It was like home here for my Mom. She has been here 3 times for rehab and they have been efficient and professional caring for her physical, medical, emotional and spiritual needs.

A home away from home! I loved the staff so caring and speedy in catering to your needs. They had a great sense of humor and made my stay so great with a speedy recovery. Spotless premises and rooms. Excellent food gained 10 lbs. I highly recommend the rehabilative home. Well organized administrators. They pride themselves in doing the best in all areas. Staff and administration work as a team. At night staff responded to my needs so that I would not fall. It is 5 stars in everything. I highly recommend the Clare Oaks of Assissi for rehabilitation. Your stay will be positive! So many patients complimented staff on speed and caring service. Visitors were most impressed with their care and concern for you. So close to my home.

Parkwood Retirement was chosen by a neighbor and good friend of mine two years ago. She had looked at a lot of possibilities, but chose Parkwood to be her home. It was the right decision for her! From the coziness of her apartment, to the numerous choices on the food menu, to the entertainment and the caring and committed staff, she is a very happy resident. As she says, "I can be as busy as I want to be!" I would be remiss to say she also is very happy with the hairdresser at Parkwood!

An elderly friend of ours visited several retirement facilities two years ago. After much deliberation she decided on Parkwood. I must say that she could not have made a better choice. From the onset, the caring staff, the excellent facilities and many activities have only solidified that Parkwood was the right choice.

We cannot say enough good things about my mom's stay at Clare Oaks after a broken hip! The facilities are so warm (not institutional feeling) and clean. They had plenty of activities to help break up the day. But the superstar to me at Clare Oaks are the staff! EVERYONE - from the person who cleaned Mom's room every morning to the administration is so friendly and helpful and ATTENTIVE to needs. It is obvious that they all actually care about the residents, they are not just there filling time to get a paycheck. So patient with everyone, even those who make it hard to stay patient! It made it so much easier for me to leave each time I visited to know that she was being so well cared for. Two specific examples that show the level of care: Mom does not like to be alone, but also doesn't like to feel like she is bothering anyone, so she won't say anything most of the time. Her very first night there, the nurse noticed right away that she did not seem to enjoy being alone in her room watching TV and brought her out to the living area by nurses station. From then on, without Mom or I asking, the only time she spent in her room was when she went to bed at night. Also, one weekend when it seemed they were shorthanded, we were surprised to see one of the administrative staff up on the floor helping to get residents to and from the dining room. Shocked first of all that top administrator staff was even there on a weekend and then that they pitched right in with rest of staff so that residents were not kept waiting for dinner. I went every morning to sit in dining room with Mom while she ate breakfast and it was fun and reassuring to hear the friendly banter between the nurses/aides and the residents - again, real caring, not just doing a job! I could go on and on - but the bottom line is that while I hope that we don't ever need to have mom in a facility for short or long term, if we do - Clare Oaks would definitely be where we want her to go; for her health and wellness and for our peace of mind it cannot be beat!

I have been a patient on rehab care a few time and the most recent was Aug’17. All of the nurses, CAN’S, therapists, and all are the best. That’s why I chose Clare Oaks so many times. Specific issues are and have been the food, not at all lot or tasty most of the time. Plus items on special menu were not made consistently.

This is the most extraordinary senior venue that I have resided. The aspects that I like are: 1. Spectacular architecture of design. 2. Excellent apartment design. 3. Spa, standardize, swimming pool. 4. Fun activities every day. 5. Wonderful, accommodating staff. 6. Excellent chef prepared food. 7. Extended disabled care.

From the moment I walked in the door I knew Clarendale was a special place. It is truly beautiful and welcoming. The staff is amazingly friendly and supportive. They not only treat the resident like family but care for the family as well. The activities, food and entertainment are all well planned and exciting to look forward to. I would highly recommend them because they are the best place out there so thankful I found the Clarendale. Move in coordinators [Removed] were amazing! Nurses grace, [Removed] so friendly and supportive. Front desk [Removed] always greet you with kind words and smile. [Removed] was wonderful. Too many great people to name all.

This community is very nice, they offer a lot of amenities for their residents to take part in, they have a nice game and TV room. There's a beautiful view of the waterways from many of the apt windows and the apt's are very nice. The staff is friendly, they keep me well informed about my mother's progress. As for my mother's transition, she has been a bit difficult. My mother does have a private caregiver and they are encouraging her to be a part of the activities and to go down to dinner with the other residents. I would definitely recommed taking a tour here.

We have selected this community. They offer a large variety of activities for independent seniors. The residents are friendly and seem very happy. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff has been beyond friendly and supportive through this process.

We toured this community. They offer a different environment for the residents. the staff is friendly. This was a different type of community that we were needing for my mom's care. We did like the staff and the care that is available. The menu was appealing. We would suggest that other families tour this community for the care of a loved one.

I was at ASSISI at Clara Oaks for rehab after open heart surgery to replace 3 valves that were leaking. My stay here has been very enjoyable. The nurses, doctors, CAN’s, therapists and all who work here are very nice. The food is very good. The private rooms are kept spotlessly clean.

Every one in this whole company has really gone far below their jobs to help me get my mother into this complex I will be forever remember them for that help

This community is awesome. The layout of the community is just what we were searching for. The staff is wonderful very kind and attentive to the residents. Mom is more active than she has been in past years she is always busy with the activities and events they hold. She is loving the food taste good. The community is always clean looking and well maintained.

I have no complaints so far, everything is going quite well! The staff are very friendly and the facility looks clean and inviting. My loved one also gets plenty of opportunities to participate in activities with other residents!
