I am so grateful to Poet's Walk for the fun and dignity they bring to my mom. She has just recently moved in, but I have never witnessed such hands on attentive staff. Our relations counselor, [name removed], has bent over backwards to make the move seemless. He has gone waaaaay above and beyond what I would've expected. So grateful! And honestly, everyone I have met so far seems to genuinely care and want to make my mom feel comfortable and valued. Several other family members have shared with me how much they love Poet's Walk and all the wonderful staff. Grateful to God for leading me to this caring community!

This is a small community well educated staff that are very attentive. They respond quickly and communicate well. they are also very adaptive.

For the first time in many years, our mom is getting the medical care and attention she needs. It was not until [name removed] (Head of Nursing) arrived at Poet's Walk, did this happen. She and [name removed] (Director) work as a seamless tag team to insure that a high level of care is achieved....even when it is not easy. I am in absolute awe of how this team has achieved as much as they have in such a short time, and am looking forward to experiencing the next steps!!!!

A few months ago, my sister & I were looking for a new memory care residence to move our mom to. At that time, Poet's Walk had nobody managing the residence and we felt our mom deserved a better quality of care than she was receiving there.. Then, [name removed], the new director, arrived. It has barely been three months, and there is no longer a reason to move Mom. [name removed - director] has cleaned house replacing (and adding) staff where needed, implemented training and orientation for all, created a more targeted activity program, and has built a cleaner, safer and more caring community. Individual needs of residents are being addressed on an ongoing basis, and as the out-of-town daughter of a parent with Dementia, I appreciate the candid, yet empathetic support given to our family. I am "wowed" by the progress and direction of this community. A Place For Mom will need to add additional star options for Poet's Walk in another few months!!!!

We chose Morningside House because it is very conveniently located and it is not too big and not too small. The rooms are a very good size. They are not doing some of their activities at the moment due to not having a driver to take them places. I would tell others to make sure you do all of your research and know what you can and cannot afford, some items are negotiable. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

I really liked what I heard when talking to this facility, but I was not able to afford it.

Seems like residents are happy and well taken care of. Staff seems to have a positive attitude and can meet his needs.

My husband is a new resident at Poet's Walk. The first time I visited Poet's Walk, I felt the warmth and comfort of this facility. This is a perfect place for my husband and the location is convenient for me. Administration is efficient, especially the Executive Director ([name removed]), Community Relations Counselor ([name removed]) and Director of Resident Care ([name removed]) who are amazing. They made the transition for my husband to Poet's Walk a smooth and easy one for him. They are also “hands on” people and very attentive to my husband's care and needs. The care staff are helpful and patient. The rehab therapist is wonderful. The facility is clean, bright, well laid out and well maintained. The dining rooms are spacious and clean and the food is very good and healthy. Daily activities for the residents are fun with live entertainments on some days. I would recommend Poet's Walk to anyone needing memory care residency for themselves or their loved ones. This is a great place.

Cardinal Village is just that... a special place. The team really goes above and beyond to care for the residents and provide great customer service. They are dedicated to the care they provide and have many things other memory care communities don't offer. You have to see for yourself.

My mother is 95. She has lived at Poet's Walk for 11 months. I am fully confident that Poet's Walk is the best home for my mom. All assisted living facilities have been impacted by COVID19. Poet's Walk, under the new leadership of [name removed] is making amazing strides in creating a positive and pleasant environment. My mom is the happiest she's been in a few years.

I am a physical therapist and have been amazed by the level of caring and empathy that is displayed on a daily basis at Poet's Walk. This place feels like home and all the staff make you feel that way. As a healthcare professional I am trained to observe and what I observe here is loving and caring.

We have been very satisfied. We chose Morningside House because [name removed] was very professional and welcoming. He gave us a good picture of what we would see if we became residents. The rooms here are a very good size. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to others looking.

Our tour with The Landing went very well. The facility was beautiful but it ended up being out of my moms price range.

Our family was able to tour Sunrise of Blue Bell and we really wanted our loved one here. Right when you walk through the front doors it is very bright and gives off a friendly atmosphere.

Our family had an in person tour and we really loved Poet's Walk, but they are a memory care only facility and at the time that was not what our loved one needed. However if our loved one ever needs memory care, we know where to look.

The Landing is a very clean community, the staff members are so friendly and do pretty much everything for you. For the most part the care services were really good. Our loved one was only there for 10 days before his passed, but he adjusted very well. The first day he moved in he became very angry and adamant about not staying there, but the staff members really worked with him to calm him down. They did not give up and worked on focusing his attention on other things to make him more comfortable. He was a very picky eater and overall he really enjoyed the meals and dining service. He enjoyed sitting outside speaking with the other residents and listening to the music the bands were playing. They always did a really good job to encourage him to participate in different things.

I would recommend to look at this facility it is awesome. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They call us by first name and they know us by now. They have a great staff. My loved one does not participate in the activities but from what I have seen they have a lot to offer.
