places put us at Bellwood, but they have been great.

Very willing to work with family when placement didn't work out. Very nice place.

Mom was very hesitant as she is shy but the staff is very friendly and are there to assist and talk with residents. Mom is doing great moving around more, making friends and can really see a difference in her overall.

The staff is extremely professional. They take excellent care of my mother and this is happiest I have ever seen her. I would recommend to others.

When necessary, communication is good. The facility is clean. My loved one says her meals are fine. She hasn't had cable since she moved in. [name removed] responds quickly to my texts. Overall, yes I would recommend it. There are no frills etc. but my loved one seems to be adjusting. She is more in tune with what's going on than some of the other residents, but she seems to be adjusting fairly well. One thing to note, they do not offer transportation and do not have a gym per se, for therapy and exercise.

I would absolutely recommend this facility. The staff has been very helpful and accommodating. They are very good about calling as needed and also when I call, they quickly give me the information I'm looking for. It would be nice if they could use their bus for small trips just to get away for a little while. This is a nice place at a very reasonable cost, and I would highly recommend them.

They were fantastic at working on short notice and gave me time to work on financing, and it was close to my home. That facility is clean. It's cost effective vs. other facilities and the staff are informative, helpful and really friendly. I would recommend to other families.

I loved the rooms, super nice gals that really loved dad. Not sure if this is a positive for some people but I loved the down home country atmosphere/small numbers. [name removed] was very helpful and quick to respond when I needed info. I would recommend Trousdale Senior Living Center to other families.

It's not fancy but it's newly renovated, gorgeous country scenery, and the sweetest staff. [name removed] is an excellent administrator! It's the perfect place for someone who thrives in a smaller, and quieter setting. The rooms are small, but well kept. One of the best things about Bellwood is how well the staff gets to know the residents and their families. I couldn't have asked for better communication. Other facilities have been "too busy" or "too short staffed" but never an issue at Bellwood.

There is rennovation in one section but it is clean. They have hired new people. They have yoga, music and bingo for the activities. It is a small community which is nice. The location is very convenient, and really close. It's about 30 minutes from mom. Overall, I love the area.

My aunt did not have much time to enjoy this facility, but my cousin and I were impressed with the care and attention she got

The staff is great. When I moved my brother there were a lot of administrative duties I took on like transferring prescriptions from White House to Gibbs in Lebanon, which took several back and forth calls on my behalf. I also took care of contacting iris medical, etc. I know it takes a couple of months to get the wrinkles out. The administrative staff is nice, but I think they could have been more helpful with things like this. Everything has worked out but it was a little bumpy for the first month. Everything running smoothly now. I think the facility may have gone through new owner before or in the middle of my brother moving in.

Bellwood Assisted Living was chosen from a list of three in the Lebanon area. Bellwood is relatively small (a plus) and was more affordable than others. The facility is clean, the meals are reportedly tasty, and the staff is easy to work with.

I would recommend to others. It is smaller so not as many for social interaction. But have been very pleased with the staff which makes all the difference. The main reason we picked them was because of the location and then after touring the room size and price.

I would say that you get what you pay for. It's a small facility and inadequate if your loved one needs more than medication management. The staff is very caring, but their hands are tied due to the age and budget of the facility.

My relative was a patient there for years before his passing. I saw how well he was cared for. That was the main reason we chose Bellwood. They are wonderful about keeping family informed about patient issues and updates. The only real negatives were that patients did not have call buttons and there were no automatic doors for patients..

Professional, clean but a bit expensive., i.e., patients families must provide all snacks, laundry detergents, personal hygiene products but overall excellent.Staff was wonderful.

We were only there for two months before he fell and broke his leg and ended up in the hospital for surgery. He never went back after that and died [date removed]. But overall I would say we had a great experience there they were very kind to dad, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend it for anyone looking that was in my dad situation.

Thanks to A Place for Mom for the great recommendation of Trousdale Assisted Living in Hartsville. I know a few families in Gallatin who also have had positive experiences with this place. The layout is easy to adjust to, there is a nice caregiver to resident ratio, everyone is friendly and the facility is run well. [name removed] is excellent (I think she’s the senior manager) and my father likes this place as much as another larger facility in Hendersonville.

Heads up it's unfurnished, the deposit is non refundable but they will take good care of your mom. We picked this community, mainly because of the location, and it was close to the house.I would recommend to others.And thank you to you guys for helping me to navigate through a unfamiliar and difficult time in my life with my mom.
