Westminster Village is really an ideal place to live in retirement. There is a very active activities program if you wish to participate. I can't say enough about the staff. They are terrific! And during this pandemic they have excelled themselves. One staff member baked cookies for residents on her own birthday! "To help keep morale up!" When you thank them for something they reply, "My pleasure". Anyone of them is willing to help you with any problem! They are a delight to be around.

My parents have lived here for 3 years and it has been a great move for them. They have so many friends there and enjoy the many activities. There is always something to do! The staff is wonderful and works diligently to keep the residents cared for and happy. Can't wait until I can move in myself!

When asked what I like most about Westminster Village, I always reply,"The people". Outgoing, friendly people from a variety of backgrounds & experiences with fascinating stories to share. Neighbors are like family. Staff is great from the top down to maintenance. Always positive, listen and ready to help. When we are in the therapy pool and a maintenance man walks through, waves and hollers, "Hey (names), how you doing today?" it doesn't get any better than that. Multiple activities to help maintain healthy body, mind and soul. Great place.

The Westminster Village is a jewel. A cadre of positive smiling employees who seek to be helpful to residents. A host of opportunities for residents to participate in a variety of activities. Good food service even during the pandemic. Management is receptive to resident suggestions and acts with a timely follow-up. It is a real resident community where you can make new friends and visit with and learn from people who have had a lifetime of experiences.

Really a 1st class place with woodworking shop, swimming pool, interesting people and nearby a large University (Purdue)

When you move into a retirement community you sometimes worry about having to give up your hobbies. No worries! Whether it's gardening, painting, swimming, woodworking, or exercising you will find them all at Westminster Village. The staff tries to accommodate whatever it is you like to do.

Beautiful campus setting with nearby banks, groceries, restaurants and churches. We have lived here nearly five years. The residents are friendly and eagerly await the resumption of classes, activities, lectures, programs, entertainment and special events.

I have been an independent living resident for 6+ years, last 2 1/2 a widow. Atmosphere is caring, helping all residents feel needed and appreciated. The care my husband got in hospice was remarkable and very supportive of me. Particularly like communication mechanism which allows for resident input as well as admin. sharing of what's going on. Activities are numerous. I have been very involved in ceramics - no previous experience. A writing group led to sharing of many memories. Enjoy times in Pub with friends and family. Volunteer opportunities available.

My husband and I live in one of the newer buildings on the north side of Westminster Campus and we love it. The staff is super plus we have wonderful amenities and great neighbors. At this time of Covid 19 we feel safe and lucky to be here at Westminster Village.

Our management and residents are wonderful. The campus has lots of trees and green grass. Very pleasant living.

Marquette Health Center staff are very attentive to the needs of the residents. Friendly, kind, and helpful whenever assisting family with questions and request. This is a great place!

My 94 year old mother has been a resident of GVS for five years. She initially moved into a one bedroom apartment and was able to qualify for independent living but then transitioned into assisted living due to progression of her dementia. My 5 star rating is based upon our experience in both facilities. The nursing staff is amazing. Everyone is so kind and they do a great job communicating our mother's well being. The physical surroundings are kept in top condition, even with the age of the buildings. Food and dining has always been above expectations. My family did extensive research before deciding on GVS and we all feel blessed our mother is a resident, especially given the COVID 19 environment. Their visitation protocols in place have resulted in no reported resident infections as of [date removed] which is impressive.

I have never seen my wife [name removed] in such good spirits and seems to be like a different person after being placed in your facility. We talk a lot and I come see her when it's available and everyone treats you like your part of Clarendale's family. Best decision I made was to place her with you.

I would recommend Clarendale Of Algonquin to a friend. My grandmother likes the food. The room sizes are good and the layout of the community is good. They have secured outdoor space for residents. The sales staff was pleasant to work with.

The people at the community were really nice and they made a lot of good friends. The restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful to them. The community was real clean and most of the staff were super friendly but some not so much. Overall, we chose this community because it was nice and clean we thought they would be best taken care of there over the others that we looked at. I would recommend this community to other families.

My sister has been a resident at the GVS Pavilion for 5 years. Everyone I’ve interacted with at the facility has been consistently kind, helpful and friendly. They keep me informed of her care and advise me of changes and new orders including medications and therapies. My sister and I both attend her Periodic Care Planning meetings and the one constant comment from her is how good the food is (and she’s picky). Even though I can’t currently visit her due to COVID-19 restrictions, I know that my sister is safe, happy and well cared for by the staff at GVS. Just as a side note, the Pavilion is a pretty facility. The lobby has a beautiful fireplace and you are greeted by a very welcoming receptionist. It gives you a calming feeling as soon as you enter.

In the year Mom has lived at Danberry she has made many new friends and is very happy with her new home ... and that's what counts.

I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to live. The family atmosphere is wonderful. Everday the directors make sure they have seen or talked on the phone with each resident. I was amazed they do this every day. We also get to do activities on and off the property. I am proud to be living here and hope I have helped you to decide to do the same.

This community is so amazing! I have never experienced anything else like Greenwood Village South. From the smiles on the residents’ faces, to the staff who go above and beyond for everyone, to the amazing food and quality care, this community will be my future home!
