Experience so far has been a 5. Facilities and staff have exceeded expectations thus far. We have not been there that long but my father has expressed how kind and friendly everyone has been.

The moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted by friendly staff, which made me feel right at home. [name removed] was informative, not pushy and made me feel my mother would not only be well looked after, but might not want to come back home after her respite visit!

I was impressed with the assisted living section, particularly with the upgraded rooms. The feel of that section of the facility was welcoming and the common areas were quite impressive. The individual rooms were bright, plenty of natural light and obviously designed to maximize space while also fulfilling the needs of the residents. [name removed] answered my questions and invited me to ask more after I have reflected on the facility.

Mom likes it there the food is good, activities are plentiful and the staff seems to be helpful and friendly despite being short staffed. It's better then the 3 other places she's been in.

There was a lot of engagement with the residents. The facility was clean and aesthetically pleasing. The 1 bedroom room was very small and cramped for two people. For this reason it didn’t seem worth the price point.

The current is certainly a nice community. There are plenty of different activities available every day. My Dad's unit is spacious, well laid out and has med-high end features. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful. The place is clean and well maintained. My issue is with the food. Almost every single meal is served at a lukewarm to cold temperature. The portions are quite small and inconsistent. The variety of dinners served is really lacking and they serve far to many carb-heavy dishes. The meal service is very slow and sime dinners take over an hour to receive.

They just renovated the dining area. The common areas are very clean and the staff is very pleasant and caring. I would recommend Monarch Spring Meadows, I think it is a good option.

I had to move my mom quickly from a rehab facility directly to assisted living and they provided seamless support. Staff and residents were very welcoming, and my mother became acclimated in a very short amount of time. Spring Meadows also provides great value for the price, and I visited quite a few places in surrounding ZIP Code areas. The campus is beautiful, spacious, and feels very homey. Activities directors are warm and engaging, and the place provides a variety of recreational activities for varying interests The biggest challenges we had may have just been challenges we would've had in making this transition anywhere. Once Mom moved in it wasn't completely clear how to communicate with nursing, enroll her in getting services with medical professionals who serve the facility, who to turn to with billing and business related questions and so on. Perhaps a directory of professionals and who to call for what would be helpful to give families of new residents. But overall, I think Spring Meadows is a wonderful solution and I'm happy that my mom found her way there.

The facility was very clean and the apartment was beautiful. The staff was excellent. The biggest complaint was the food. They did not have skim milk, sugar-free jelly, plain yogurt. In other words, someone who may need to watch sugar and fat intake did not have a lot of choices.
The staff are attentive and friendly. The dining experience seems to be well done. In the dining area the tables are set with flowers. And the staff are very attentive to the needs of the residents. I've only experienced the activities in the afternoon They seem to be appropriate for the level of the residents. My mother is in the memory care unit of Brandywine. I would recommend this facility

Our experience was good however my mom complains about everything. The food is horrible and not nutritious. (Which is not true) there's never enough staff CNA's or APRN's. Everyone hates it there. She's just angry she is there and not home.

Beautiful place, lots of activities, decent food, friendly staff and Princeton is such a great area. The wellness center took a long time to get my mom's medication right. I would definitely recommend going to outside doctors. The administrative staff is friendly but they do not follow through on issues of being overcharged. You really have to stay on top of them and make sure everything is done properly.

Everyone is so friendly. It is easy to make friends among the residents and the staff go out of their way to help with any need. The main complaint is about the food but you can't satisfy every person every time. Administration does try to correct any problems.

I recently located my parents from NY to CT to be closer to me and in a safe and caring environment. This was a challenging transition given my father’s rapid decline in safety, particularly with his balance, and his advancing dementia. It was a sudden move for him from his home of 52 years. Every staff member, regardless of their role, has been warm, caring, patient and attentive. There have been some hiccups with changes in nursing and with managing medications, however I am hopeful that these were minor glitches and all will settle into place. The facility is consistently clean, the food has been good, and as I shared all staff, whether high school servers, aides, front desk, activity coordinators, nurses, business office, have all been wonderful! Overall, I am pleased with the care and support provided to my parents and I can rest more comfortably each day knowing they are well cared for. Equally, they welcome my frequent visits along with other friends and family.

While it seems that overall they do take good care of all residents, it is helpful to visit frequently and check in. They attend to issues right away when something is brought to their attention. I sometimes need to remind them to clean my mother's bathroom, or clean a bit deeper...

It has truly been a very good experience. The staff is very attentive and has been great with my MIL. Only complaint would be the variety of activities and the fact there have been changes to staff a bit. The core staff is extremely attentive and supportive but there have been some high level changes that have affected consistency. Overall a very positive experience and one I would highly recommend.

1. Staff all very friendly and helpful. 2. Grounds beautiful. 3. If resident will be making own decisions and advocating for him/herself, then need to make that clear up front and keep pushing for them to respect that. It took a bit for them to get that my Aunt is making her decisions, not me. 4. If there is an issue which needs addressing, be persistent. As in all things, the squeaky wheel gets the oil. 5. Having APRN (primary care), podiatrist, dentist come right on site is a great benefit. 6. Seems to be a good mix of activities to keep people involved. 7. Planned family events are nice. 8. We had issues with the pharmacy used by Monarch getting things timely and getting 90 day supplies of meds (which saves money bc copay is same whether 1 month or 3). My aunt manages her own medication. I don't know if issue was on Monarch side, pharmacy side or both. 9. Dining hall has had issues around open vs. assigned seating as well as seating times. I think part of issue is they are back up to higher # of residents. That sad Mimi has been satisfied with the food and options and portions.
