Park Vista Retirement Living

Housekeepers don't come as often as we thought. They offer a lot of activities, but mom doesn't really take part. It's great for her, she is comfortable but like I said she tends to stay to herself more than we would like. It's her personality to not join in. There really is a lot to do. I have told a couple people I would recommend it

Need better communication to the caretaker aka Me when the resident refuses pills and anything in regard to their well-being. I wouldn’t find out until I showed up and that is one reason he went into the hospital for not taking his water pill. The staff was remarkable and treated Dad with respect immediately and help him get in a routine he was happy with quickly so he could feel like this was his home.

They have great communication and think about situations like a family member does. My mom walks all the time, like 6-10miles a day and they told me they were watching her calorie intake and gives her snacks because she burns so much. We were worried about the same thing and they brought it to me and already had a solution for it before I had a chance to bring it up. That really made me confident in their care.

The staff at The Legacy of DeForest have been great. There has been lots of turnover in the kitchen help. The housekeeping is good. The activities are great. I would recommend The Legacy of Deforest to others. Comparing it to others, it is much better.

I am currently a resident at Park Vista North Hill in the Independent Living part of the facility. Everything has been very good for me here. I would recommend this facility to others!

The staff have all been great! They are all friendly and work well with the residents. I would recommend Noel Manor Retirement to others.

The Legacy at DeForest community went over and above for us. We didn't have the funds they needed and I got a call that the owner wanted to help us and opened their doors to both of my parents...Based on the experience we have had so far with The Legacy of DeForest, we would absolutely recommend them to other families.

My spouse and I live at Park Vista- North Hill. The staff here at this facility are very helpful and courteous. Communication with the family is good. The food is good! Very caring people at this facility and I really like it here. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends. In fact, I tell people about it all the time!

I thought they did a very good job taking are of my wife. The staff was very pleasant to interact with. And the facility itself and her room were excellent.

Noel Manor Feels Like Home. The building design is uplifting and pleasant. The staff is supportive and friendly. The activities engage the residents. It is a good place.

When our family home got to be too much to handle for my 89 year old father after he started having some minor health issues,it was time to look for a facility that still left dad his independence but yet someplace that my brothers & sisters knew there would be help for him on days he would need someone to look in on him. We didn't want a place that had the look & feel of a nursing home or hospital but a place dad could call home & decorate like the home he was giving up after 66 years. We found it! Park Vista in Camanche was exactly what we were looking for.Dad at first reluctant, but we promised him that we would find a place he could call home. So when I toured the facility.I was very impressed with the layout of the building,it's amenities,cleanliness & staff on hand.When dad picked out his apartment during his tour,he couldn't wait to move in.The whole staff check on him daily & the nursing staff are always apprised of any changes in his medical needs from his doctors.

This is a very nice community with nice staff. The community is smaller with a smaller resident population with possibly more personalized care.

We chose The Legacy community based on its location and all the amenities they have to offer. It is very clean and the staff are all super friendly and helpful

My father is in dementia care program at Legacy. I have never had a bad interaction in over 1 year. The staff is caring and attentive., managers are walking around. The facility is clean. Decor is cozy. I cant care for my Dad, but there is nobody else I would like to. They also mix dementia people with regular during socials. We all feel great our Dad is here!!!

I love it! It's a great place, and I highly recommend it. I like the friendliness of the staff and the residents. The residents are just awesome. My mom's apartment is a good size. She loves the food. There are plenty of activities. It's just a great place!

They do a nice job at this community with my loved one. The staff are all friendly and easy to talk with. They also answer all of your questions if you have any. I have no complaints about this community. They have a bus to take people on tours and to services to appointments that they needed.

The community is very clean and welcoming, I wouldn't mind living there myself and the value for cost is great. The staff members go out of their way for our loved one at night time to play board games and checkers which we really appreciate.

I recently visited the cousin now living at Noel Manor, when I'd helped to find this senior placement. Very impressed overall-deal with friendly staff, good activity offerings. I accompanied her to 3 exercise classes and was impressed with the instructor's knowledge, and exercise/balance routines. (Residents only complaints are minor, re availability of veggies at evening meal). We're both pleased with our choice.

My father has lived at park vista for just over a year and his experience could not have been better. My wife and I have had experience with other family members at other care facilities and appreciate that park vista offers exactly what they advertise... The management staff go out of their way to provide social events that appeal to the residents. The nursing staff, if needed, have been responsive and extremely proactive. Overall, we and my father are extremely pleased with park vista and would highly recommend it to any perspective families looking for an independent or assisted living arrangement.
